Silence in the Night ((Quidel/Laina/Angelo))

[Angelo Nyx]

Before saying anything, Angelo hugged his mates tightly- at the same time- and gave them each a kiss. "I know... but I got worried, and I wanted to see you!" he explained. "But then I couldn't find you and I thought I would never find you...," he trailed off. He grabbed one of Quidel's hands and one of Laina's.

"I think he'll be okay. He talks and can walk... but I don't really know anything about this kind of thing. Bermuda's taking care of him. He trusts him more than he trusts me. But... are you okay Quidel?" he asked softly, looking up at his mate with concern.

[Quidel Midas]

Quidel gave a slight smile and waved it off as if nothing had happened. "Yeah. Sorry about that," he said lightly, not wanting to stress out the pregnant hybrid anymore...And he was telling the truth! Kinda. "I'm glad Bermuda is taking care of him...He's always been a good friend why I've needed it and is just as ready to slap me if I do something stupid...Or, you know, if I was after his prey...Er, meal, which I don't think will ever be the case again..Uh, yeah." He coughed slightly and hugged both his mates back. "Well, lunch didn't work out to well, so what now?"

[Laina Dafydd]

Laina sighed lightly and hugged Angelo. Even though he didn't Lucius in the slightest, he was glad the man was okay... sort of. He leaned against Quidel and wrapped an arm around Angelo's waist. "What was it we were going to do afterwards? Everythings happened... I can't seem to remember...," he admitted sheepishly.

Angelo leaned against Laina and held onto one of Quidel's hands still. He knew Quidel wasn't okay, but didn't know how to get him to open up. Maybe if they weren't surrounded by so many people? They should just go home. "Um... I think we were going to see your parents again, right?" he asked Laina softly. "But we should go home first. We still haven't eaten, so I think we should just go home to eat. Is that okay with you two?"

[Quidel Midas]

Quidel shrugged and nodded. "That's what we were going to do, I think...But you two can decide. It's not like I'm going to eat or something," he said. "I'll do whatever you two want."

[Laina Dafydd]

"I agree with Angel," he said softly, "We should get home. The babies'll be here for another few months, my parents can wait a few hours before finding out." He knew Quidel wasn't feeling well right now, and he really didn't think him being around his family... or his neighborhood, would help that very much.

[Angelo Nyx]

Angelo smiled a little. "Okay, let's go home then," he said softly. He moved to one side of Quidel and grabbed his hand. He waited for Laina to do the same before they started heading home. On the way Angelo tried to think of ways to help out Quidel. He wasn't sure what to do.

Quidel nodded slightly and walked with his head down, thinking. His past behaviour was horrible and he wondered if it would affect his future, their future, their children's future. What if he acted stupid again and caused something bad to happen? Sighing softly, the Incubus looked up and pointed to the building in front of them. "We're here."

[Laina Dafydd]

Laina smiled softly at Quidel and nodded. "Yeah... we are," he agreed quietly, squeezing the Incubus' hand. Once they were up the in their room, Laina lead Quidel and Angelo to the couch. Sitting do the silver-haired man down, Laina sat beside him, snuggling against him. "Quidel... you know we love you, right? No matter what happens, or what you do, or we do, or anything... okay?" he asked, kissing the Incubus on the cheek.

Angelo curled up on the couch on Quidel's other side. "Laina is right, Quidel," he said softly. He held onto his mate's hand lightly. "We love you, no matter what," he said, nodding. He leaned over to kiss Quidel's cheek lightly.

[Quidel Midas]

Quidel sighed. "But...What if I do something truly horrendous one day? I've been losing my temper a lot recently...It's not normal...What if I endanger the lives of our children?" he mumbled moodily.

[Laina Dafydd]

Laina sighed softly, reaching up to gently run a hand through the Incubus' long hair. "You would never hurt us, or our children," he stated firmly because he knew it was true. "Even in your rage... you never moved to hurt Angelo or myself. You were protecting us," he explained calmly, resting his hand on his pale-haired mate's shoulder. "Nothing.... Nothing will ever make me, or Angelo, stop loving you." He snuggled against Quidel's side, moving his hand from the other's shoulder to replace it with his head as he buried his face in Quidel's neck.

Angelo began stroking Quidel's hair gently. This is why he hadn't wanted his mate to do that to Lucius. He knew the boy would be hard on himself for it. "Everything Laina said is true," he said softly. "We love you, Quidel. Always remember that," he murmured, kissing the other's cheek softly.

[Quidel Midas]

Quidel nodded slightly and brooded for a few minutes, eyes staring at nothing in particular as he though. Well, the both of them were right...He never had tried to hurt them really...

"You're right," he said, biting his lip. "Anyways...Are you to still hungry? I'm sorry my mood prevvented you two from eating..."

Laina smiled, glad that Quidel was going back to himself again... even if it was slowly, it he was still going. He pulled away from the Incubus' neck and smiled, leaning forward to kiss him. "It's alright. We're not so hungry that we would ignore your need for us just for a snack, you know," he said softly, a smile on his face.
