Playing Pretend -- Desmond x Raven

Raven unpacked quietly, thinking. It's not like all the tv shows he had been in were G-rated or PG! He has done kissing scenes and a few intimate. Clearly, the incubus was underestimating him.

[Ephemerality]

"So, now that we're completely and utterly off on the wrong foot," Des began uncrossing his arms so that he could prop them behind him and lean back comfortably, "Would you like the grand tour of the apartment?"

[kyaarisa]

Raven nodded and moved to follow Desmond on the tour. He really didn't feel like running around trying to find everything on his own.

[Ephemerality]

"Follow me, then," Des prompted as he pushed himself up, strolling out of the room and into the hallway. "So, like I said, my bedroom's at the end of the hallway." He stepped forward, opening a door directly across the hall that opened into a rather spacious bathroom, even fitted with a large jacuzzi-style tub in the center.

"Here's the guest bathroom, and there's a linen closet in the far corner," He explained, before stepping right back out into the hall and starting off towards to the rest of the apartment.

Raven took a look around in the bathroom before catching up to Desmond. "That was a big bathroom..."

[Ephemerality]

"The guest bathroom? Big? You should see the Master's," He smirked, unable to resist throwing in a taunting flirt afterwards, "The tub is more than spacious enough for two or three people. You're welcomed to join me in it any time you like, love."

With a smugly confident look on his face, the incubus continued down the hall, talking as he spoke. "The other room in the hallway is the office. Use it if you need it," He explained as he came to the end of the hallway, "And here's the living room, as I'm sure you've figured out." Once again he continued on to the next room. "Here's the kitchen and dining room. I have someone do the shopping twice a week, so you should be able to find something if you get hungry. And don't worry too much about cleaning or anything. There's a maid for that."

The bearer nearly choked on air at the bath comment. Managing not to however, he just blushed and kept quiet. Raven tilted his head, "A maid?"

[Ephemerality]

"You know. A maid, a housekeeper," Des began to explain, "Someone that comes in every morning and makes the bed and cleans things."

[kyaarisa]

"I know what you meant. It's just...weird."

[Ephemerality]

"Weird? How is it weird?" He asked, the disbelief evident on his face. "I'm an actor, and I'm usually up to my neck in rehearsals and shooting and interviews and photoshoots. You expect me to do the dishes?" Des shook his head. "You really are new to this big movie business, aren't you?"

"I've been mostly in soap operas and modeling." He shrugged, "I don't know how my agent got me this role. When it comes to big movies, I usually get minor parts."

[Ephemerality]

A soap actor and a model.. It really was a mystery as to how the kid got the part, then. Des considered making a snarky comment, but stopped himself. At length, he finally managed something almost-encouraging.

"Well, if they liked your audition and gave you the part, they must see something in you that they like," He said, slipping into the kitchen while they were there to grab a bottle of water from the fridge. He tossed the first to Raven before grabbing another for himself.

Arms reached out to grab the bottle but failed as the bottle flew passed and hit the floor. Sighing, Raven turned away from the incubus and bent down to pick it up.

[Ephemerality]

Des quirked an eyebrow as the other couldn't catch the bottle, shaking his head softly. Yet, once the other bent over, he couldn't help but stare. Those green eyes lingered on the bearer's backside until Raven straightened again. Once more, he spoke without hesitation.

"You're pretty hot, you know," He stated, as casually as if he'd told the other his shoelaces were untied, "You'd be an instant hit if you weren't such a prude. You could have some real sex appeal going for you."

Raven stared at him, cheeks red. "I prefer not to be a slut." He opened the bottle and took a sip.
