The sun, shone into the window and onto the face of a 17 year old boy. Not knowing, that his eyelids closed tighter, hoping to block out the sun. The boy brought up a lightly tan hand, and covered his eyes slightly. But it was no use, his eyes already started to open. Letting out a groan he got up and sat on the side of the bed.
Looking around with light brown eyes he closed one, and ran a hand through golden/brown hair. That just touched his shoulders, and was a mess. And he never thought of running a comb through it. All he did was run his finger's through his hair when he felt like it. Finally getting up he went and got dressed in a pair of faded old blue jeans, and a dark blue, long sleeve shirt.
Heading out of his room, he walked down the stairs as softly as he could. Not wanting to wake his dreadful mother up, ever since his father died, his mother has been nothing but cruel to him. And tried to ignore him when ever she could, which did not bother Koray that much. Yes that was his name Koray Yilmaz. His first name means 'Ember Moon'. But he never found out what his last name ment.
Managing to get his shoes on, and a light jacket on. Koray walked out the door, he rubbed the left side of his neck. There was a tattoo that in Japanese meant 'Courge'. Hoping that this would give him strenght, and the courge to finally tell his mother how he felt. But today was not one of those days. Today, was just another day of him roaming around the town.

One deep red eye opened to look at the clock sitting on the table by his head. It was 6:30 in the morning. He sat up and stretched, as he thought back on the actions of the night before. The bodies, oh, the many bodies. He licked his lips just thinking about it. He had gotten a nice meal last night. Being half incubus can be fun, he thought as he looked down at the small body the grace the other side of the bed he slept in. His nightly flings have been going on for over a year now, but they never lost their enjoyment.
Haruki walked around the bed and gently shook the boy in bed. As the boy’s sleepy green eyes fell upon him, Haruki gently kissed the boy on the lips. “Thank you for the wonderful night.” With that, Haruki dresses in his clothes from last night, which consisted of a black fishnet shirt and leather pants with his black boots. Flipping his deep black hair over his shoulder, he exited the house of his one-time fling and headed home. He had to get to work in two hours, and he had to open the book store today.

Koray could hear what some people were talking about. But he always keep to himself, and never tried to get involed with anyone. That was just him, the strong and silent type. Expect for when he was playing the sport of hockey, which caused him to be very vocal about his thoughts on things. Letting out a sigh, he stuffed his hands deeper in his pockets keeping his eyes looking at the ground infront of him.
'Maybe I'll go look at some books, or something.' He thought taking his one hand and brushing his hair out of his eyes. So that he could see just a little bit better, and so that his hair did not get into his eyes. Stopping, he shook his head thinking of what to do, if he thought of looking at the books. And if there was another thing he could do, that could allow him to be alone.

Haruki had just finished setting up when the store’s owner, Bryan, walked in. With his lime green spiky hair and bright brown eyes, most wonder why his life goal was to own a book store. For those who were brave enough the six foot three giant, his only answer would be to sit in the corner of the store and stuff his face in another book.
“Hey Bry,” Haruki said, securing his post behind the counter.
Bryan grunted and went to his office in the back of the book store. The store itself was oversized, and had about twice as many books as a Borders bookstore. You could find any book you wanted in there, from Wicca to workshop, from food to fantasy. If it’s in book form, you could get it there. This is thanks to Bryan’s family, which specializes in the publishing of books. They get to keep the extra copies that don’t get sent off to their respective stores and sell them in the family store.
Haruki first met Bryan in a club on his first might on Earth. They saw each other from across the club, and knew they would be friends. It was something in their eyes, or so Bryan says.
Haruki pulled up his chair and cut on the register. Then he grabbed the book under the counter that he was currently reading. He had first dabbled in the ‘Black Dagger Brotherhood’ series when he had seen Bryan with the fifth book. He had read two chapters and couldn’t get enough of it. Since he had gone back to the beginning, he would always read during work.
He was just finishing the third chapter of book four, when he heard the bell on the front door go off. Without looking up, he said, “Good morning. Welcome to the Book Mania.”

