Takumi's parents, well specifically the sensaforian one could be escaping assassination for reasons I'm not coherent enough to explain so there could be a lot of stuff there.....

Kung fu panda idea: There is a bearer so strong and thought to be evil that he alone is kept in the most infamous prison surrounded by state of the art weapons and a thousand guards. Somehow he meets his seme and because as helpless as a newborn kitten, around his seme at least....
