"Sounds great to me," Cameron agreed, giving the others a smile. Right. He'd almost forgot that he still had a few of his mate's family members to meet. That thought made him a bit nervous again. He had seemingly earned the approval of Aud's grandparents and one of his brothers, but he still had another brother, brother-in-law, and some nephews to meet. He only hoped he managed to make a leave a good impression of himself with them, as well.
"I'll contact my parents in a little bit, then, and tell them where we are," He nodded, though briefly wondered in his phone would even have service out in the middle of the forest. The brunette hoped it did, at least. Having his mother worrying about him being lost somewhere on another planet would have been absolute hell.

Isidore stood up, gathering their plates and glasses. "Good, good," he murmured. Nicholas nodded in agreement. They weren't exactly sure how the boy was going to contact his parents, but if he had a way they were happy. It was good that he was close enough to his parents to call to assure them he was alright.
Audley's grandmother sat back down. "Well then, you two must be tired. Rhys, would you give your bed up for Cameron?"
The young man nodded. "Of course. But let me remind you two that this is not your own home, and not your own bed."
"Rhys!" Aud complained, blushing a light pink.
"He is right, though," Nicholas commented. "You are aware of this, Cameron? You will wait-"
"Grandfather, we are grown ups and we know what is right and wrong!" the teen put in, not blushing madly. He could tell the other two were having fun with him. The amusement was in their eyes.
"We just have to make sure, Audley. Right Cameron?" Aud's brother asked, looking at his brother-in-law.

The half-Zercan laughed as his mate was teased by his grandfather and older brother. Of course, the comment was slightly embarrassing, but Cameron had found it more amusing than anything. By the light blush on Audley's face, though, he assumed that the other didn't think of it as such. Regardless, he nodded, still having a smile on his lips.
"Don't worry about me. I'll behave myself," He laughed. He gave a look to his mate, unable to resist poking a bit of fun at the younger boy as well, all in good fun, "And I'll make sure Aud behaves, too. One of us has to be the responsible one, hm?"

Audley blushed even darker and wished he weren't. This was just as bad as talking aobut it in front of Cameron's family! Maybe even worse because he wasn't used to his family being so... personal. His grandmother looked a bit uncomfortable too. That might have been because his youngest grandchild now had a mate though, and thinking about him having sex in the next room was just too weird for him.
"Yes, and I'm sure you will be very responsible," Aud answered sarcastically. He couldn't think of anything else to say. "Anyway, there are two seperate beds. It would be impossible."
Rhys opened his mouth to object but shrugged. Isidore spoke up instead. "Yes, well, we are all tired so why don't you two go the boys' room? Good night," he said, smiling at the new couple.
"Night Grandma, Grandpa... Rhys," Audley told to his family. Nicholas and Rhys nodded their good nights and the lavender haired boy stood up, waiting for his mate. "Oh, um, are you ready? I should have asked if you were actually tired," he said suddenly.

"I am very responsible," Cameron added after the rest of his mate's family had exchanged 'Good nights' and left. He stood up as well, leaning over to place a quick kiss on the other's cheek, "Don't worry; I've been tired ever since we landed on Jeskara. But before we go to bed, I need to go outside for a minute to call my parents and tell them where I am. It'll just take a second, if I can even get through to them."
The brunette backtracked through the rooms and quietly slipped out of the front door, pulling the cell phone out of his pocket and flipping it open. He looked at the little gauges on the screen with a sigh before entering in a few numbers and pressing it to his ear. It rang once or twice before the service fizzed out again. After trying again with much the same result, he slipped it back into his pocket and gave up. Well, they would certainly figure out where he was on their own even if he couldn't reach them and even if they didn't, there wasn't any way they would be left behind.
He left himself back inside as quietly as he could, giving the place one more good look before he returned to his mate. He really did like the little home. It wasn't like any home he'd ever been in before, but it still had that 'home-y' feeling about it.
"I couldn't get to them, but it should be alright," He smiled, grabbing one of Aud's hands to thread his fingers with the other's, "I'm ready now. Where's the room?"

