Sing Me A Lullaby [Sonny/Darius]

[clementine]

*Really?* Darius asked quietly, looking at Sonny with a blush. *Thought I was the only one.* He said more to himself than to Sonny. At least the Fae admitted it.

[phantasmalunar]

"No, you are not alone in that thought, though I am pleased to hear you thought of me," Sonny said smiling and gently laid one hand over one of Darius'.

[clementine]

Darius balked when he felt Sonny's hand against his own and stood up abruptly. *I bet my dad freaked you out when he chopped off my wings, yeah?* He asked by way of distraction, a nervous laugh following his words as he crossed his arms.

[phantasmalunar]

Sonny smiled, but it was a smile of exasperation of the fleetingness of Darius. But, he could be patient. "Yes, I was quite shocked and dismayed by that scene."

[clementine]

Darius had no idea he was being exasperating. All he knew was that he was nervous. "*Really?* He asked, not really tending to the conversation as he looked out the window. *It'll be two weeks before the stupid things grow back.* The teen sighed in dismay at the long wait.

[phantasmalunar]

"Does that mean you'll have to stay here for those two weeks," Sonny asked, though the knew there was probably a ship they had taken to get here, he hoped that (even though he'd rather have Darius with his wings) that the lost of the wings would keep Darius around a little longer.

[clementine]

Darius paused, an expression of pure guile painted on his face. *Good idea. I'm glad you thought to say that.* He plopped back down on the bed, bouncing a little as he thought. *I think that'll be a good punishment for Father. Two weeks of hotel bills. It'll serve him right for tangling me in that tree.*

[phantasmalunar]

Though Sonny found what Darius said to have been amusing, he decided to tease him just a bit. "Are hotel bills and punishment the only reason you want to stay two more weeks?"

[clementine]

Darius turned pink and crossed his arms with a huff. *Well of course.* He said in a totally unconvincing manner. *Should there be another reason for staying?* He couldn't believe that he was teasing Sonny himself and tried not to look embarrassed.

[phantasmalunar]

Sonny put his hands to his heart in a hurt manner, "You wound me!" he said, but the smile on his face deflated the hurt he was acting.

[clementine]

*Oh stop.* Darius said, smacking Sonny's shoulder lightly even though he was smiling himself. *I very much doubt that you goose."

[phantasmalunar]

Sonny chuckled. "I take that as an insult, my voice if of much prettier quality than that of those creatures honking," he said and leaned so that his lips were by Darius' ear.

In a whisper, he said, "Or do you think my voice unattractive."

[clementine]

Darius shuddered, eyes growing lidded. *You want...I should lie?* He asked, voice a little breathy as he grasped for words to make a sentence. His body ached to touch Sonny's. The male was so close that it was nearly driving Darius mad.

Simply letting go, the tiny Fae leaned into the warmth of the body next to him, fitting perfectly against the curve of Sonny's body with a sigh. He'd been wanting to do that all day!

Sonny grinned and lightly wrapped his arms around Darius briging him closer. He let his lips lower to Darius' ear once again and whispered in a smooth voice, "I've been wanting to embrace you since the moment you left, Darius."

[clementine]

Darius didn't protest when Sonny pulled him closer. actually laying his head against the male's shoulder. When Sonny whispered against his ear, the teen raised a hand and placed it against the Sensaphorian's cheek, drawing him down so that he could kiss the corner of the male's delicious mouth.

*And I've been wanting to do that.* Darius murmured after the chaste kiss. He wondered when he had gotten so bold with people he barely knew, but brushed it off.
