Adish followed Kinome around like a love sick Zercan. If he saw anyone else acting the way he was... well, he probably would have laughed at them. But this is Kinome... So it's okay he reasoned. The dragonis walked behind the Human as they entered an empty room. He watched as Kinome moved and sat at a desk in the back of the room, staring out the window. Adish, however, didn't feel like sitting just yet. He walked slowly around the room, observing everything: posters, desks, books, etc.
"...Kinome.... where is everyone? Why are we the only people in here?"

Kinome turned to face Adish, looking very surprised to see him there. He was in fact surprised. A part of him had expected Adish to find someone better already. I mean there were several options Adish could choose standing outside. Several who would make far better company too.
Kinome shrugged, smiling wryly, hearing shocked murmurs he turned his gaze to the door, spotting a few spies who quickly moved away. They had been murmuring as a result of seeing Kinome smile. That was a rare occurrence. Kinome allowed his attention to return to Adish, lips quirked. “Well, the bell has yet to ring. Once it does class begins and everyone will come. Anyway…” He titled his head to the doorway where he knew the spies still remained. “There are a few people behind that door spying on us.”

Adish nodded in understanding at Kinome's explanation, then turned and looked at the door. "Really?... Do you want me to beat them up for you, Kinome? If they're getting on your nerves, I will if you want," he offered inocently, taking a step towards the door. He didn't really think it was such an odd offer, he had to beat people up for Eade all the time. When people started pestering his brother, Adish always stepped in and set things straight. He obviously has more brawn than brains... but I wouldn't put that by him.

Kinome chocked, releasing a soft gurgle as he leapt up, waving his hands. “No, no, no, no, no… You can’t do that. Why would you want to do that? They are only looking. Really, it’s okay.” Kinome sent Adish a puzzled look, wondering why the other had even thought to offer such a thing. If there was one hard lesson Kinome had managed to learn in his life, it was the violence was not the answer.

Adish blinked. "...Why not? If they're bothering you..." He sighed in defeat then sat down next to Kinome. "Fine. But the second someone starts getting on your nerves, you tell me, okay? If it makes you feel better, I promise I won't hurt them too bad," he said, not really understanding why Kinome was so puzzled by his statement.

Kinome had taken to scowling at Adish. "You know. That really isn't the way to live your life. Beating up other people just because they irritate you is wrong. True, there are circumstances where violence is unavoidable, if for instande you have to push someone who is attacking you off but violence is wrong and should be avoided at all costs. We have no right to hurt others like that... ever..."

Adish just stared at Kinome. He didn't really understand that. Well, he understood what Kinome said, he just didn't see that as true. He'd lived his life making sure people weren't bothering Eade. People would always pester him and tease him, make him feel bad about himself, and it was always up to Adish to protect him and make him feel better... even if their Mom didn't believe him.
"But... but...." He pouted a bit, confused, and looked up at a the Human infront him to show it. Why was Kinome mad? He'd just been doing what he's always known. "I... I didn't mean to make you mad... I'm sorry. It's just... When people bother Eade... I have to step in and... and make sure they go away before anything really serious happens." Adish lightly fingered the scar that ran across his chest. "I don't want anything to happen to you... Not like Eade, I'd hate that. I was just... I was just trying to help, I'm sorry......."

Kinome quirked an eyebrow at Adish. Pain coursed through him in remembrance. Remembrance of what a single day of violence could lead to. This pain was clearly visible in his eyes. “Things don’t always work out the way you would think they will. Violence breeds more violence which breeds death.” Kinome’s voice was rather monotone. “I would prefer it if you would refrain from protecting me.” The only visible emotion on Kinome’s countenance was a wince at the memories those words stirred to life. “It’s not the best thing to do. Doing so would probably get you more than just a scar.” Kinome’s gaze flew to the scenery outside the window. He could no longer stand to look in Adish’s confused gaze… no longer able to see himself in that gaze and the hurt he knew he was inflicting.

Adish stared sadly at Kinome. He couldn't believe any beings could hold so much pain by themselves. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to.... I was just trying to help," he said softly. He stood and moved around the desks, hugging the silver-haired boy tightly in an attempt to comfort him. "I'm sorry."

Kinome sighed in relief, letting Adish hug him. He wasn’t certain how it made him feel seeing as he was still trying to get used to the idea of affection but he guessed it wasn’t too bad a feeling. “It’s alright. Just don’t beat anyone up… alright? Two wrongs never make a right.”
Meanwhile the people peering in were gaping in shock. Kinome was talking to someone… Talking to someone and being ‘touched’ by someone. He was being ‘touched’ and wasn’t screaming? Who the hell was the new red-head?

Adish smiled up at Kinome and nodded. "Okay. I'll try my best!" he proclaimed. He grinned lightly and sat back in his seat to wait. After awhile, which wasn't really all that long, he just got bored sitting and not talking. "So... What are we supposed to learn here?" he asked, trying to start up a conversation and not look at the people peeking through the door at the same time.

Kinome shrugged. “A bit of everything I guess.” He muttered just before the bell rang and students flooded into the room, cutting Kinome’s response short. Kinome resumed staring out the window as the teacher in front began to teach.

Adish sat quietly and tried to pay attention to what the man at the front of the room was saying... but he just didn't understand. He had no idea what was going on. This is their learning? How mind numbing! he thought. He was kind of frustrated that he couldn't grasp what the man was saying. It wasn't that Adish was stupid... but it probably would have been easier for him to understand if he'd been here more than one day.
After many mind-dulling moments, a bell rang and all the students jumped up and left the room. Adish followed Kinome out into the hallway. "So, where do we go now?"

Kinome shrugged. "Next class." That said he led the way. this continued all the way through till lunch. When lunch time arrived, Kinome grabbed Adish's hand and dragged him off to the library, pointedly ignoring the stares they were receiving from all those that knew Kinome and his antisocial behavior.

Adish grinned widely when Kinome took his hand. "Where are we going now? For lunch, right? Where do we go for that?" he asked excitedly. It was the one thing he'd been looking forward to since they got there... He'd forgotten to eat breakfast.
The dragonis had noticed that all through the morning people had been staring them and whispering. Was it so weird to see Kinome with someone? Adish thought back to when they had first met and thought that maybe it was for them.
