Lightyears from Love (Albus/Naveen)

Naveen frowned. "It's not that far from here." he said, going to grab his cell.

Albus went to free his A.I. from the rice bowl, wiping away the excess grains. He stuffed it into his pocket, hoping to be able to get it working later.

Madisson came to get the boys a bit later, honking the horn.

Intrigue by the idea of cars, Albus ran out first. With big eyes he examined the vehicle. "This runs of fossil fuels?" He called over his shoulder at Naveen. "It's no primitive."

Madisson blinked at the two. "V...you alright?" H asked yhe youth.

[clementine]

Albus was just grinning as he opened the door for Naveen so he could hop in after the boy.

Naveen just shook his head. "You wouldn't believe me if I had told you, Madi." he sighed, sitting in the front seat.

"How fast does this vehicle go?" Albus chirped from the back, poking his head between the two front seats. "Oh, that's the speedometer right?"

Maddison looked back to the boy. "I'm not speeding my car for you, kid. My kid's in here." he snorted, backing out of Naveen's driveway.

"So where'd you pick this dude up from?" he asked Naveen.

Naveen shook his fluffy head. "Bruh...I'een even kno. It's betta to jus show you rather than tell ya."

Maddison frowned, not knowing what that meant.

"No, not speeding. I just meant potentially," Albus replied, though he did sit back after that and amused himself with Maddison's daughter. He soon had the little kit giggling with his funny faces.

Maddison just rolled his eyes and drove to his out of the way plantation home.

To which of course Albus asked a million questions about as he peered out the window. The second they had pulled up, he'd jumped out of the car so he could run over to inspect some planets curiously. He wanted to go for a run and explore and looked to Naveen questioningly, though knew Mad would freak if he shifted. Silly humans.

"That guy's an alien Maddi. 'E turn into a damn pantha." Naveen said to his friend.

Maddison blinked. "Uh huh..."

"Show em." Naveen shrugged.

Albus looked between the two bearers and opened his mouth before he quickly closed it again and shrugged. In a blink, he was panther again, playfully leaping at Naveen and twining around the male with a loud purr.

Maddison jumped, barely withholding a scream. What the actual fuck?!

Naveen just looked over his shoulder at the male, pushing the cat away. "See, told ya."
