Family background: Sarien is one of three children his parents had. All his life he's lived in the capitol known as Jokadi. That was where his parent met but his giver use to live in the surrounding forests. Something about it being less crowded there. He moved into the capitol when he met his bearer. His mother was both an artist and entertainer. His bearer met him in passing and it seemed through the course of several events they came together.
The two had him and his siblings, he's the second born though. Growing up he was fortunate to be born into a loving family. They like many other Vampyres fed when necessary. He was taught to hunt by his father but he was never truly at ease with the whole idea of it. He won't deny he loves the taste of blood but at some point he suddenly realized he just didn't care for the process of it. He wished he could go off blood somehow but his last few attempts had some unpleasant results.
As he got older he found he had a talent for dancing. His interest inspired by his mother who was very talented in almost every artistic form. So much he was inspired to try out a few to see if he could ever be as good. Dancing was what he took to and let himself delve in. He was so good he decided to venture on his own doing that very thing. He's prepared to leave the planet and do whatever he needs to in order to show off his skills. He also thinks it a great way to make a living. If he can't find anything else to do.
His mother didn't like the idea of him leaving but eventually he settled with it and wished him good luck, as did the rest of his siblings. He didn't say it but while on his venture he was hoping to come to some alternative to feeding or at least come to terms with it. He had to do what he had to do and if he didn't he'd get sick. Those were the facts but he didn't have to like them.
Appearance: Sarien is 5'6" with a lithe but still curvy sort of figure. He likes to wear colorful clothing when he dances, to bring attention to himself, but other times he wears dull colors. He is fond of showing off a little skin so something that might reveal his stomach or even shorts is something he is often seen wearing. He's not exactly showing off his body, he just think it looks more...attractive when he dances.
Sarien's eyes are a light red color that grow darker when he's hungry. His hair is is a dark chestnut brown that stops just above his hips. He paints his nails and can usually be seen covered in black. He has golden earrings with red jewels in them given to him by his mother. He never takes them off. He has a few other trinkets and jewelry given to him by his siblings that he keeps close or wears at all times.
Personality: Sarien is a pleasant person to be around. He's polite and well mannered and can usually be seen wearing a smile. It doesn't matter if it's not genuine, he doesn't feel the need to share things about himself. Being a dancer he felt he always needed to look happy. Like an actor who wants to play a happy character. If he's doing something funny or happy he can't look sad about it. Dancing however is the one thing he can put his all into and completely express himself in. All his emotions can be displayed when he dances...even if he doesn't want it to.
He's no downer though. He tries to be optimistic even during hard times. Giving up and quitting does not exist in his vocabulary. Patience is something he has loads to give but sometimes even his can be cut short. Particularly when someone close to him is messed with.
Other points of interest: Besides dancing he has a love for for drawing and painting. It was something else he was good at but dancing was what he went with. That's why he always keeps a sketchbook with him in a messenger bag he carries everywhere along with some things to color and draw with.
