Shion smiled, thankful for the distraction as he nodded. "Sure." he nodded.

"Not to, uh, brag or anything, but my mother's window display is the best." That's really what Kaleos wanted to show Shion as they wound their way down the sidewalk. The shopping district wasn't far, his mother's store the closest.

"Oh, I do believe Tory will object to that." Shion smiled slightly, thinking of Soren's rather...flamboyant brother.
He walked with the male, completely warm even as they were blasted with a particularly vicious wind.

"Tory has got nothing on my mother. He gets all his ideas from her." Kaleos laughed in exageration as he made sure to keep Shion cuddled close so the wind didn't touch him. For once, the Zercan was happy to be so big.
"He's a nice fellow though, Torry." The panther added. "Always polite when I talked with him."

"Oh sure, he's polite." Shion said a bit sarcastically, thinking of the lovable lug's propensity to hit on him. Shion actually feared for his non-existent virtue when he was around the male.
As they arrived at the window, Shion could feel his breaht being taken away. "Wow..." was all he managed.

Kaleos grinned as they stopped in front of the window. "See? Way better." The window was displaying manequins all dressed in the most opulent clothes. Brightly colored fabric was spilled about, showing off the best of Kaleos' mother's embroideries along with her amazing sewing capabilities.

"This is very beautiful." Shion nodded, looking at the items. "They must be ridiculoously expensive." The male murmured, looking at the fineness off the silk.

"I supposed." Kaleos said with a shrug. He'd been around his mother's silk his entire life and had never thought about price much.
"Do you see anything you like?" The panther murmured, lips against Shion's ear. He didn't know if the male was interested in pretty things like that or not, but it was worth a shot.

Shion did in fact see many things he liked, but shook his head. "I couldn't possibly." he said, shivering as Kaleos' voice traveled down his spine.

"Oh, yes you could possibly." Kaleos grinned and reached into his pocket. "Because," he added, "I have the key." He dangled the dully glinting key in front of Shion like a carrot. It was unclear if this was what Kaleos had been going for this the entire time or not.

"No, Kaleos, I don't think this is such a good idea." he said, shaking his head.

"Aww, gee." Kaleos scuffed his food against the ground before looking up at Shion again. "Even if I also said that I asked my mother and she said that it was alright?" He asked hopefully.

"See that's unfair." Shion said, folding his arms. "You can't pull that face on me and expect me not to say it's alright." he frowned in mock-annoyance.

"All right!" Kaleos crowed, swinging an arm around Shion's waist to pull him to the door. "Who says practicing in the mirror doesn't pay off?" He teased, jamming the key into the lock and turning it with a click.
He opened the door to his mother's shop, the fresh smell of clean silk and a little dust wafted out of the cool shop.

Shion shook his head as Kaleos opened the door. He looked around as the lights came on, and found himself a bit speachless. Iori would have loved this place, just the sheer colors of everything was amazing.
