Family background: Katin was born into a large family, he has several brothers and he's one of the oldest. His family lives out on the country-side, a ways from the main city Scrijx citi. He lives on a farm with all of his siblings taking care of all his brothers. He lives with his bearer and giver still, everyone is doing fine. He couldn't have asked for a better life or a more caring family. He grew up with little problems, his family made money off the plants and vegetables they grew with some merchants in the capitol.
As Katin got older he felt a sense of... Well, he didn't feel complete. Talking to his parents about it it seemed to be the same problem his older brother had. Funny, he never mentioned it to him and he thought they talked about everything together. Maybe that's why he said he was going away for a bit. What should he do though? His parents encouraged him to take off to search for his other half but he couldn't just leave them. Deciding to tough it out he brushed the idea off and went back to work. Unfortunately he wasn't quite up to par like he use to be. Within a few months he gave in and decided to take off. Mainly because his brother came back with a mate in tow. His brother a giver had brought home a human mate and the news got better, they were going to expect kits soon. They would move in on the farm but would have a place of their own on the large land his family owned.
Right then and there it hit him, he knew what he wanted to do with himself. He wanted to find his mate and start a family. He wanted all that and more. He just had to figure out where his other half was, then he could begin to make his own family. But of course he didn't jump to leave, he really wanted to be there when his brother had his first kit or kits. He stuck around helping out wherever he could until the day came. It was amazing, it made him want to find his mate even more. He just stuck around for a few weeks after the kit was born before finding his way off the planet. He just didn't feel his other half was there. If only he knew where he needed to look exactly.
Appearance: Katin stands at a height of 6'1, with a slightly broad and masculine build. His eyes are a light amber gold color with a feline appearance that suits his race. He has dark red hair that goes a little past his neck. He wears a necklace given to him by his bearer, it was something passed down in the family. Its a silver crescent moon on a golden chain. He never takes it off, it doesn't matter what he's wearing. His clothing us usually dark and nothing special, regular shirts and pants label or no label sometimes.
His beast/feline form, a black panther, is a large black feline that moves with the utmost grace, but not without holding an intimidating and feral aura about him.
Personality: Kantin is a happy go lucky sort of guy, he goes with the flow of things and its hard to tick him off. He's usually in a positive mood and he hopes to see others much the same. He's no clown but he tries to cheer people up when the seem way down. He's a patient guy, he worked on a farm it was a must. There's a few sure ways to send him overboard, messing with his loved ones is one. While its hard to get him mad that kind of thing will send him over board in an instant. He's also rather possessive, not so much of items , unless its precious to him, but people close to him. He can just as easily go off in those situations as well, he's not one to jump to violence but he will in that kind of situation.
Other points of interest: Katin is often called Kat by his family. He loves kits with a passion, he's hoping to have lots of kids with his other half, his special someone, his mate. He has an affinity towards cute things. The necklace his bearer gives him is one he considers good luck.
