So they were at a stand off. Madison just grit his teeth, attempting to calm his terrible terrible terrible temper. The people were leaving. He'd just let them leave and that'd be that. blood was so hard to clean off of the walls.

Cass bared his teeth at Madison, feeling the male's ire. He only back down when Albus scooted up behind him, muttering a soft thanks to Madi and Naveen.
"We'll leave now," Cass growled, steering his brother towards the door.

Naveen bucked at the big bitch as they passed but did look a little sadly after Albus. "Yo, bro," he said, going to his roses and giving the male the one they'd made. "Here man, case I don't even see ya again, ight?"

Albus managed to dig his heels into the floor long enough to accept the rose from Naveen. He looked at the gift and then to the bearer before darting in to kiss his cheek. "Thanks," he mumbled, truly not expecting to see Naveen OR Madison again, hence the kiss.
Cass for his part ignored everyone as he snagged his brother again and drew him out the door. He kicked the front door shut, leaving the two humans in a suddenly very quiet house.

Madison growled and focused on calming down. See what you get when you help people, you get it tossed back in your face and their insane relatives come in to fuck up your house, call your friend a bitch and make your baby cry. Bastard.
Naveen on the other hand, was a bit floored. A dude just kissed him.

Albus hadn't really thought of how his kiss would impact Naveen. What he did know was that his brother had been very much worried about it, as was obvious by his furious temper. Albus merely needed to ride his brother's emotions out and then explain things to him. For now, he allowed Cass to take him back to his ship. Once inside, Cass demanded an explanation for everything before he ended up hugging his brother tightly again.
"Don't ever do that again kit. I was sure I had lost you," Cass murmured, kissing the top of Albus' head before he sent the boy to bed.

Madison and Naveen winded down long enough to cook dinner and eat before Naveen headed home. Madi went through the normal routine of working and taking care of Ahiah before he headed to bed.
The next day, he woke and packed up Ahiah's bag, getting her dressed for the day before heading out to his car to take her downtown to King Street for Second Sunday, first stopping to pick up Naveen.

"We're going and that's that," Albus cried, stomping his foot like a child. He clutched Naveen's flower against his chest as he glared at his grumpy brother. The male was sitting at the table eating breakfast and had been arguing with Albus for the last hour.
"Fine!" Cass finally grumbled. "But I swear to the stars that if you get lost or run off, it's straight back to the ship and we are REALLY going home." That had been another fight, stay on Earth for a few more day, which, of course, Albus had won.

Naveen sat on his corner, hocking his wares as Madi sat next to him playing a guitar and singing a Jack Johnson song.

Albus was on a mission. He dragged Cassian through the throng of human, looking for one human in particular. He had no idea where Naveen sold his flowers, but after asking a handful of people, Albus had finally spotted the wirey bearer.
"Naveen!" Albus cried loudly, letting go of Cass' hand to approach the human.

Albus squeezed around the people surrounding the two bearers, grinning like a idiot. He had a couple of green dollars in his pocket and happily tossed them into the guitar case.

As the pair finished the song, the crowd applauded abnd drifted. Some stayed to buy some sweetgrass baskets and such.

Once most of the crowded had dispersed, Albus squatted down in front of Naveen, grinning hugely. "That was really awesome. I didn't know you guys could sing."
