Cleon sighed sadly when an uncomfortable expression appeared on the red head's face, blaming it on the cold. He brushed Pheonix's damp hair out of his face, realizing that the cloth had gotten warm. Carefully, so as not to wake him, he took the cloth off his forehead and climbed out of bed. He was back with the now cool cloth quickly and was by his mate's side in no time.

It was quite awhile later before Pheonix woke again. Cleon was still beside him, the cloth cool on his head. The other boy must've gotten out of bed to get it for him. He was groggy and wondered if Cleon had any younger brothers. He couldn't quite remember through the haze in his mind.
"Cleon," he croaked and cleared his throat. "Do you...do you have any younger brothers with golden eyes? I know you told me all about them but I don't remember..." He swallowed and licked his dry lips, waiting for the fever to break. He was a bit warmer now so it would be breaking soon.

That was an odd question. Well, an odd time to ask such a thing at least. Cleon shook his head, his face showing a little of his confusion. "No, I am the youngest in my family," he answered. "And... none of them have golden eyes," he said thoughtfully. He tilted his head curiously. "Why do you ask?"

He frowned and closed his eyes, not tired anymore, but trying to conjure up an image of one of the little imps. "I don't know....because i dreamt of little boys with blue hair and golden eyes.....I don't know. It's kind of silly huh?" He sighed, remembering now that Cleon was the youngest. How stupid he must look if he couldn't even remember that....

He smiled, shaking his head. "No, it was just a dream," he assured him him. He thought a moment, and then grinned. "I bet you were you dreaming of our children!" he said excitedly. "Blue hair," he fingered his own hair, "and golden eyes," he said softly, touching the side of his mate's face gently.

"O..our children," he asked, eyes wide. Surely this was a dream and he was sicker than he had first thought. Boys didn't have children. "Wh...what do you mean?"

Cleon chuckled, blushing lightly. "Well, what I meant was our future children," he corrected himself, forgetting that he was supposed to tell Pheonix that he was going to be pregnant at some point in his life- that it really could happen. The idea of children had gotten him too excited. He started smiling happily again. "I can not wait until we have children. I love children, they are so cute and lively.... Do you want children?" he asked after a pause, wondering if maybe that was why the red head had questioned about children.

Pheonix blinked. "I'd love children but...Cleon..." He glanced sadly to the sheets. Maybe the other boy had gotten it all wrong if he wanted children.....there was no way he could provide them for him. "I'm....i'm a boy......boys don't have kids," he flicked his golden gaze back to his mate. Surely there was no way-eleven years of school had taught him that the male anatomy just didn't stand for it....how was he supposed to carry let alone.....concieve? That though made him blush since he hadn't really thought about doing that with Cleon yet....

"...What?" Cleon asked, looking at Pheonix like he was crazy. Then his eyes widened in realization and he silently cursed himself for forgetting. "Oh, Pheonix I forgot to tell you! I-I am sorry.... I knew I had to, but I just forgot you did not know because the fact that you were dreaming about who could one day be our children I-" He shook his slightly, smiling sheepishly.
"Sweetie, where I come from males can have babies because... well... except for maybe the one or two odd female, that is all we are. Males. Earth is the only different one out of all of us, with its females and all," he explained uncertainly, wondering if he had explained it alright. He had never done this before.... "So... see? You can have kids. If you want to," he smiled.

All males? Everyone on Cleons planet was male? He nodded, dazed just a bit, a hand going to his stomach. "So..so i can have your children?" At Cleons nod he smiled just a bit, feeling the fever start to break. Sweat broke out on his skin and he shifted uncomfortably beneath the covers. He'd like that...to have little Cleons with his eyes toddling around. "I think....I think that'd be nice...."

"Good," Cleon said happily. He squeezed Pheonix's hand gently, glad that that had gone so well. He pulled away a couple of the blankets when he saw the red head moving around. "Are you too warm now?" he asked.

Pheonix pulled himself furthur up on the pillows, his shirt now soaked in sweat, the sheets below him similar. "Yeah...my fevers gone now....i got really warm all of the sudden." And he felt better, save for being a little weak and having a small sore throat.

Cleon grinned. "Good," he said softly. He pushed away all the blankets now, only leaving the sheet across them. He also took the washcloth off Pheonix's forehead and placed it on the beside table. "Would you like to take a bath? ...Shower?" he suggested, seeing how sweaty the boy was and deciding he must feel gross. Being sweaty always made him feel gross. "A nice bath will make you feel better."

Pushing himself up, Pheonix grinned a bit. "A nice warm bath sounds good......it'll coll me down just a bit and I can wash off..." He used Cleon to get off the bed, testing his legs to see if they'd give out. He must've gained some strength back because he was able to stand. "Just...um....where's the bathroom?"

Cleon stood up. "Through that door," he said, pointing to a plain door near the door leading out into the hall. Only, it was in a different wall than that door. "There should be towels in there...." He wrapped an arm around his mate to lead him into the bathroom. It was small and plain, with a bathtub/shower and a small counter with a sink. He showed Pheonix how to turn the water on and off in the tub and how to change the temperature of the water. He left the warm water running for him. "And there are towels here, and shampoo and soap on the side of the tub," he smiled. "Have a nice relaxing bath, sweetie," he said, kissing his mate softly. He left soon after, closing the door behind him.
