Darius found himself dragging his feet on the way back to Sonny's room. He didn't believe that Sonny had taken advantage of him, but he wished he had love for his new...mate. There was none thought, not right now and that made him feel horrible about that whole situation.
*Got rid of father.* He said once he was in Sonny's room again. He tried not to seen nervous now, but he was.

"Come," Sonny said opening his arms to Darius. He could feel there was something upsetting his new mate and he wanted to make all his worries go away.

And Darius went. He settled into his lover's arms, trying not to seem reluctant or frightened. The teen cuddled into Sonny, body automatically relaxing.

Sonny knew Darius was reluctant to love him, and that even though they were mates, he was still holding back, but Sonny loved him and was determined to have his lover love him. Sonny buried his face in Darius' hair and murmured, "As long as I am able to embrace you in these arms, I will make it my quest to have you love me."

Darius made a soft noise, clinging to Sonny sweetly. *I'm sorry.* Darius whispered again. *You could have had anyone and they would have loved you unconditionally.* His voice trembled and his hid his face. Fearful to have admitted such a thing to the male who called himself his mate.

Sonny just held him tighter. "I would have had no other." He knew that he could never loved anyone else, only the one he now held in his arms.

Darius' tongue flicked out, glossing over Sonny's matemark. His body was at odds with his heart and it made him nervous. *You're so kind.* The Fae told Sonny, nestling further down into the male's arms, physically and emotionally fatigued.

Sonny said nothing, just slowly laid on the bed still holding Darius exhuasted from the day's events.

Darius cuddled close, his breathing evening out as he drifted off to sleep. He stayed close to Sonny the entire time, barely shifting at all.

Sonny's eyes slowing started to drift and soon he was asleep, the sound of Darius' breathing lulling him into dreams. Yet, he did not dream and every now and then he would twitch from some unpleasant feeling inside him. It seemed like only minutes later but already the next morning when there was a light knock on his door fallowed quickly by a loud bang and the rude entrance of his youngest brother.
"Sonnet Yolen Pleasant, you better not be lazying off...oh, sorry," said his brother slowly backing away, but Sonny was already sitting up awakened and annoyed.

The moment he heard shouting, Darius panicked, heart rate jumping. He was in a strange bed and surrounded by strange smells. His still sleep groggy brain couldn't comprehend what was going on.
The Fae gave a piercing mental shriek before jerking backwards off the bed in confusion. He hit the floor with a thump, blankets and all.

Sonny growled softly at his brother before going to help Darius off the floor holding a hand out to him. "I'm sorry for my brother's inconsideration. Are you alright?"

Darius blinked up at Sonny, before squinting at the male as if he didn't recognize him. *Oh. Oh!* He gasped when everything from the day before came flooding back. *I'm fine.* He took Sonny's hand before scrambling back up on the bed.
*We had sex.* He said by way of remembrance, not sounding particularly thrilled or put out by it.

"Blutnly put, yes," Sonny said before turning to a confused brother. "Is there something you want, Harmony?"
The younger brother shook his head. "Uh, I was just wondering where you were, you were suppose to give me a massage lesson today, but it's seems you have more interesting matters, so I'll leave."
Sonny cringed knowing he'd forgotten about his little brother, but he didn't want to leave his new mate just yet and turned to Darius.

Darius just waved his had dismissively. *If you promised your brother something, you should keep it.* He said evenly. He wasn't sure if he was wanted Sonny to leave or not. The teen felt like he needed to really process everything that had happened.
