Family background: Darcy's home life was, and is, pretty quiet. He has two nosy younger bearers for brothers a trait which they got from their mother. His father worked for the Shodan's guard until he retired early to be with his family. Darcy himself was working as a field scientist until an accident left him permanently with a limp. He resigned from his position and took up one at the Academy as a professor of ecology.
Appearance: Darcy is tall, but not overly bulky like his father. He is firm and toned though from his weekly trips to the gym and for therapy on his leg. His hair is a dark brown with hints of gold in it and his eyes are a dusky gray. He's usually found wearing soft jeans and a pullover sweater and his spectacles because he always seems to be reading something. He's never without his cane, a hand carved piece of solid mahogany from earth.
Personality: Darcy is quiet and bookish, something his father could never quite get over. While Darcy is built like someone who should be fighting wars, he's instead very gentle to the point of being a push over. He doesn't like controversy and will usually just let people do as they like. He does have a temper hidden under his mild mannered professor persona though and can be a stubborn brute when he wants to be. While Darcy isn't fussed about most things, he will stand his ground if it's for something important.
Other points of interest: While Darcy's main passion is ecology and the nature of life, he does enjoy secretly dancing, as a hobby of course. His cooking is also abysmal and he's constantly made fun of, especially since he lives alone
