It would hard for the half-breed to make him any more nervous than he already was, though. The closer they walked towards the house, the more butterflies, it seemed, flew into his stomach. Audley found out that no matter how many times he told himself it was going to be okay... he was still nervous.
The brothers' mom being eccentric didn't help. He wasn't exactly used to that kind of person, and hoped he would not act too... uncomfortable around the man.
Audley licked his lips nervously. It seemed like they were almost there.
((Sorry it's so short ^^; ))

Cameron had never realized that a few blocks could be such a far walk until now. But, whenever they finally did come upon the house, tucked away in a more residential part of the city, he paused for a second to give the fancy, two-story home a peculiar look. He had figured his mother would've been outside at the gate just waiting for them. It was odd that he wasn't there. His father must have dragged the excitable Zercan back inside to make him wait.
"This is it," Cameron mumbled to his mate, stepping forward to push open the little iron gate. Once they had all filed inside, he pushed it shut again and started up the little walk-way to the front door. But, before he had made it to the house, the door swung open.
"Cameron!" His mother was out of the door quickly, descending the few stairs down from the front porch to quickly walk over to them. The short brunette stopped in front of his eldest son and immediately turned his attention away from him to look at Audley. He gave the Majikadai boy a quick look before he smiled, obviously pleased, "Oh, I'm so happy! I can't believe Cameron's actually found his mate!"
"And what's so unbelieveable about it?" Cameron asked quietly, looking back to his mother. But, the Zercan just shook his head.
"Well, you weren't exactly so eager to go out and find a mate whenever I asked you about it," He sighed, shaking his head. The older man looked back to Audley, pleasant look returning to his face, "I'm Abel Ainsworth, his mother. Who are you?"

Audley smiled, feeling slightly less nervous when Cameron's mother smiled approvingly at him. That definately shooed some of those bothersome butterflies away. He watched the mother and son interact a moment before Abel introduced himself to Aud.
The Majikadai smiled- a small nervous smile. "I'm Audley Bohdan... though, now that Cameron and I have found eachother I suppose I should start introducing myself as Audley Ainsworth, hm?" he said softly. "It's nice to meet you, Abel."

Abel looked exceedingly pleased with Cameron's mate, as if it took everything he had not to just hug the boy. In fact, that was probably the case. But, Cameron's father had already warned him to stay on his best behavior, which included no random hugging and straying away from any embarrassing subjects. He couldn't exactly understand why he'd been forbidden to act normally, though. What was wrong about being excited to meet your new son-in-law?
"It's nice to meet you, too," Abel smiled before turning to call back to someone through the open front door, "Tristan, hurry up!"
"I'm coming. Calm down," A few seconds after the reply was given, the Zercan's mate stepped outside and pulled the door shut behind him, walking casually towards the group without the energetic 'bounce' that his mate had approached them with a few moments earlier. He stopped beside Abel and slid an arm around his waist out of habit, looking from his sons to Audley, giving the lavender-haired teen a small smile.
"Isn't he cute?" Abel looked up at the black-haired incubus, smile still present on his face. The other just looked to his excited mate with a small laugh before looking back to Audley again.
"Tristan Ainsworth," He introduced himself quietly, "It's nice to meet you."
((Sorry it took so long. xx; The window shut itself halfway through writing up my reply the first time...))

Audley fingered the hilt of his sword again. There was that word again. "Cute". He still didn't think he fit in that category, but his new family didn't seem to think so.
The Majikadai smiled at Tristan. Cameron's father seemed much more calm than Abel. Being around him was going to be easier, at least at first. Once he got used to the Zercan's carefree ways he was sure he would be comfortable around him too.
"It's nice to meet you too... Tristan," Aud said softly. The teen fiddled with the hilt of his sword some more. What was he suppposed to say now??
((I hate when stuff like that happens >_< You lose everything you just wrote!))

"So, how did you two meet, anyway?" Abel asked, curiosity finally bubbling over. There we just so many questions to ask...
"I was taking a walk in the forest and we ran across each other," Cameron explained, purposefully leaving out the part where his mate had saved him from the animal that had been stalking him. His mother would have had a heart attack if he told him about that. Already, though, the Zercan gave his oldest son a scowl.
"The forest? Isn't that kind of a dangerous place to take a walk?" He mumbled, but Cameron shrugged slightly, brushing the question off.
"Can we go inside? It's kind of odd to just.. stand out in the lawn and have a big discussion," He asked, but before Abel could bother his son over his choice of where to take a walk, Tristan had already turned and started back inside, his arm still around the shorter brunette. Cameron followed, Keiran and Aden quietly filing in behind them. Once inside, he looked around, thankfully not spotting anyone. Though, it was easy to hear a bit of chatter coming from upstairs. A few of his relatives had probably decided to stay behind to help clean up about the home. It appeared, though, that the majority of them were upstairs and the others were elsewhere on the first floor.
"Sorry if it's a bit messy," Tristan mumbled, moving from the little hallway to the living room. The room was spacious, enough to hold quite a few people at one time. It had a nice look to it, if one overlooked the few reamining glass cups sitting about on the tables and other various surfaces.

