*Sonny, I did get along without you just fine before and I'm sure I'll do fine now.* Darius said, but not unkindly. *Don't worry. There's enough people around that I won't get bored.* He reached up and kissed his mate.

Sonny still seemed a little reluctant but agreed. "Alright, but if you get bored just ask where I am," he said kissing his mate back and heading down a different hall to the front desk. "Harmony's always free or Tamber," he called back.

*I will.* Darius nodded as he watched Sonny leave, already feeling like the best part of him was gone. He shook it off though. Sonny didn't need to be neglecting his work. So, the Fae flitted off back to the kitchen, looking for Tamber. Harmony was just a little too young for him. He didn't want any weird questions about where babies came from or something like that.

Almost immediately after restarting work, Sonny was requested by a customer. They were two barers, brothers and older than him, that came quite often. He had always thought they'd had a likeness for him that bordered on obessesion, but had put up with it. As soon as he was out in the gardens for their requested serenade, they asked, "So, Sonny, where have you been hiding the past few days."
Sonny's mind floated to his mate. He hoped Darius wasn't harassing his brothers too much. It took him a while before he could bring his wandering mind back to answer. Smiling, he responded, "I found my mate; I took a few days off to help him get use to things."
The customers' faces fell, but quickly picked up. "How lucky he is. Will we be expecting any little Sonny's running around anytime soon?"
"Three," he answered and the customers' eyes widened. "Then we request a song of joy and congradulations to be song for you."
Sonny obeyed.

Darius poked his head into the kitchen, looking about. Everyone seemed to have head off already so the Fae moved tentatively in. *I'm hungry.* He said to no one in particular. He didn't know where Tamber had gotten off to either, but he wasn't particularly worried.
Instead, the teen opened the freezer, remembering that Harmony had ice cream the other day. Ice cream sounded very good. Maybe chocolate or vanilla. Or both.

It seemed that Sonny upset many costumers that day with the news of his new mate, but they all wished him luck and congradulated him on the triplets. At the end of the day, his giver called him over.
"Hey, Sonny, you know how there's getting to be less and less room in the spa?"
Sonny nodded. "I was wondering what you thought of maybe buying the lot next door for living quarters, you know, that old appartment. Maybe Melody and Harmony could move back here and Symphony too."
Sonny thought it was a wonderful idea. His family always liked being close. Both his barer brothers lived on other planets with their mates and his other brother had gotten himself a small house on the other side of town. But the appartment would need to be renovated. Sonny wondered if Darius liked decorating.

Unaware of the talk of moving, Darius had wandered outside with his huge bowl of ice cream. He had curled up in the garden in what was become his favorite spot. The rose smelled wonderful and the memories of Sonny's body pressed to his was intoxicating. Yup. Definitely his favorite spot.

Sonny found his little mate in the rose maze and sat down beside him waiting for Darius to take notice of his presence.
