The Perfect Match (Darren/Epsilon)

Darren smiled, before sitting up and tugging the boy closer to him. He debated on whether or not to tell the boy what he had been thinking, as of right now..he didn't think Eppi could handle it.

Epsilon was happily oblivious to whatever Darren was thinking. He was still very much a kid, mind not going past the occasional kissing. Still, he sensed the Zercan thinking and had to ask.

'What're you thinking so hard on, Darren?' The teen queried as he cuddled into the male's warmth.

"Nothing you need to worry about right now." he smiled. "How about another moive?" he asked, changing the subject.

[clementine]

Epsilon pouted cutely. "I guess." He shrugged, giving Darren a quick kiss. That still didn't mean he didn't want to know what the male was thinking any less. "Can we watch one of those cartoons?" He added eagerly, pout forgotten as he smiled.

"Sure, why not." Darren smiled, giving his adorable mate a small kiss.

Epsilon giggled delightedly. "Good." Grinned, struggling out of bed to stand. "I'll go and pick on out. It'll be a surprise, okay? So no peeking." With that, the teen darted out to where the movie collection was to pick out his cartoon.

Darren chuckled, but headed towards the deck. He checked everything from the ships levels to surrounding possible threats before dubbing everything alright and going into the kitchen to wait for Eppi.

Epsilon was humming happily to himself as he picked out a movie with lions on the front. Excited with his choice, he popped the movie in, keeping it on pause as he went for Darren.

"Alright. I've got one picked out." He smiled, reaching for the male to pull him towards the couch from the night before.

"Alright, let's see what you picked." Darren smiled, before sitting next to his mate, he chuckled to himself as Eppi played the movie.

"The Lion King?" he smiled. "I'm starting to wonder if you have a thing for cats," he joked.

"Only cheetahs." Epsilon quipped as he snuggled down to watch the opening of the heard of singing animals.

Darren smiled. "Aw, I'm flattered." he whispered before watching the movie with the boy, humming along to "Circle of Life."

"You should be." Eppi murmured, reaching up to kiss Darren's cheek as his attention fell back to the movie. He was crying why Mufasa died and worried over Simba.

Darren smiled, thinking that Eppi had just found his new favorite thing. He watched the movie, smiling as Timon and Pumba taught Simba the "Hakuna Matata" way of life.

It was his favorite movie, by a long shot. He liked it when he could cry and laugh and be serious all in one movie. He was cheering loudly when Simba went to take back Pride Rock. The teen had Darren's hand clasped in his own with breathless anticipation.

Darren held back a laugh as he simply watched the movie with Eppi, smiling as Zazu sang "I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts..."