Audley nodded in understanding, smiling at his mate as he left. It took all his will power not to sneak after the other boy to make sure he was safe. Cameron could take care of himself, but besides that he was only going out on the porch. The teen tapped his foot worriedly. How long had it been? Fifteen minutes? More like fifteen seconds actually... but in his mind it was definately minutes. What was taking Cammy so long??
The Majikadai smiled when he saw his mate wander back into the room. He squeezed the other's hand gently, happy he was okay. (Even if there wasn't anything to worry about.) "Right over here," he said softly, leading him over to one of the doors and then inside the room.
It was small inside the room- big enough for two twin beds and a low, long dresser under the single window though. There were shelves along the walls over the beds that had books and pictures and anything else the boys would want on there. Anything else that couldn't be placed in the dresser, on the dresser, or on the shelves went under the beds. In the middle of the room, between the beds was a big round throw rug that had the same brownish-gold material as the comforters on the beds.
Audley blushed lightly. "I-it isn't much, but it is all we need so...," he said quietly. "You can sleep on Rhys' bed," he added, pointing to the bed on the right. "His bed is a little softer I think, but I like sleeping on a firm mattress.... But if you like firm you can sleep on my bed and I'll sleep on my brother's," he continued, realizing he was now rambling and it made him blush a bit more.

Cameron studied the room as soon as they stepped inside, liking this room just as well as the others they had been in. As small as it was, it was almost as big as his own bedroom and quite a bit more decorated than his own. He'd hardly ever bothered to put anything up in his room besides the obligatory bed, a bedside table, and a cordless phone. It wasn't like he actually spent much time in his bed room, anyway. He was always out of a night working and when he did come back home, he usually fell asleep on the sofa because he was simply too tired and lazy to get up and relocate himself.
"Don't worry about it. I'll take your brother's bed," He smiled at his mate, placing a quick kiss on his cheek before walking over to sit down on the bed. The idea of sleep was quite appealing after such a long, but amazing, day. It was almost like he could feel himself struggling to keep his eyes open as soon as he'd made contact with the comforter.
"It's just too bad that both of us probably wouldn't be able to fit on one of these beds without one of us falling off in the middle of the night," He mused aloud, yawning as he kicked off his shoes and started pulling the jacket off of his shoulders.

"Mhm," he agreed, slipping of his own shoes and jacket as well. Of course he was blushing lightly. Aud found he was blushing a whole lot the last few hours. He didn't even know why he blushing this time. Cameron promised they wouldn't do anything, and sleeping in the same bed wasn't wrong. They were mates!
"Would you like to wear a pair of Rhys' night clothes?" he asked, going through his own side of the dresser. He pulled out a shirt and pants before looking over at his mate. "They should fit." Nodding to himself he went through his brother's drawers and handed Cameron a shirt and pants before he could answer.
"If we turn... um... we can both change in here," he murmured, fingering the pajama t-shirt he had just picked up. "I mean, uh, well, we don't have to turn but if you were more comfortable, um, with turning than... we could," he ended lamely. Obviously after that incident in the woods Cameron wasn't embarrassed with being undressed. Audley couldn't say the same about himself though.

Cameron found the pair of clothes in his hands before he could answer, not able to hold back a quiet laugh at the other as he continued. When he'd finished asking his preferences on how to change, he gave the other a smile.
"Do you have any idea as to how cute you are?" He laughed again, shaking his head. The way he saw it, the question wasn't really a question. The way the Majikadai boy had blushed so hard when he'd handed him his clothes in the forest earlier made it clear what they would do. Even though the brunette honestly didn't mind and even though it was quite endearing to see the younger boy blush so hard, he stood up again and turned to face the wall.
"I won't look," He called, already working to pull off the t-shirt. After pulling the shirt his mate had handed to him, he inspected it, satisfied with how well it fit him. The half-Zercan looked over his shoulder at the other when he was finished, giving him a teasing wink, "You don't have to turn if you don't want to. I don't mind."