Koray could hear someone say something, that sounded like a 'Good Morning'. From behind a counter, but he kind of ignored the person and walked through the selves of books. He truly was not looking for anything, just for soemthing that would catch his eye. Koray had also been in this book store once or twice, and knew where a few sections were but not all of them.
He knew where the biography section was, that also mixed with the hockey section. And that was really it, he read more of books like these, than try to find different books. Running his hand through his hair he tailed a finger over the binds of the books he was looking at. A few stood out to him by the names, like Dominik Hasek, and a few more. But he never read them, he would just skim to see if there was a part he would like to read.
Finding a book on the life and history of Rob Ray, he took it off the shelf and looked at the back. Reading what it was about, and finally remembering who this guy was. Koray closed the book and walked towards the counter, pulling out his wallet as he did so. Not looking at who was there he set the book down and waited for the cashier to tell him how much to pay.

(Begins with quote from Lover Revealed, A Novel of the Black Dagger Brotherhood Chapter four, page 35)
‘The Omega placed one hand on the table, put the blade to the tip of the finger, and bore down. There was a crack, like a carrot had been cut.
The Omega leaned over Butch. “Where to hide, where to hide…”
As the knife came up and hovered over Butch’s abdomen, Butch screamed.’-
A book was set down in front of him with a low thump. Haruki sighed, muttering, “it’s always on the good parts. I’m never interrupted during the bad parts.”
Setting the book to the side, he ran his hand through his deep black hair and scanned the book into the computer. ‘The Life and History of Rob Ray, huh? Well, who am I to judge?' he thought as the book came up on the computer.
“That will be $10.69. Would you like a bag?” He reached under the counter to grab a coupon to be used at the store for 50% off your next purchase of $50 or more.

Koray looked at the guy, as he pulled out a ten and a one and set them down. He did not feel like saying anything that much as he heard what the cashier said. People did that to him as well, interupt him when he got to a good part in whatever he was doing. But he was not really in the mood to say anything, but as the guy asked if he wanted a bag or not Koray knew he would have to at least say no or yes.
"No, thanks." He then said trying to keep his face even and calm, along with his voice. Which to much success he keep it the same. Giving a small smile to at least show that he was being kind about saying no. Looking once more at the book, he must seem like a big, umm how should it be put. Hockey-nerd to get a biography out on a retired hockey player.
Running and hand through his hair, he shifted on his feet slightly. And then looked once more at the cashier. Who had very nice black hair. Oh why was he thinking of this.

Haruki took the eleven dollars, trying not to think about how beautiful the voice on this guy was. Those two words alone seemed to light a fire in his stomach. It was almost if an inner part of him was trying to tell him that he should recognize the voice.
Shrugging it off, he got the change, the receipt and the coupon and handed them to the customer. “31 cents is your change. Have a nice day.” He finally glanced at the supposed hockey fan, and froze. Golden brown hair that just touched his shoulder lightly covered the most gorgeous soft brown eyes Haruki had ever seen. He seemed to stand about six feet tall, similar to Haruki’s own six foot two inch frame, and he had an aura of defiance around him that, for some reason, made Haruki blush.
That in itself was strange. The ‘Adonis’ never blushed. He was always the one that had the upper hand on people, and yet this customer, with just one look, tore down the barriers he had constructed and perfected over the past year and a half.
Haruki tore his eyes away, and tried to calm his body down. For some reason, he had a strong attraction to the brunette. Glancing up subtly, he stuttered, “See you – um, I mean… well, bye.” He quickly grabbed the book to hide the blush quickly spreading over his face. Unfortunately, the book isn’t that big, so his face still showed on either side of it.

All Koray could really do was just nodded his head slightly, and give a small smile. Knowing that he would ins ome time be back here to get another book. But he never knew when he was going to be back, his mother would hardly let him out of the house. And he was lucky she was asleep right now, so that she did not know he was out and around town doing what ever he wanted to do.
When they guy said 'bye' he just smiled once more. Trying to be kind, "Bye." He said being kind as he turned to walk out the front door. He could not help but sneak one last glance through his hair at the guy. And the feeling he got down in his stomach just made him feel really, really odd. Which made him wondering what was truly going on with his body.
Holding the book at his side, he pushed open the front door to leave, his eyes on his feet once more. So that he did not have to look at anyone.

