(From No Man's Land)
Marcus looked over at the building with polite interest, a smile creeping its way onto his face. "So far, aside from a few quirks, I love Zerca," he fully admitted. "It feels like no matter what happens to me, I could live off the land if I had to. For such an advanced planet, its so green, lush, and beautiful. I could stare at the countryside for hours."
Upon reaching the hotel, Marcus showed Aiden around the front desk and other key parts of the building in case he ever needed something. He also made sure to get an additional key for his room. When he finally showed Aiden up a floor to where the room was, he naturally opened the door for the Zercan and revealed--not a standard hotel room--but a suite that could very well be mistaken for a small house at first glance. It had it's own living room, kitchen, and a cozy atmosphere that Marcus enjoyed. Lifting up Aiden's hand, Marcus placed the additional key to the room into it.

Aiden followed him as they walked through the hotel, it was nice and he liked it. He gasped a bit as he looked around the room and grinned happy. "T...this is beautiful," he admitted and started to walk in as his hand was touched. He jumped a bit and looked to him as he felt the key placed into his hand. He looked down and smiled slightly, "Thanks," he whispered happy. He was glad to be living with the other, and wondered how long it would last. He hoped it would last for a while he hated searching for a new master each time.

"Sorry if isn't much right now, but I plan on moving into my own place soon. I just have to...tie up some loose ends and look around for a place I like," Marcus apologized as if he were forcing Aiden to stay in a dog house. He locked door behind him then proceeding to slide his hat off, further revealing a long bandanna that he wore over his head. Taking that off as well, two jaguar-like ears perked up. If he really wanted to, he could probably hear a pin drop from across the room now.
"There's only one bedroom, but the couch over there folds out into a bed, I think." He set his sword on a nearby stand for it, and beside that he set a small bag. "The groceries can go in there." He motioned to the kitchen while slipping his gloves off. Finally he removed his coat, and hung that up as well. His shirt was actually pretty light and the sleeves draped a little in the old fashion. His pleated cravat helped hide his neck, but from the look of his hands and face, one could probably guess that his skin had a nice golden tan to it.

Aiden looked around, he liked it. He looked to him once he started to talk once more and watched in awe as he reviled his ears. He moved closer and couldn't help but touch them. "Beautiful," he prasied softly, "I want some." He smiled o him then backed up when he mentioned the bed, "Yeah I can sleep in the couch even if it doesn't pull out," he murmured softly. He looked towards the kitchen when he pointed then looked back to him. He really thought he was pretty, but didn't want to spoil anything. He walked into the kitchen and started to put all the food and stuff away. He smiled as he walked back to him once he was done, "When do you want dinner ready?"

Marcus cleared his throat as he brought a fist up to his lips in an attempt to hide a faint blush while Aiden put groceries away. He wasn't used to having his ears praised, let alone touched. Looking into a nearby mirror, Marcus wondered if there were any others like him on Zerca. If not, it didn't matter. He didn't come here to find a kindred spirit from his own planet, he came to find a new place with new people.
Marcus' mind wandered at this. The Zercans had a cat form as well according to his data. Watching Aiden slowly approach, the blonde couldn't help but wonder just what this teen's cat form looked like. "Dinner?" Marcus snapped to attention, his ears perking a little again at Aiden's voice. He checked his pocket watch quickly and nodded. "I usually prefer dinner at 6:30." Then as an after thought. "Is that okay?"
Normally he wouldn't ask, but Aiden wasn't exactly one of his servants. It gave Aiden two hours to prepare a meal, but to Marcus it felt a little longer. Must have been jet lag. He found himself wondering what time it was where he came from because he was already getting tired.

Aiden smiled wide to him and watched him, "Yes, its fine," he admitted. He watched him happy, staring at his ears again, he really liked them. "I wish I had ears in this form," he murmured. He moved closer and touched them again, with a grin. He back up quickly and looked into his eyes, "Sorry if I made you uncomfortable..."

"No, don't worry about it," Marcus motioned for Aiden to take a seat and make himself comfortable. He himself picked out an armchair to relax in, his tail curling up against his leg. "I'm currently trying to figure out why the second species of my home planet can't mimic a humanoid form as well as the Zercans can. Considering the similarities, though, we may be distant cousins of some sort."

Aiden sat in a chair across from him and watched him with a smile. "We may," he admitted and leaned agianst the chair a bit tired, but fighting it. "I just really like your tail and ear, they're cute and unique." He sighed and after a while stood up to head to the kitchen, "What would you like for dinner?" he asked curious. He wanted to time mange the dinner and make sure it would be ready and warm when he wanted it.

Marcus gave a small smile, one of his ears twitching once or twice as it picked up a bird chirping outside the window. "I appreciate your kindness," he nodded. When Aiden asked about dinner he rose from his seat to check the supplies. "Well, let's see what we have and go from there."
While Marcus checked over what they had purchased earlier in the day, he also took out a small notepad and began writing down possibilities for dinner. On another sheet of paper, he was making notes on what they still needed to stock up on. Spices, for one, they hadn't bought much of. Oh well, it was his first day out shopping in this new place and he couldn't be expected to remember everything. Besides, a simple dinner sounded nice considering he would probably be going to sleep soon after. So, completing the check, he handed Aiden his menu.
"Can you manage this or will you be needing help?"
(Sorry, woulda added specifics but I can never choose an actual meal XD)

Aiden raked his eyes over the menu quickly then smiled. "No, I can manage," he murmurd and pushed him towards the door. "Go rest alright? I've got it," he promised then smiled wide to him. He loved to cook, but none of his other masters liked him to.

Marcus blinked and backed up out of the kitchen. Well, Aiden seemed to be able to handle the situation swimmingly. That was a good thing. He was going to make it here after all if he could continue to find such capable people as this.
"Appreciate it." He gave a small bow and walked back over to his chair to relax.

Aiden smiled wide and started to hum as he cooked. He soon started to sing, he had a wonderful voice, but usually didn't sing. He sighed as he set the timer then went out to Marcus, "I have to wait for a bit," he admitted. "What are you up to?"

(Sorry for the delay, classes got busy.)
Marcus had ended up pacing the living room, pausing only for a little when his cat-like ears perked up at the sound of Aiden signing. That was a pleasant surprise. He didn't think Aiden would be the type to have a sweet singing voice. Then again, he really knew nothing about the stray he had picked up. Talking about all that "mistress" stuff made Marcus tense and edgy. He would kill himself before doing half the things Aiden has had to do.
Getting the urge to practice, he walked over to the stand where he had set his rapier and carefully scooped it up just as Aiden was walking out of the kitchen. "Oh, that's right." Of course the food would take some time to cook. "I was just going to go out on the balcony to practice my form."

Aiden watched him curious and soon moved close. He stuided the rapier the slowly touched it, he hadn't seen one before. "U..um could I watch?" he asked shyly. He hoped Marcus said yes, but was prepared for a no.

Marcus held the blade out a little to allow Aiden to touch it. Curiosity wouldn't hurt in this case considering that the blade was only sharp, pointed and dangerous at the very tip. At the question, Marcus tilted his head only slightly, thinking it over. He usually practiced alone so he wasn't accustomed to others watching.
"Sure, I don't see any harm in that as long as you don't get in front of me," he answered finally, poking Aiden's shoulder in a joking manner with the scabbard of the sword.