Audley jumped and blushed some more. He had been caught staring! And him being the one that wanted to look away in the first place. Well, you couldn't blame him. Cameron was very handsome... and they were mates... but the other boy promised not to look so now he felt bad.
Turning around quickly he changed into his pajamas faster than he ever had before. Being incredibly embarrassed had something to do with that. "I-I'm done, are you all done?" he asked after a pause where he was getting rid of that annoying pesty blush.

The way the boy jumped put another amused smile on the half-breed's face. It really didn't take much to embarrass the boy, did it? But that wasn't really a bad thing. It was cute when he blushed and stammered around on his words. In fact, it took everything the older boy had not to just hug him whenever it happened. True to his word, the older male didn't sneak any looks at the other while they changed. He had just finished pulling on the pants just before Aud had asked if he had finished changing.
"Yeah. It's safe to look again," The half-Zercan confirmed with a smile, folding up the clothes he'd just changed out of and laying them neatly on the floor behind the bed. When he was finished, he strolled back over to the other, giving him a brief hug and one last kiss for the night.
"Good night," He whispered as he pulled back, a bit unwilling to return to his side of the room at the moment. But once he had managed to reluctantly return to the softer bed, he pulled the covers over himself, closed his eyes, and finally laid down. Though, he couldn't help not being able to fall asleep right away, despite how tired he really was, with how compelled he was to open his eyes now and then to peer over at his mate.

Audley was just as reluctant as the other boy was. It was there first night together... and they could even fit in the same bed. The teen sighed softly as he curled up under the covers, laying on his side and facing Cameron. For awhile he just laid there, staring at the half Zercan. Unlike his mate he couldn't help himself.
After awhile though his eyes started drifting shut and he fell into a light sleep. He wasn't sure how long it had been, but Aud woke up suddenly to a noise. Now that he was awake he wasn't sure what the noise had been, or where it came from- or if it was even real. His first instincts were to check out the window though. As quietly as he could, the teen looked out the window. Nothing.
That wasn't enough to make him feel any calmer though. His mother was killed by a beast jumping through the window.... Audley didn't want anything to happen to his mate. Maybe it was an irrational fear, but it was a fear and well- anyone would worry for their mate, right?
When he heard another squeaky noise the Majikadai jumped. That was it. Aud knealed next to his mate. He pulled the blanket up some more and kissed the other boy's cheek softly. He couldn't sleep now, with those stupid noises. If something were to happen, he needed to be prepared.

The brunette hadn't ever been much of a heavy sleeper. While he was usually able to sleep through little noises, any sound that was a bit on the loud side would wake up him. But, touch had always been more of his thing. Unlike those who had to be shaken for a moment to wake them up, usually a little prod would get him to open his eyes. So whenever Aud's lips touched his cheek, the soft touch caused him to slowly open his eyes, drowsily settling looking at the younger boy.
"S'm'thin' wrong?" He muttered, still half-asleep. Once he deemed himself conscious enough, he pushed himself up into a sitting position. Scanning the room for any sign of danger, Cameron looked back to Aud when he couldn't find anything out of place.

Cameron was waking up. He felt bad for making him wake up. Audley shook his head, blushing lightly. "No, nothing's wrong," he said softly. The other's sleepiness made him smile though. He sounded so funny! It was cute, but he didn't say so because he knew Cameron wouldn't want to be called cute.
"Sorry for waking you," he said embarrassedly, standing slowly. "I... heard a noise and I just wanted to make sure you were okay," he murmured.

"No need to apologize," The older male smiled, reaching out to take the other's hand. Uanble to reach the other now that he was standing, he settled for placing a quick kiss on the back of Aud's hand. Honestly, he hadn't minded a bit to be woken up. To be disturbed from his sleep by his shy little mate kissing his cheek was all worth it. It was much too sweet to have been passed up.
"You should get back to sleep. I have a feeling it'll be a long day tomorrow," He gave the younger boy's hand one more quick kiss before he released it, "I'll be okay, so just try to get some rest."
