Sweet Blood of a Mate{Suki&Denley}

Denley looked at Suki worried. "You don't have to, I'm sure I can find some other way."

Suki looked down, "I...I don't...but you need it, so I should help you. Just make it quick..."

[halliana]

Denley gently lifted Suki's chin and looked into his eyes searching before he nodded his head. "Okay, you can squeeze my arm when you need to. Denley lead him to a chair and the doctor came over.

"First we're going to check your iron level and then if its at the right level we'll have you rest your arm on the arm rest and there will be a slight poke at your vein in your arm and you get to sit and wait for the blood to fill the bag. While your waiting you can have some juice and cookies. It should only take about ten or fifteen minutes."

Suki nodded to Denley biting his lips a bit, but staying silent. He sighed when he saw the doctor getting a bit scared. He reached for Denley's wrist squeezing when the needle went into his arm. "How long do you think it will take?"

Once all the blood was drawn he closed his eyes as the doctor pulled the needle out. "You need to feed too don't you?" he asked Denley softly. "Cause if you do I think I need to rest here...just for a little while."

Denley felt bad, he didn't like seeing Suki like this. He wished there was some other way, he wished he didn't crave Suki's blood so much that he wanted it all the time. He just wished Suki didn't suffer because of him. These thoughts irritated him, why did he care.

Denley brushed Suki's hair away from his forbear. "No I don't need to feed, but you can rest all you want."

Suki looked up to him curious, "Then maybe I should come tomorrow so you could get your pint?" he asked him softly. "And every other day from then on..." He leaned into his hand gently, he was relaxing with him and did not know why. "Because you did not get your pint today...since the doctor took so much."

[halliana]

Denley smiled softly. "It's okay you don't need to. The blood that the doctor took was for me remember, for the days you're not here. Don't worry about me I'll be fine." Denley played with Suki's beautiful red hair not despising he was doing so.

[istaya]

Suki looked to him smiling weakly, it felt nice to have those fingers in his hair. "But will that be enough? I mean I don't know how long that blood will last, even with me feeding you every other day."

[halliana]

Denley smiled sadly. "I can ration it, I don't want you to feel exhausted every day from the lack of blood."

[istaya]

Suki looked to him biting his lip, "What if I moved in..." he whispered. "Then I wouldn't have to spend money on my apartment. And maybe we could get a healing box? Then I'd be able to feed you everyday...since you need it..."

[halliana]

Denley sighed. "Only if you want to. I don't want you to feel like you have to make accommodations for me."

[istaya]

Suki looked to him curious, and smiled, "I want to help you out. And if I live here I can see Eri more often..."

[halliana]

Denley smiled back. "Okay. If anyone asks you to do something you don't have to because you are not a servant, you can do as you please. Don't let anyone tell you what to do. You understand?"

[istaya]

Suki nodded, "I understand..." He sat up slowly reaching for a cookie as he did so. "I will just have to sell my apartment. Where will I stay here?" he asked softly. He soon slowly stood, his legs shaky so he had to hold onto the edge of the couch. "I should hurry to go see if Eri is ready for lunch."

Denley watched Suki making sure he's alright. "You can stay in a room in my wing of the house, you can pick any of those rooms that you want." Denley wraped an arm around Suki's waist to help steady him, making sure he doesn't fall.
