"I was traveling," Albus replied with a sheepish grin. "But my asshole friend ditched me and that's how I ended up in that creek." At least that was lightly putting it, Albus thought. His friend had tried to steal his family's aircraft and when Albus tried to stop him, he'd ruined the motherboard and sent him careening through the Earth's atmosphere.

Naveen frowned. "Where's your hotel? Nobody 'travels' out dis way." He said. They were way out by tue plantations. All of this land was private property.

"Hotel?" Albus asked, his cheeks heating up. "I don't have one of those. Should I?" It had looked like wild land when he'd been out last night. Albus hadn't seen a human population for miles. He suddenly had a sinking feeling in was in some very deep shit.

Naveen frowned. "The where did you come from?"

Albus' flush deepened and he shrugged. "If I told you I fell from the sky, what would you say?" How was he supposed to explain to Naveen that he was a shifter from outer space?

Albus shook his head. "Nevermind. You wouldn't get it anyways. Just...can you take me back to that creek? I'm not sure I remember the way." He couldn't rest now, at least not yet. He didn't not want the thought of being stranded on Earth looming over his head, that was for sure.

"Yeah, I know," Albus replied lowly. "That's why I need your help in getting there. Will you help me, Naveen?" He turned his dark eyes onto the human, hoping he'd say yes. He'd been kind thus far and Albus hoped it would continue.

Naveen frowned. "Not until you tell me what the hell is going on." He said, standing and moving to his desk drawer, removing a barretta.

Albus went pale as he eyed the weapon. So much for kindness, though he could understand the human's wariness. Still though, Albus couldn't tell him. He'd probably get shot for it anyways. Gulping, he eyed the doorway and then Naveen and then the doorway again. Ah, hell.
And Albus went for the exit, throwing a pillow at Naveen's face before staggering past him.

Naveen easily dodged the pillow, watching the male run. It'd better if the male just left now.

Albus made it as far as the last step of the stairs before the shit hit the fan. Still unwell, the world rocked around him and his eyes rolled to the back of his head as everything went dark. Except when he hit the ground, it wasn't as a man but as a giant, black panther.

Naveen headed downstairs when he heard the crash. He thundered down the stairs, only to skid to a stop. "The fuck?"

Albus chuffed and sat up on his haunches, shaking his head. At least his headache was gone in this form. Groaning, he got to his feet only to freeze at the sound of Naveen's voice. Albus flattened his ears and laid back down. Crap.