Haruki smiled when the customer said bye on the way out of the store. He could not help staring at the door, even after the boy had left. Something about that boy caused a shiver to run deep through Haruki’s body, and he was a bit worried about it. Could he have gone soft in a period of only five minutes?
Someone cleared their throat to his right, and he turned to see Bryan lower his book, a small smirk on his face. “See something you like?’ he inquired, nodding his head in the direction of the door.
Haruki crossed his arms in front of him, about to deny everything, when he saw a glint on Bryan eyes. Sighing, he sat back down in his chair. “I don’t know what that was. I found him cute, but he isn’t my type.”
“And which type would that be? Submissive?” Bryan asked.
“Exactly. He seems like a closet Dom to me.” Haruki stated, with a slightly saddened tone.
Bryan’s eyebrow rose. It seemed that Haruki, the ‘Adonis’ actually wanted someone - someone he thought he couldn’t have. Or so he thought. Bryan decided to look into this new guy. This might turn out to be good for Haruki.

Flipping through the page's slowly of the book, his eyes were caught by many pictures of fights that Rob Ray was in. Letting out a low snicker he shook his head, he admired the guy, but soon his thoughts tracked back towards the guy in the book store. There was something about him, just something that made him feel uneasy. Like, like he wanted to get to know him better.
'Why, do I want this?' he thought to himself and sat down on a bench near a quite park. Koray was happy that no one really was going to bug him, and let him just sit there in piece.
But then again, someone almost always finds a way to bug him. Even if he goes to a very quite place that no one knows of. Someone always seems to find it. sighing he opened the book once more starting to read it. Keeping his eyes on it he did not look up at all. Even if people looked at him, and made some rude comments.

Bryan watched as Haruki continued to squirm in his seat. Sighing, Bryan said, “I’m going to be in my office. Don’t bother me.” Receiving a nod from the nervous cashier, he retreated to his office, hell-bent on learning everything he could on this kid.
It just so happens that, while his dad’s side of the family was in publishing, his mom and her side of the family were all private investigators. Since both his parents wanted him to be a part of each of their families, he also went to school to be a private investigator. Now, he accessed the government documents through a pass code he was given when he finished his training period five years ago.
He spent the next twenty minutes looking through the boy’s past, but didn’t see anything strange. It did, in fact, list that the boy did not have a very good relationship with his mother, so Bryan deducted that the boy was most likely gay. But was he a seme or an uke?
Knowing that, in order to get the answer he would have to go find the boy, he left his office and store with not a glance from Haruki. It’s not strange that he would leave. His family often sent him on errands to find missing persons.
Clutching the boy’s address he headed towards his house. Five minute later, he passed by a park, but came to a stop when he realized that the boy was there. Stepping around a tree, he tried to talk himself into interacting with the boy. Bryan sighed again. What a man does for his friends…

Reading a few of the caption's and parts of the book that caught his eye. He ran a hand through his hair, as the wind slightly took it and blew it in his face. Looking up for a bit, he looked around, as if he felt like he was being followed. But then again, Koray always felt like he was being followed. Even if he was alone in his room, he felt like somone was standing there outside of the door, waiting for him to screw up at something.
Setting the book on his lap, he looked around once more as he fiddled with the sleeves of his sweater. Looking down at the picture that seemed to pop up at the page, he closed the book. His mind was not focused on the book, but on something else. Well not something else, someone else. And it confused Koray on why he was thinking about this someone. He had only just met him. Why was he thinking about him?
'Argh, this is so annoying.' He thought closing his eyes and shaking his head slightly. Hoping to clear his thoughts, but with his luck he would end up just thinking about the guy more. And what made Koray just be drawn to him.

Sighing one more, Bryan finally walked into the park, and planted himself bench, sitting as far from the boy as he could. He was not trying to seem suspicious. ‘But I seem suspicious anyway since I’m here, don’t I? Well, if he doesn’t remember me then I could just try to hook them up. Wait… since when did I become a matchmaker?’
Shaking his head, he turned to face the boy. He took in the semi-familiar golden brown hair and the light brown eyes. Subconsciously, Bryan realized that Haruki and this boy would make a good pair. They were already balancing each other out, in terms of looks.
“Hey,” Bryan said, trying not to seem too forward. If he scared the boy away, Haruki would be forced to continue with his monotonous sleeping around.

Hearing the voice next to him. Well the guy was not next to him, but he was close. In fact as Koray turne dhis head to look at the guy, he was sitting at the same bench as him. 'Oh great.' Was all he could think as he ran a hand through his hair not knowing what to do or what to say. Hardly anyone had spoken to him in years besides the quick greetings in stores and that was it.
"Umm, Hi." He said trying to act and sound friendly, giving a small smile. And at the slight movement of his head, his hair fell back into his face. Which made him blow at it in slight anger. But rolled his eyes shaking his head.
