Vampyre hearts and Angel wings [Gabriel/Araki]

"Ah." 'Not the only gorgeous thing at night.' He thought with a sigh.

"C'mon," he said, as he grabbed the man's hand and pulled him alon towards the Battery.

[Anelir]

Araki grinned, glowing with happiness as he tightened his hand around the other's, allowing himself to be pulled.

The pair moved along the streets and Gabriel smiled when they approached battery park.

[Anelir]

Araki chuckled at the other's excitement, looking around to see walkways lined with trees and benches as well as historical statues and cannons.
"Wow, this place is pretty cool." He admitted.

Gabriel nodded, walking with the male and not even realizing they were still holding hands.

[Anelir]

'Well, haven't managed to scare him away yet, maybe...' He thought hopefully, smiling contently as he gently moved his thumb against the soft skin of the other's hand.

Gabriel looked back at the male, a bit questioningly before he pulled him over to a few of the cannons, sitting on top of one and letting him go. "So, what do you think?" he asked as the chilly Charleston air washed over them from the water.

[Anelir]

Araki turned around, back facing the cannon before gracefully sitting on it.
"I think I like it here. It's peaceful." He answered, turning to the other before looking away, to tempted to tackle the other.
"D-do you come here often? Or is this just one of those 'once a year' things?"

Gabriel looked out over the water. "I come here when my life gets too...hectic." he said, looking over his shoulder at Araki.

"Ah, yes I could see that. This place is kind of soothing." He said with a smile, casually leaning against the other just enough to touch, incase the Angel decided he didn't want it.

Gabriel looked at the male before looking back over the inky dark water, the two of them sitting in companionable silence.

[Anelir]

Araki decided that making out of this date without being hated was first priority which meant, no molesting the date. His inner Vampyre was raring in protest until he finally rested his head against the other, the contact seeming to enough to quiet his inner beast, if only a little.

Gabriel looked over to the male, blushing a little. Who knew vampyres were so touchy? Not that Gabe didn't like it mind you.

Araki held back a grin when the Angel didn't pull away. He had been contemplating it all night and decided that Gabriel had to be the one. If he couldn't have him then he had no more meaning. Some how he realized that the night he had found the Angel was the night he had found his mate. He just hoped the Angel would see that.

The Vampyre gave a happy sigh, a deep purr began to sound in the back of his throat as he closed his eyes.
