Kaden gently squeezed Akira's hand and brushed his thumb lightly over the Sensaforian's knuckles as they walked. "If you want to stop and look at anything, just say so, alright?" he said. He was still imagining what different kinds of tattoos Akira could possibly want. He knew about the butterfly, already, and he wondered what else the boy would get, if he did. Kaden had some of his own, all Jeskaran's did, after all, but he doubted that Akira would get anything like that.

"Okay," Akira answered.

Kaden nodded before sighing softly. There were so many people around here, all yelling and/or running around for this or that, and it was starting to make Kaden nervous. He had to admit that he was rather protective of Akira, but he knew the boy was so sweet and naive, so easily giving his trust to the first person to ask for it, and Kaden didn't want him hurt.

While walking, Akira glanced up at the sky briefly. It was an unconscious thing he always did, nothing unusual. But what he saw was, and he looked up again and stopped in the middle of the sidewalk. The sky was clearer than anything he had ever seen before. The stars sparkled brightly against the dark sky. It was beautiful. There were no clouds on Jeskara, he remembered. Because there was no rain from the lack of sun.
"The sky is so beautiful here," he murmured.

Kaden grinned and nodded, looking up at the sky. "It is," he stated. He moved to stand behind Akira, wrapping his arms around the other's waist as they both looked up. "Much better than Sensaforia, hm? No sun to block out the beautiful stars...," he mumbled. He had missed Jeskara's sky while he was on Sensaforia, he was so glad to be home... even if he was only gone for two days...

Akira placed his hands on Kaden's. He smiled softly. "They're both beautiful in their own way, I think," he murmured. Suddenly he coughed and pulled away. Something that really didn't need to be bubbling up in stomach... was. Lust. He looked around slightly, noticing some sounds coming from the alley they were standing near and some shadows that made him assume there were people back there.
"Kaden, let's go home. I want to go home," he said softly, trying to block out everyone's emotions and feelings even though he knew he couldn't. He started walking back the way they came.

Kaden glanced around, where Akira's eyes had been previously, and nodded, not saying a word. He kissed his mate's temple lovingly and wrapped an arm around his waist as they walked back. "Are you feeling alright? I'd give you a cigarette, but I forgot to ask for some before," he explianed softly.

Akira shivered under his mate's innocent touches. "I'm fine," he managed to say, his eyes closing. Then he shook his head and pulled away. If Kaden kept touching him, he was going to do some very embarrassing things. Plus, it was harder to get rid of those kind of thoughts when around his mate. "I just want to go home, and maybe do some cleaning," he said softly.

Kaden frowned, pouting slightly. "Can I at least hold your hand without you shying away?" he asked softly. He knew Akira was having trouble with his emotions, but the Incubus was feeling rather protective of his mate, especially with the boy acting so strangely, and wanted to be touching him in some way.

Akira was about to make up some excuse, but couldn't bring himself to do it. No matter what he was going through, Kaden was his mate and that mattered more than anything. "Okay," he murmured. He grabbed his mate's hand lightly. When he relived the light touches only served to make him more uncomfortable, he tightened his grasp. It made him feel better, made it easier to control stupid emotions, and probably made Kaden feel better as well. Or he hoped so.

Kaden smiled, squeezing his mate's hand lightly. "When we get back to the room... Do you really plan on cleaning?" he asked, sounding almost worried, but mostly skeptical. He could tell, sort of, what Akira was feeling, since they were mates, but he didn't want to jump to conclusions and make the boy mad at him. He did, however, have an idea of what he'd like to do when they got back.

Akira tilted his head, smiling slightly. There was nothing wrong with giving in once they were in the privacy of the bedroom... except he felt bad, since he didn't feel those things because of Kaden. He felt those things because he had been standing too close to some horney guys in an alleyway. He knew his mate would be happy with doing 'stuff' but, well, he was just confused. And why did Kaden sound so skeptical? He should trust his mate! The boy bit his lip slightly and turned away. "Why? ...Did you want to do something else?" he asked quietly.

Kaden shrugged. "If you want. I mean, if you'd rather clean up than let me teach you how to gamble, then that's your own thing," he said with a grin, winking at his mate, "I still can't grasp the fact that I've met someone that actually likes cleaning things." He laughed lightly and smiled happily at his mate, so the boy would know he was only joking and not making fun of him.

Akira chuckled. "Maybe if you had, your apartment would be cleaner," he smiled. He shook his head, looking at Kaden curiously. "You don't like shopping, because it's 'a waste of money', right? But then you say you know how to gamble? Isn't that an even bigger waste of money, dear?" he said playfully.

Kaden winked playfully. "Everyday's a gamble, Love," he stated simply. "Cards are just a more innocent version."