Audley shook his head. "Oh no, it's fine," he muttered distractedly. This house was huge! There was so much space and all the furniture looked so fancy. Not to mention there were stairs. They didn't build stairs in their tree homes- just having ladders if they needed more than one level. The teen looked around with wide, intrigued eyes.
"Your home is so big," he whispered. "It's really nice, I like it," he complimented, smiling at Tristan and Abel. "Should I take my shoes off?" he asked suddenly. "I'm getting your floor all dirty," he said apologetically.

"Don't worry about the floor," Cameron laughed, scanning the carpet, "You can't do any more damage than everyone at the reunion did today. One or two more sets of footprints won't hurt it."
"Oh, this isn't our house, either. It's our grandparents'. We just came here for a family reunion," Keiran explained, walking across the living room to sit down at one of the chairs. Cameron followed, though sat down on a two-person seat facing the larger couch where his parents and Aden placed themselves. Keiran continued, leaning forward to push a few of the stray cups in his reach off to the side of the table, "Our house isn't this fancy or big. Not even close."
"My apartment's fancier," Cameron rolled his eyes playfully, "But the house has got it beat on size. Only by a bit, though."
"Oh, be quiet. Our house isn't as bad as you're making it out to be," Their mother mumbled defensively, a small pout momentarily on his lips. But, it faded quickly as Abel returned to his questioning, "So, are you going to be coming back to Zerca with us?"

Audley nodded at Keiran. That made sense. He should have known they all lived on Zerca. The teen followed Cameron to the loveseat, but undid the sheath around his waist and laid it on a clear spot on the table carefully. Sitting down with that around his waist would be very uncomfortable.
When the family started bickering about their houses playfully he smiled softly. "Hm, maybe," he answered his mother-in-law. "I might be. I have to say good-bye to my grandparents and my brothers... and my nephews," he answered. "And I have to talk with the Leader, too. He needs to know I'll be leaving and I need to know if he approves of me leaving. His opinion is important to me, but I can't let Cameron live in my village. He isn't used to that kind of environment. So... living on Zerca is probably likely," he continued quietly.

The other's answer only seemed to brighten the Zercan up even more when Audley confirmed that he would most likely head to Zerca with them. He wouldn't have been at all opposed to his son staying on Jeskara, if that's what he wanted, but it would have undoubtedly been a bit sad only seeing his son a few times a year when they decided to visit. He was clingy when it came to his sons and it was hard to be clingy when your eldest son lived on an entirely different planet than you.
"It would be wonderful if you lived on Zerca," Abel smiled, "I would assume you would be living with Cameron in Scrijx Citi. If so, we would get to see you two a lot. We only live about an hour away from it. I can't wait..."
Indeed, it outwardly appeared like he couldn't wait. One would have been hard-pressed to find someone as excited as the brown-haired Zercan at that point in time. In a way, it was sort of amusing, but in another way--at least, for the three brothers--it was a bit embarrassing, especially for Cameron. Suddenly thinking of something, Abel turned to his mate.
"We're going to be grandparents soon, aren't we?" He mumbled, subdued delight shining in his eyes. Across the room, Keiran laughed aloud. Cameron, on the other hand, rolled his eyes. Tristan gave his mate a strange look, accompanied by a sigh.
"I think you're getting a bit ahead of yourself, 'Bel," He said quietly.
"Told you he say it," Keiran called to his brother with a grin.

Audley smiled softly at Abel's delighted comment to his mate. Mentioning children again made him excited as well. He never thought himself as the parenting type before so it was kind of strange. Though he shouldn't have been surprised after the many afternoons or days he spent with his nephews; constantly worrying about them and just enjoying being around them. He definitely liked children, the Majikadai finally realized. That thought made him wonder how many children they would have. Cameron seemed to think it was too early to think about that... so did Tristan. Maybe it was to early to seriously think about children. That didn't mean he couldn't idly daydream about having a few little boys running around wildly like his nephews did sometimes.
It would still be at least five or six months before any babies would be around, though. They had to remember the part where he was pregnant! Aud wondered how it felt to be pregnant. He knew it would be hard to get around, and he would definitely not be to fight. Though if he live in the city, why would he need to? What was he going to do on Zerca if there was nothing for him fight for? The teen started to become a little nervous. In his village he was always busy with finding food or watching out for predators, or watching his nephews, etc. There was always something to do. None of that stuff could be done in Scrijix....
Since he couldn't very well fiddle around with his sword at the moment, his fingers started twirling the fur making up the collar around his neck. The action didn't really soothe him, but it gave him something to do while he pondered his future.

