THAT was the wrong thing to say. In half a second, Flash had Lynn pinned to the wall by his neck, the bearer's feet not touching the ground. He knew that the wizard couldn't breathe, and he fixed his eyes, full of rage and hate, on his prey's.
"I watched my parents murdered by their best friend when I was just six years old. I killed the murderer, making sure his body was never found, and raised myself. I learned that love is a false emotion, used only to get what one wants, then thrown aside without a second thought. Do not test me, boy. I will kill you if you dare to anger me again. Understand?" He demanded, tightening the vice-like grip on his neck.

Lynn squeaked in shock when he was grabbed. His eyes actually showed fear for the first time in so long he forgot he had that emotion. He wiggled as he tried to struggle for breath. At the same time, he kept his eyes carefully averted away from the ranting kidnapper. He didn't want to see the rage. Though, he could feel it in the sheer heat radiating off of him.
Instantly though, Lynn felt sympathy for his kidnapper. If only he hadn't been abused...If only he hadn't had to kill...If only he didn't have to survive so alone and soo young...
When the screaming giver pressed even harder against him, Lynn actually did see stars and darkness at the same time. His frail body actually grew heavy and he let his eyes close. For some reason, he knew that he wasn't dying. He just knew tthat he was okay. So, instead of trying to nod or acknowledge the rant, he just let the lack of oxygen knock him unconcious.
Lynn's frail body suddenly fell completely limp under the kidnapper's raging unforgiving grip.

Flash felt something in his chest when the wizard passed out, his rage being replaced by grief and guilt. Dropping Lynn on the ground, he felt his eyes beginning to water from the memory of his parents, and something else that he couldn't identify. Shaking his head, the black-haired assassin picked the male up, threw him over his shoulder, and grabbed his bags. On an impulse, he tranquilized the cat, and took it with him back to his ship.

Lynn woke up in pain. His neck was aching and so was his stomach. And why did he feel like he was upside down?
He was!
Lynn found himself draped over someone's shoulder and being carried somewhere. He thought about moving or saying something. But hten decided against it. It seemed that him and this moron weren't going t be seeing eye to eye. He knew that if he tried, for one...it would hurt like the devil. And secondly, they would get into another sparing match.
So instead, he reclosed his eyes and let fate drag him off to wherever it was this guy was going.
Lynn thought hard on why he was a target. And for all the money on Jeskara, he really truly had no idea. And that in itself worried him too.
