But a day on the planet Zerca and Rein already found himself a job and a live-in one at that. He was excited and far from home, it felt like a real adventure! He had spent the first part of morning getting ready, taking a nice warm bath and getting himself cleaned up before dressing himself in a very nice green and white cheongsam. It was some kind of orietal dress of sorts from the planet Earth. He loved them but he didn't have many. He also only wore it on special occasions and today was that day.
The moment he left the inn he stayed at, he wasn't going to stay there anymore, his mind jumped to the job specifics he received. Having jumped to a job agency when he arrived he was fortunate enough to get a job right on the spot .Apparently he seemed to fit the description generally a bearer who was willing to live in. Frankly he was open to anything but this was the first thing that came up. Of course he had limits but this place was respectable and he expected the same from the job as odd as it sounded. It seemed a little vague on what it wanted from him though.
When he arrived he would just ask questions. It wasn't too long before he was at the address knocking on the front door. He wished he could look at himself. He knew he had his hair loose about his shoulder with a white flower in his hair. It was merely a hair clip though as much as he loved the real thing he hated to pick what didn't needed to be. Now he just waited for someone to answer adjusting the large pack on his back a bit.

There was an excited shriek from the other side of the door, followed by the sound of pounding feet. Yelling seemed to follow though, the sound of it more masculine sounding than the shriek. When the door swung wide open, it was clear who had been the victor to the door. A petite zercan bearer stood in the doorway, a huge smile plastered on his face. His inky black hair was swept of artfully, giving him an elegant look. "You must be Rein. Please come in. My name is Camille." The bearer didn't wait for a reply before he was dragging Rein into the entry way and shutting the door.
The home was spacious and beautifully decorated, though it was clear it had been the work of a interior designer. "I hope you didn't have too much trouble finding the place." Camille was still smiling though it faltered when a giver slowly ambled into the room. The male was leaning heavily on an ornate cane and looked to be out of sorts.
"I said no, Cam. I will not have a stranger living in my house." Darcy was scowl and it was obvious the shout from early had been him when he had tried to stop Camille from racing to the door. Darcy was looking a bit disheveled, his face flush and his hair messily askew.
"You need his help," Cam replied loftily, "The rest of the family lives so far away because YOU had to practically be a live in professor for the Academy." The bearer turned back to Rein, gently touching his shoulder reassuringly. "Don't worry, my big brother is just grumpy. You're gonna love it here."

Rein was a bit at a loss as to how to react when he came in. It was just he had this excited small bearer and a rather grumpy giver. Was he really suppose to stay with that guy? "Ah, a pleasure to meet you two, yes I am Rein." He smiled somewhat nervously looking from one person to another. So was he still getting the job here or not? He would think the person who lived here had more say in his being hired.
"I'm more than happy to help out where I can...um would you mind filling me in on what exactly you'd like me to do." There was cooking which he was an expert at really and he had no problem cleaning if he was just going to be like a maid. Anything to get him started or nearly anything. He didn't know how much of his free time would be given over to this guy though. He stared at the older male who he didn't know. His pale green eyes looking slightly nervous.
"What would you like me to do first?" He looked back to Camille quickly wondering if it would look bad if he laughed at the givers disheveled state. He was tempted to let out a giggle or two but he held back. Maybe he could help him there unless that happened because of him coming.

"I don't need--" Darcy was suddenly muffled by Camille's hand over his face. "Mostly cooking and cleaning and laundry and stuff," Camille cut in. "Darcy is balls at all that stuff. I mean, just look at him. He can barely dress himself." He ignored Darcy's indignant cry and continued on. "The evenings after dinner is all yours and you get every second Saturday off. You're bored and food and such is free and you'll be receiving a stipend for shopping as well as your monthly pay check. Isn't that great?"
Camille was practically gushing as he smiled at Rein. "And don't worry about doing anything tonight. Just get rested and settled. Just think of yourself as a glorified babysitter, I guess. All you really have to do is make sure Darcy here eats and baths properly." Another indignant snort came from Darcy, but it seemed he had resigned himself to the fact that Rein was going to be in his house, thanks to his medling family.
"Look," Camille added, "I gotta go but I'll check on your tomorrow. Remember, I hired Rein so Darcy can't fire you." The bearer smiled sweetly before he said goodbye and flitted out the door. With his brother gone, Darcy was left standing in the foyer staring down an overly pretty bearer and wondering what he was going to do with him.

