Light in the Darkness((Open Thread))

"Nah it's okay I don't know if you go on about nothing," Hiro said with a little chuckle. "Personally I think that's how you get a conversation started and I don't know mind if you didn't ask me my name." He really didn't mind at all at the same time he felt bad for Light becuase he couldn't seem to remember somethings.

"Hey you know now that I think about it...some how I feel like I met you before but I don't seem to remember," Hiro said spontainously looking at Light putting a green leaf from his salad in his mouth.

"That's good, I thought I was going crazy or something," he took another bite and as soon as the bartender went by asked him to take Hiro's order. The man glanced at him wearily, promised he'd come back in a bit and resumed getting a roudy group of Vampyres some drinks.

"So.....maybe we should start trying to figure out how we know eachother. The best way to do that is to tell about our pasts I guess, although that'll be hard for me. I only remember some things...." Again he trailed off, surprised that he had said more to this stranger....friend...preson in a few moments than he ever had to anyone else, save his parents.

"No you're not going crazy at first that what I thought when I first saw y..." Hiro didn't seem to finish his sentance at that point. He was a bit worried that Light would think he was some type of stalker.

"I guess talking about our past would help...but some times I tend to forget it," Hiro looked down at the table a little sadly. Maybe it was best for him to forget but he wasn't sure.

That made Light laugh. What a strange pair they made! Of course, when the Zercan gave him a wierd look he had to share such silly thoughts. "It's funny that be both know eachother somehow, but not one of us is good with out pasts." Shaking his head he started back in on his salad when his stomach demanded, unworried about the waves of emotion from the crowd washing towards him. After a quiet minute filled to the brim with the pounding music he turned back towards Hiro.

"Maybe I met you on Zerca when I was little. My parents were living there before we moved to Sensaforia.....I have pictures.....Could it be possible that out of all the people on Zerca I knew you?"

"Yeah I guess it's weird that neither one of us remember our past," Hiro seemed to chuckle at this since it seemed to make him happy that he could carry on a friendly conversation with someone. Hiro looked at Light with a gentle smile on his face that he thought would have turned into a big grin but it didn't.

"Maybe you did meet me when you were on Zerca but I can't seem to remember," Hiro wasn't sure what to say to Light about that. "If you do have pictures maybe I could remember." Hiro was unsure of himself when he said that. He always tried to forget his past because to him it was a very unpleasent one.

"Alright. Well you eat up after you order and when we're done we'll go back to my ship. I'm staying here for awhile on...vacation. And personal reasons," he ducked his head, "but you don't need to hear about that." He smiled and stopped talking when the weary bartender came back.

"Alright that sounds good to me," Hiro said looking at Light. Hiro looked at the bartender and told him what he would like to eat. He always seemed to enjoy eating something that meat. "Some how this isn't excactly what I wanted for a vacation but I guess it'll have to do." Hiro said to himself hoping that Light didn't hear him.

The bartender came back moments later with the food that Hiro had asked for when he was here. Hiro looked at his food but he wasn't sure if it was okay to eat. He never really eat something from a different planet before so he decided to sniff it before taking a bit.

Light finished his salad, pushing the plate away and dropping some cash down, tipping the bartender generously. He didn't like the look of the meat, it made him a bit queasy. Of course, he had eaten meat before, he was half Zercan after all. But his father had raised him as more of a nuts, berries, and vegetable person. And he was overly fond of sweets.

Hiro finished eating having a feeling that Light didn't like the look of it. Has he placed the plate near where Light's was. He wasn't sure if Light decided to pay for his food as well as his own so he decided to lay down some cash of his own.

He looked at Light then decided to ask, "So are you ready?" Hiro couldn't help wanting to leave he really wanted to know if he had met Light on Zerca once before.

"Oh...yes," he stood quietly and pulled his robes around his legs, settling them in neat pleats. He motioned towards the door all the way on the otherside of the tavern. They'd have to go through the crowd again and he really didn't want to be jostled around. Sighing he let Hiro go first, clutching his cross, his eyes darting around as they came to the edge of the crowd.

Hiro went in front of Light and walked through the crowd again. He was happy when he got the door and could leave that place. He looked at Light hoping he didn't get lost on the way back to the door. So where's your ship," Hiro asked looking at Light.

Light pushed his way through, muttering under his breath as he was jostled from side to side. He finally made it to the edge of the crowd and stopped, taking down some of his emotional shields as they walked outside into the clear...night? Morning? He couldn't tell-air. "My ship's right at the docks. Not too far from here..." He glanced around at the streets before pointing vaguely in one direction.

"Okay that's good to hear." Hiro said looking at Light. Just looking at the sky he couldn't tell if it was night or morning since it was always dark. "Well should we go?" he asked looking in the direction Light was pointing in.

"Yeah...let's go..." he was confused by the funny feeling running through him. He was empathic, yes, but what was happening now had nothing to anothers feelings. He felt something important was going to happen. Shrugging it off, Light started down the darkened street, keeping himself in view of Hiro while trying to hurry. He wasn't afraid of the dark-it was the fact that his rather cheerful robes and Sensaforian skin seemed out of place.

"Okay," Hiro said looking at Light. As Light started to walk away from him he couldn't help but feel a bit happy. Maybe he did have friend after all. He followed closely behind Light trying not to lose sight of him.