"I'm not getting ahead of myself!" Abel sighed, rolling his eyes at the incubus, "It's perfectly normal for them to have children!"
"You make it sound like I think they shouldn't ever have children," Tristan replied calmly, "I'm not saying that. I mean that they just met."
"So? What about it? It's not like they just met on the street and decided to live together for kicks. They're mates, so there's nothing wrong with them thinking about having children, even if they did just meet each other," The Zercan nodded, completely sure of his reasoning. Though, he wrinkled his nose slightly when he did realize something, "Cameron will just have to get a new job, but that won't be a problem for him."
"I guess you have a point," Tristan finally conceded.
"How about you leave this discussion for Aud and I to have?" The half-breed suggested, not sure whether to be slightly embarrassed or slightly irritated at the mention of his job. He decided on irritated, "And definitely let me worry about my job on my own. Money isn't a problem. I make more than enough to support a mate and a child on my own."
Though, he supposed that his mother did sort of have a point. Looking into getting a new job would probably have to be considered sometime in the near future. It wouldn't be that gratifying on his image as a wonderful father if his child had to tell everyone 'My dad works at a nightclub'. Not to mention that the boy would probably be picked on for it. That was definitely not an ideal situation. Even though the thought of a conventional job made him cringe on the inside, it would be for the best.
"I guess the majority wins on the 'too soon to have children debate', hm? Not that I was all that opposed to it in the first place," Cameron slipped an arm around his mate's shoulders, "Besides, it wouldn't be that pleasant to have Mom calling all the time asking if you're pregnant yet."
"I would not call all the time like that," Abel argued, indignant. Aden finally decided to join in the conversation, giving his mother beside him a strange look.
"You would, too," He mumbled, "You already call Cameron and check on him one or twice a week."
"I can't help it that I'm worried about him," The brunette mumbled, "Scrijx is a big city. Something could happen to him and I don't know what I would do if something happened to any one of you."

Audley hesitated a moment before relaxing against the other's side. It wasn't that he wasn't comfortable with his mate, it was just that-again-he wasn't use to this intimacy. He admitted that he really liked it though, now that he was introduced to it.
The Majikadai wondered what Cameron's job was. It didn't seem like his mother approved of it too much because he said he needed a new one. He would have to ask him about it later. For now, they were with family.
"Aren't you part Zercan?" Aud commented. "So... when we um...," he paused, blushing lightly. "I will become pregnant right away, won't I? Or... are we going to wait? Um, hm, we should probably talk about this later," he said embarrassedly, his face a bright bright red. This was not something he should have started talking about in front of so many people. They probably thought him very odd right about now.

"You know, I had forgotten about that," Cameron mumbled, "I guess that's true, isn't it?"
That little fact had completely slipped the half-breeds mind as he worried about a multitude of other things. He felt a bit foolish for forgetting such an important little detail. But, it was true. He didn't really consider waiting an option. Perhaps he was just a bit overly paranoid and protective, but he didn't want to take his mate back to Zerca unclaimed for long. That was a risk he didn't care to take, even if it wasn't that likely that something bad would happen.
"Yeah, we should probably talk about this later," He agreed, laughing quietly when he noticed just how bright his mate was blushing. But, as embarrassed as he was, none of the others in that room seemed even the least bit affected, save for Aden, who only shifted uncomfortably in his seat. It was hard to phase a family filled with half-incubi with such discussions anyway.
"Well, we can save the rest of the questions for later," Tristan said at last, standing up. Abel opened his mouth to protest but shut it again as he was gently pulled from the couch, "We've got to start getting ready to leave. When you two are ready, we'll be waiting for you at the docks."
Cameron nodded as his parents left the room, his mother waving over his shoulder briefly. Keiran was up next, pulling Aden off the couch as he passed, and towards the door. Once the rest of his family was gone, the half-Zercan looked to his mate with a smile.
"Well, now we have some time to kill. I thought that Mom would spend at least an hour asking questions," He looked towards the kitchen briefly, then back to Aud, "Are you hungry or anything? There was a lot of stuff catered here today for the reunion, but I'd be willing to bet most of it is sitting in the refridgerator untouched now."

Audley nodded. "That sounds good," he answered, standing up with Cameron. He grabbed his sword and quickly tied it around his waist again. The walk to the kitchen was short and quiet, there not being very much to say. Aud was surprised that they spent so little time together, but if they were going to be living on the same planet he supposed they would have plenty of chances to talk.
Cameron started telling and showing him the foods in the fridge. It was all very tasty looking and everything, but there was something the Majikadai needed to know. "Um, Cameron?" he interrupted softly. "Does your family expect us to leave with them... tonight?" he asked uncertainly. "They said they will be waiting for us at the docks...."