Rein gave a not to everything Camille said. So he was pretty much like a maid but that was fine. That was what he had been expecting. So he didn't say anything when Darcy and Camille spoke, he only gave another nod when he was told he couldn't be fired. "Alright, bye for now then." He smiled as he watched Camille leave leaving him alone with the other. He wouldn't lie he was nervous but he was going to make the best of it.
"are you hungry?" He didn't move from where he stood. He was still trying to hold back from laughing at the man. He had to divert his eyes for a moment. "I uh...can cook or clean something up for you now. Or perhaps...you'd like me to help fix up your um...image?" He offered moving further in the mans home.

Darcy snort at the fae's questions, eying the male's wings. "No. To all of that," he mumbled unhappily. "I'll just show you to the guest room, I guess." Not waiting for Rein's reply, Darcy turned to limp off further into the house, expecting to be followed. He couldn't say he was completely unaffected by Rein's comment. Darcy could feel the blush creeping up his neck. He knew he didn't dress that well and that was one of the many reasons he didn't want someone hovering over him, least of all another nosy bearer.
It was no use dwelling on it though, Darcy thought as he pushed the door of a bedroom open. It had its own bathroom and was decorated is light, gentle colors, clearly another mark of the interior decorated his mother had hired. And it was there in the bedroom that Darcy waited for Rein to catch up to him.

"O-okay." Rein gave a nod with a small smile before he moved forward to follow Darcy. For a man with a limp he seemed to move really quick. He had to pick up his pace a bit to catch up. The moment he reached the room Darcy was already in it waiting for him. He assumed this was where he would be staying now, the guest room ."Um...thanking you for showing me the room I'll be staying in." He walked over the bed and placed the bag he had on the floor. "It looks really nice." He smiled back at him. "Are you sure there's nothing I can't do for you?" He really wanted to help out now or do something useful.

Darcy sighed heavily, scrubbing a hand over his face once Rein seemed to settled in. "I need you to keep out of the way," he replied. "My family is under the impression that I'm incapable of taking care of myself, which I'm not. You're here to placate them. Honestly, do whatever you want. I don't care." And with that Darcy stalked from the guest room as much as he could, heading up the hall to his own bedroom. No he hadn't eaten, and no he hadn't showered before he flopped down onto his head. Rein was going to be a nuisance, he could already tell. The male's big eyes were captivating and Darcy damned himself for finding them attractive.

Just like that the man left being rude all the while. Well, it was his home. The only thing he was grateful for was the fact the man couldn't fire him. He frowned a bit watching him go, pouting a bit the moment the man was gone. "Stars that man..." He muttered folding his arms. He had his work cut out for him if he was going to be some kind of caretaker. Camille was paying him to help the man so if he had to force himself on him then he would. First thing first he wanted to settle in.
The first ten minutes he spent unpacking his things, the moment that was done he hurried off in the direction Darcy had gone off in. At least if he recalled the add right the mans name was Darcy. There hadn't been any actual introductions yet but Camille had mentioned his name in passing. "Mr. Darcy!" He called stopping by his door. "What do you like to eat?" He didn't have to tell him to cook he would anyways, and if he had to trap the man to clean him up a bit he'd do that too.
"You can't stay in your room and get nothing done." Sure he just got here but if he was taking claim on this place than he'd set down the rules now. "After we're done eating you are going to get yourself properly dressed and taken care of." He folded his arms again while speaking his wingers fluttering behind him just a bit, a habit he had when anxious.

The door swung inwards with a soft gust of air, revealing a glowering Darcy. His teeth were bared slightly and his eyes were slitted angrily. He opened his mouth to yell at Rein but then seemed to think better of it. He released a heavy breath of air, rubbing his eyes tiredly. It just wasn't worth it to shout at the little wisp. Darcy knew he could, but simply couldn't bring himself to it. "Spaghetti or whatever," he grunted, saying the first thing that came to mind. "And I'll wear whatever I want, dammit." He'd tacked the last part on so as not to give the affect that he was giving in, because he sure as hell wasn't.
"Will you leave me alone now," he asked.

