Free Drinks? ((Open Thread))

[Jayden]

Jayden smiled and shook his head. "Your just a curious little kitty aren't you?" he mumbled. He took a sip of the drink Zelig had prepared for him then tilted his head to the side. "This is good. What's in it?"

Zelig narrowed his eyes at the change of subject, but let it slip, later on he would get all the info he needed!

"This is good. What's in it?" Zelig smirked.

"I can't tell you. because if i do maybe when you go back to Parinenai you'll say it was you who invented it." Jayden just stared at him, teh red-headed laughed nervously.

"Well actually you really don't want to know what's inside." Zelig looked away, he knew his drinks tasted good, but the ingredients used weren't always fondly recieved.

[Jayden]

Jayden raised an eyebrow at Zelig. "I have the stomach of a gramba, I'll be fine. Besides, it has... entrigued me." He smiled at the Zercan and took another sip.

Zelig chuckled "ok, just because you asked. I put in beer, salt, a juice Ronny uses for cooking, lemon, a spicy plant and a bit of rasberry to give it a twist." the redhead smiled proudly.

[Jayden]

Jayden nodded in thought. "Hmh. Salt, huh? I would have used Basil." He shrugged and downed the rest of the glass quickly. "Thank you for the drink. What do I owe for the food?"

[zelig]

Zelig frowned, yes Basil would work too...hmmm... but wait a second, he wants to go? "Um, well i think it will be ten coins ((is there some type of money? ^^;;)" Zelig hesitated as the Jayden stood up.

"Y-you could stay here you know. I mean if you don't have where to go... We have an extra room and stuff! But ofcourse if you want to go, then um don't forget to come back?" He said this rather quickly and looking down at the floor.

[Jayden]

Jayden stood and grabbed his bag, setting it on the stool he had vacated so he could find his money. He looked up when Zelig offered him a place to stay. "I appreciate the offer, but I'm afraid I would put you in danger." He mentally frowned at himself. He knew what he was saying was true, but he really did want to stay. And those hotel beds were never comfortable!

"Well if you change your mind, we'll be here till midnight." Zelig smiled at Jayden, the man seemed preocupied for some reason, he still didn't uderstand why he would be in danger but decided not to push the issue further.

"Hey Zel! You free after midnight?" He heard the voice of one of Lurn's friends. He had been goign out with them for the last few days, and with him..well it was friendship with extra bonus.

Zelig turned to Jayden, "Dunno, gotta see if i'll show my new friend around." Yeha he would wait with this one.

[Jayden]

Jayden smirked, grabbing his bag and throwing it over his shoulder, and waved to Zelig as he left. "Thanks for drink," he offered before walking out the door. He looked down at his watch and stopped. I was in there for over an hour and half?!....And I didn't even get directions! Jayden sighed and smacked himself on the forehead. He stopped the person closest to him and quickly asked directions to the hotel he was supposed to be staying at.

Zelig pouted as he watched Jayden leave. But still stared at his ass. "Man, i really wanted him to stay!"

"Your charms don't work for everyone." Ronny sat beside him.

"Don't rub it."

"But it works for him." ronny pointed at one of Lurn's friend that had been eying Zelig for over a week.

"I don't want to go with him, i'm bored of him." Zelig moaned.

"But he's such a nice guy! Zelig it worrys me that you haven't found a mate." Zelig opened an eye to look at Ronny, the black haired zercan did seem worried. And he was right, after Zelig's past he wanted someone to keep an eye on his little brother. Even though the redhead had said many times he was over it, he still kept his right eye covered.

Zelig rolled his eyes, "Yes mom..." he would find someone...well maybe.

[Jayden]

Jayden walked into his hotel room and sighed. He didn't bother turning on the lights, but changing into comfortable sleeping clothes in the dark and flopping down on the bed. The matress bounced stiffly, drawing a sigh from the wizard as he tried to get into a more comfortable position on the unfriendly bed.

After a long while of rolling back and forth he stood, pulling on a pair of slacks, a jacket, and his shoes, before checking the clock. "Eleven thirty," he mumbled, "I still have time." He left the room and traced his way back Zelig....errr... the pub..... Once he arrived, the wizard noticed there were a few more people than when he'd first arrived. He took a seat at the bar quietly and waited.

As the night advanced, more and more peopel entered the pub. Zelig Lurn and Ronny had lots of work, but Zelig sighed in relief as his replcement came in at ten. He helped out a bit until he decided to sit in a small table on a corner, today and tomorrow where his days free.

He took a sip of his newdrink made with Basil. He hated to admit, but indeed it was better. He moved his eyes to the bar spotting very familiar black clothes. He smirked and stood up walking towards Jayden. But once he recahed the spot he realized he was moving towards a vampyre or something of the sort, he turned around cursing. But before he was able to sit again, he saw Jayden walk in and sit down.

Zelig grinned and stood behind Jayden, "I thought you wouldn't come."

[Jayden]

Jayden turned around and smirked. "Aw, you were waiting for me? I'm touched." He placed a hand on his chest before grinning. "I have to admit, though, I'd rather see you than the desk clerk at my ex-hotel. He looked like he had a bit too much fun with an exhaust pipe." He scrunched up his face in disgust at remembering the hideous being that had tried to hit on him. "I hope your earier offer still stands; I can't stand those stuffy beds."

Zelig laughed, "Well, i guess i'll let you stay if you come with me to a club or something fun." zelig placed his hands behind his head grinnind, "You can choose what you want. Deal?"

[Jayden]

Jayden grinned. "Hm. I haven't been to a club in a long time.... You don't mind if I change first, do you?" He looked down at his messy, wrinkled slacks, too-big t-shirt, and loose leather jacket. He definetly wasn't going to win any awards with this get-up.
