Once everyone had a cup of hot cocoa, Gabriel led them upstairs to his room. He dropped down onto a beanbag chair and emptied his candy bag in front of him on the floor. Xander and Mandy did the same. And so the trading began...
"I'll give you three Tootsie's for a fun-sized Snickers."
"I'll trade you a Jawbreaker for that piece of coin chocolate!"
"I'll give you all of my M&M's for all of your Skittles!"

Damijan watched them trade their treats, amusedly. It remind him of when he had gone to Mentsiquar and had watched the people haggling on the streets. It was funny, but it also reminded him of some questions he had.
"What is this thing that you're doing...? That you were out there doing? If it's all fake, then...why?" he asked, genuinely curious. This was new to him, after all.

Gabriel stopped chewing a mouthfull of Nerds and stared at him. He swallowed quickly after a moment. "You mean... Halloween? Don't they have that where you're from? It's a holiday when people dress up and kids go from house to house and the houses have to give them candy. You've never heard of that before?"

Damijan shook his head a bit. "Not really. Although, in my household, it's probably a good thing. I don't think my mother could take it if he had to deal with all of us getting ready and running around the city." He paused for a moment before speaking again. "Candy is good though."

Mandy giggled. "Ain't that the truth?" Xander and Gabriel laughed.
"Come on, sit down with us!" Gabriel scooted his beanbag over so Damijan could sit between him and Mandy.
"Damijan... do you have a nickname or something? You're name is long and hard to say." Gabriel kicked Xander in the knee. "Ow! Hey! I was just asking!"

Damijan grinned and nodded. "Yeah...I know it's somewhat hard to say sometimes. Just call me Dami," he said as he moved to sit down in the space made for him.
"A friend of mine gave it to me when he had to say my name in a hurry before something on the stove exploded. I responded...And it's just been that way ever since." He shrugged and he glanced around them. "Are your names' your real names? Or are they just in nickname form already?"

Gabriel laughed. "Your oven exploded?" The pink-haired boy giggled happily. "My name's just Gabriel, but Xander calls me Gabe, and my sisters call me Gabby." Mandy quickly swallowed the candy in her mouth.
"My name's Amanda, but that's the name of the Prep Queen from Hades, so everyone just calls me Mandy." Xander grinned.
"I will beat the crap out of anyone that calls me by my real name. Alex or Xander is fine."
"Here, have some of my candy. I probably won't eat it all anyway," Gabriel offered to Dami before grabbing a candy bar and tearing into it.

Damijan nodded and smiled as he took the candy bar. He opened it and put a little into his mouth before his smile widened. "This is good!" he exclaimed.
He sat back for a moment before looking at their faces. They ate in silence for a moment or two before he noticed a few glances in his direction. He did feel a bit awkward, like an outsider...but he also could see their curiousity.
He put down a piece of candy and said, "Okay, ask whatever you want...Just...can I have a banadge first? My head is beginning to hurt..."

Gabriel gasped. "I'm so sorry! I completely forgot!" He jumped up and ran downstairs to his parents' bathroom, where all the medicine was kept and grabbed the things he thought they might need to fix him up. He snuck back upstairs so his parents wouldn't see him and closed the door to his bedroom as he entered. "Soo... who knows how to wrap head wounds?"

Dami looked at him with wide eyes before laughing. "You brought me here to heal me when you don't even no how to fix head wounds?" he asked, slightly laughing.
He quickly calmed down though and shrugged. "Do it however you want. I just want it to stop hurting a bit..."

Gabriel blushed. "Well... what was I supposed to do, huh? Leave you outside? Here, take this. It's pain reliever." He handed Dami a bottle of pills. "It should help." He left for a moment and came back with a damp towel in his hand. "I'll see if I can clean it up, okay?" The pink-haired teen plopped down behind the older boy and carefully lifted his hair to see the wound. He whistled softly at the sight. "Wow. That looks painfull," he mumbled before he started slowly and softly dabbing at it with the soft cloth.

Dami hissed slightly at the throbbing pain that came from the feeling and quickly downed the reccomanded pill amount without water. After Gabriel had finished cleaning it, he then begun to wrap it. A sigh escaped the youth with the slate colored hair and he smiled slightly. "Thank you," he murmured.
"So, first question?"

Mandy raised her hand excitedly. Xander raised an eyebrow at her. "...Wha..? Nevermind. Where's all these places you kept talking about? And... and... what'd you say that guy was?"

Damijan leaned slightly back into the feel of gabriel's hands before the smaller boy moved away and he grinned. "Eeearnt! Wrong! Sorry, that was two questions...No, I'm joking," he said at the strange looks he got.
"The last one I think was a very bad question though because I've said it many times by now. He was a Zercan. From Zerca," he said before elaborating a bit. "A cat-like person with cat-like feature and all...and can turn into a cat. Very strong with good nose too. That's a Zercan. oh, and they're from Zerca...Hence the name Zercans."

"What the heck is Zerca?" was all that Xander could seem to say. The other two nodded in aggrement, they wanted to figure out what was going on as well.