"Only until I finish dinner, so I'll come get you when I do, alright." He gave a sincere and carefree smile as if he hadn't just bugged the guy till he opened the door. "It'll take me a good twenty minutes or so I imagine..." He trailed off thoughtfully. "Oh, what do you want to drink...you know ,never mind I figure you like everything in your fridge right, I'll pour you something when we get to that point." He turned showing his back to him, colorful wings ending just above his shapely backside before he took off down the hall.
He took just a few steps before he paused and added without looking back. "If you don't look more presentable when I come back my hands will be all over you." He glanced back smirking a bit before running off this time right to his bedroom. He was wearing such a nice outfit he needed to change. He couldn't help laughing to himself when he disappeared into the room.
If only he could see the look on that mans face, he hoped he knew he was serious. If he didn't clean himself up then he would. The Zercan could be as stubborn as he wanted he wasn't making exceptions. Quickly he changed from his outfit, folding it neatly, before stuffing himself in a light blue blouse and jeans. Only then did he run out to the kitchen starting on that spaghetti.

Darcy gaped at the demand. "I most certainly will not," he tried to reply, but Rein was already flouncing back down the hall. The zercan gulped audibly as he stared at that pert backside. He had to shake himself to direct his throughts elsewhere, just in case his pants ended up getting a little too tight. Damn his brother. Why couldn't this new live in be any elderly bearer instead of young, virile one? Though, granted, with Rein around, Darcy was beginning to feel a little less like an old man. Maybe.
He still wasn't going to change.
However, ten minutes late and Darcy found himself in a fresh shirt and pants. He had pawed at his hair a bit, wondering if that was okay as he looked into the little mirror on his desk. He snorted at the thought. Who cared how he looked? He changed and that was all Rein was getting. The male certainly couldn't say Darcy hadn't tried, though the shower was going to wait until bedtime.

The twenty minutes was needed to properly cook the spaghetti and meatballs he added with the yummy sauce. He considered adding a side dish and decided to go through the trouble of baking some bread. It would be so great! He just made sure he had the table set, the drinks poured, and the food put out before he called for Darcy. "Mr. Darcy the foods all set!" He called out standing by the table. He hoped the Zercan had done something with himself. If he hadn't he'd keep his promise.
"I poured out what I saw in your fridge to drink, juice of some kind I didn't catch the flavor but you should know. I cooked spaghetti and baked some bread, it always tastes good dipped in the cause. Help yourself to as much as you want or rather let me know and I'll get it for you, I baked a bit too much bread but I sliced it all up in small pieces to make it easier to manage." He had a pan in the oven that had the majority on it still there. He had two big pieces for both of them to eat on the table now.
"So let me know if I can get anything else for you." He added the moment he saw Darcy.

After being called (like a child he might add), Darcy was pleased when Rein didn't beret him about his appearance. "It's apple juice," he reluctantly mumbled, flushing again. Who knew that the fae were so chattery. "And I think everything will be just fine." Darcy slowly, almost painfully, lowered himself into the kitchen chair, dragging his leg beneath the table. He pulled a plate in front of him and heaped it full of spaghettie, grabbing some of the flaky bread as well.
"Sit," he motioned a bit imperiously when it seemed that Rein was just going to stand there. He would not have the boy waiting on him hand and food. Darcy was damaged, maybe, but not a invalid.

Rein was actually pleased that the man had done something with himself but his hair left much to be desired. He'd go easy on him this time and not mention it. He was really just waiting to see if he could do anything else for the handsome Zercan, and even disheveled he was handsome. "Hm..." He spaced out just staring at him and found himself blushing.
"Um..right of course." He quickly seated himself at the table but didn't start eating right away. "I hope you enjoy it." He just waited for Darcy to start eating then he would eat himself. "Remember let me know if you want anything else, I'll get it for you." He spoke with a faint smile on his plush lips.
