"Eep!" Dami hadn't been paying attention and had almost dropped his precious mate when Gabriel had started waving about. Thank the stars for good reflexes..."Yeah. It's pretty nice," he said giving a half smile. "But...Um, if you're going to be riding on my back, can you try holding on...?"

Gabby blushed. "Sorry!" He wrapped his arms lightly around Dami's neck so he wouldn't choke the poor Wizard. "... Eh... Am I heavy? 'Cause I could walk if you want..." he offered.

Damijan actually laughed. "You? Heavy?? Not at all! I just didn't want to drop you," he replied before looking over at Jixin. "Heya, Jixin...Are we going to walk there, get a transport vehicle, or just...transport ourselves there?"
The older boy shrugged. "Let your mate pick."

Gabby tilted his head in question. "A 'transport vehicle'? Like a car?" he asked in confusion.

Jixin scratched his head and nodded, not really understanding. "Um...I'm not sure what a car is, but...these things are like mini-ships except they...float or hover and can't go above a certain height."

Dami and Jixin just shrugged. Slowly, the group began to work their way through the crowd of people. "...Well, we should be out of here soon."

Gabby nodded and hugged Dami lightly, not wanting to choke the him. He leaned his head against Dami's as they walked, keeping his eye out for new, exciting things to 'ooh' and 'awe' over.

Finally, they reached the entrance of the port and left it quickly. All sorts of people were rushing about when Jixin spoted a free vehicle. "Oh! Quick into that one!" he said, ushering them into it. While that might have been his own ship, the older Wizard still had to lodge it at the port and so was subjected to riding in the stupid transports everytime.
The man in front grinned, looking back. "Where to?" he asked with a rough tone.
Damijan answered as he slid into his own seat next to Gabriel. "0061 Ainavlys-nnep Street SE," he said, leaning back in his chair and smiling as he watched his mate.

Gabby smiled up at Dami before letting his eyes wander around the 'transport', taking in every detail. Once the vehicle... thing... started moving, Gabby latched onto Dami, wrapping his arms around his mate and holding on to him tightly.

Dami chuckled and ran his fingers through Gabriel's hair. "Are you scared?" he asked curiously. "Nothing will happen to us in this. It's safe. Trust me."

Gabby looked up at Dami and shook his head. "Nope, just felt like hugging you!" He snuggled into his mate and looked out at the passing land.

Dami looked over at Jixin who shrugged. Looking back over at his mate, he tapped his lips in thought. "Well, we all have our quirks. My liking to cook, being an example. It'd take too long to tell you about everyone...As for traditions, I can't really think of any in particular besides our yearly vacation with the entire family."
