"Oh," AJ flushes a little. "Well... Still." He doesn't know what to say, but he does suddenly feel silly.

Elias smiled, then moved closer, his hand ghosting over his legs. "Really? Maybe you could talk to me about yourself? I would like to learn about you..."

"There isn't much to tell, but alright," He replies. "I'm an only child. My Beba's family is from Earth while my Geba's family is from here, Zerca... I was well taken care of and still am, no matter how much it annoys me... I lost my legs in an accident, but sometimes.... Sometimes I wonder if its more than just my legs that have gone numb."
AJ didn't know why he was telling the guy this, he just felt he could trust him.

Elias tilted his head curious, "I don't think that it is," he admitted softly. "You seem nice..." He smiled up to him, "Could you tell me more?"

"Thanks... You do too," He comments softly before doing as asked, "Well... I guess I've always been the dare devil type, always getting in trouble, needing a Medi-box treatment every other week. If something wasn't broken I wasn't having a good month."
His shoulders shrug, "I liked to go places, to explore. I used to love people and helping people, but now." He sighs heavily. "I don't think I could be any help to anyone... What do you think?"

"My kits would love you," he told him now. "I run an orphanage...you would be a perfect help..." He smiled as he watched him, "You could help there...but you live here...on Zerca..."

"Yeah... I don't think I'm going anywhere anytime soon... I'm barely allowed around the house on normal days," He shrugs again. "One good days I can head down towards the market with my Geba... So yeah, not going to another planet anytime soon."

He thinks that over a moment before nodding, "Alright, I can do that." He actually likes that idea a lot. "Why don't you tell me about yourself and the orphans?"

Elias looked to him, "Well there are twelve of us..." he told him. "Ten of them...one of me and Travis...he is my nurse, a giver too. Our youngest is a few months, oldest is fourteen...What else would you like to know?"

Elias smiled, "Well we wake up around seven every morning. Every one eats, gets ready for the day. Travis takes the school aged kids to school and I take care of the others alone till he comes back. It depends on the day of what we do, cause I alternate the activities between the kids, to make it fair. Noon is lunch, then we clean up for when the school aged kids come back, I pick them up. Then homework, I give every not in school 'homework' so they can get used to it, for the really young ones they do not get homework, but play with some educational toys, something to help them learn. Then the older kids watch the younger one as Travis and I make dinner. After dinner the older kids clean up and do dishes. After that we read and wind down, everyone gets a choice to listen to me or read on there own. After that its bath time and time to get ready for bed, we have several bathrooms so its easy even with eleven kids. Then bedtime, the older kids are allowed to stay up a bit later than the younger, but they have to be quiet."
