Ruari thought it a bit odd, the boy showing him his personal things so soon in their meeting, but didn't comment on it. He just assumed it was the natural pull that had him trapped as well, the pull that made him feel as if he belonged to this boy and needed to be with him always.
Th question caught him off guard and he considered lying a moment before immediately coming to his senses. Mates did not lie to mates. "Zerca."

((You're back! I was starting to worry that you'd forgotten me!))
Sarandon frowned. "Zerca? Is that a city somewhere? I've never heard of it. What's it like, there?" He didn't know why he felt so comfortable with the other. He normally was so wary of strangers! "Is the weather better than here, at least?"

"Sure is," he said easily, brushing the curtain back to peek outside. Not elaborating with question he was answering. "Won't your parent's think it's a bit odd... you bringing a man home ... or do you do that often?" Rage tore through him at the mere thought.
(sorry, r/l hassles)

"Oh we all have friends over all the time. As long as she knows how many places to set at the table, maman will not boject to your presence," he told him. "That you're a bit older than me doesn't really matter. And my father will hardly notice. He'll probably think that you're a friend of one of my older brothers."

Ruari didn't like that very much, it implied that his mate had had men over before... and, well, need he say more there? He didn't let his jealousy get in the way, however, just continued to stand there, staring at the boy intently. Still, he couldn't help but let out - "You're very pretty ... I not sure I like all these people coming around you."

"You think I..." He blushed bright red. "Not friends like that. Friend friends. You know, like hanging out..." He looked a bit nervous. That comment was... odd. Even if it made him feel all fluttery inside and wanting to cuddle this stranger. "I've never... I mean..." He was flustered. "Even if I wanted to have people over like that, there's no privacy in this house. Everyone would hear and my parents would be mad."

"Why would they be mad over something so natural?" He asked, genuinely confudes, not that he wanted this boy to have others over ... but he didn't understand why having another male over would be against the rules. Then it occured to him! "Ah! I understand, they do not wish you to have those kind of friend as they are saving you fro your mate, yes?"

"Um, well, it's partially that," he answered. "But it's also that two men aren't allowed to be together in that way. It's not right. It's a perversion of God's plan for us. And it's the reason Armand isn't allowed to come home anymore." The last part he said in a small, sad voice.

Ruari was momentarily aghast, staring at the youth of whom he was certain had a bond to him. He barely even blinked, much less thought, before he found himself pressing his lips against the boys in a hard, demanding, yet passionate kiss. He would teach the boy that there was nothing amiss with two men together.

Sarandon madeasmall sound of surprise. His body wanted nothing more than to press against Ruari's, submitting to him. Instead he pushed him away. "I... You have to leave now," hemurmured, not daring to look up.

Ruari was confused. He knew this boy was his mate and yet... "You are my mate. You are mine! I will not leave without you," he stated instead, solemnly.

"But..." He looked pained. "You don't understand. This is wrong. And I couldn't do that to my parents. Especially not after Armand. They depend on me." He looked away. "Please understand. I.... I can't be your mate."

Ruari stood stunned once more, eying his mate with something akin to grief. Thsi sadness soon turned into righteous anger as a growl filled the room. "You ARE mine, Sarrandon," he said in a low voice, moving even closer to the boy. "And you WILL come with me or I will take you myself> I wish not to cause you grief, but if that is what you require to be with me always, then it will be so."

"But... My family." He steeled himself. "No. You have to leave. Now. I... I don't even know you." He got up off the bed, a little frightened by the growl. "Please leave me alone."

The red headed man stood with him, taking his arm in his hand. "I meant what I said, beautiful ... you are mine and I will keep you," his voice was not threatening just the steel calm of someone who meant what they said.
This boy was what he was born for, who he was living for and now that he had found him ... it truly hurt him that his mate wouldn't want to be with him and mate's should be together.
