Today was a slow day. Not that most days weren't slow when the coffee house Citry worked in was just a coffee house and not the madhouse it was on the weekends. But it was particularly slow today. More so, Citry was having a slow day. He had gotten the last weekend off and was starving. He had about reached his end and he'd take anyone, even a girl...the thought had him shivering. No, he couldn't stoop that low. He already had enough girl's stalking him, coming to the coffee shop everday just to chatter and stare at him. He turned to the table where they were and waved a bit with a smile on his face. Besides, a girl would rat him out faster that he was having sex with customers than a guy. He quite enjoyed his job.

Thomas was at his normal table writing as he did every day. His coffee was half full and cold which was normal for him when he was on a writing binge. In the last few hours he had not even taken a sip, he was too busy typing away as quick as he could to get all his ideas on paper. Soon though his hands slowed as he ran out of ideas and had to stop. He took a sip of his coffee and made a face at the taste, not liking it cold. He left his laptop logged off on the table as he took a quick restroom break then headed to the cash register to get more coffee.
"Citry..." he greeted softly and handed him his cup. "Could I get a refill? Hazelnut this time....with room for cream and sugar..." Hazelnut was what he drank when he was trying to get more idea, with cream and sugar for when he had hit a wall, he drank extra strength coffee, black, when he was trying to stay awake so he could finish typing his ideas. When he had ideas and could not figure out how to write them he drank the house blend with just sugar.

Citry grinned at the cute man that often visited. Honestly, he wouldn't mind a piece of him, but there was just something that always kept him wary of the man. "Yeah, sure, right up," he said and turned to get the drink ready.

Thomas smiled, "Thank you Citry," he told him then moved to wait trying to think of something. He grabbed sugar while he waiting and some cream. He did not even spare the boy a glance romantically, he only thought of him as a nice hard worker.

Thomas made his way back to the counter with a small smile. "Citry...I was wondering um...do you guys have those egg salad sandwiches today? Amy said you guys only make them some days...and I am craving one...so I wondered if you made any today..."

"Ah, yeah, I came in early and made some. I'll get a batch out," Citry said with a wink and headed off to the back bringing out a plate.

Citry smiled back then sighed. He needed a guy right now. He looked at the clock to see when his break was. He wondered if any guy would be on the street willing at this time of day.

Thomas sat and ate slowly trying to figure out his thoughts. He looked up when he heard his name being yelled and a hyper boy coming near him.
"Oh...your...your...Thomas Waleton...I heard you lived here and I had to come see. I'm your biggest fan...I have all your books..." He moved closer to see what Thomas was writing, "Is that the newest book?" he asked excited.
Thomas flushed and his eyes widened, a bit panicked. He really was not used to fans, he did not normally do meet and greets, he was also scared of being near people he did not know well. He quickly shut his laptop scared the other would do something to it, "Um...yea..." he whispered trying to scoot away but he was blocked in.
"Oh please...can I read it?" the boy asked nearly bouncing in excitement..

Citry noticed the boy come in. He wasn't sure how old the kid was, but he was messing with that writer, one of their valued costumers. He walked over hoping to charm him to leave the guy alone. "Hey, kid, you shouldn't bother people like that," he said smiling.

Thomas looked up with Citry came, glad he was handling it.
The boy pouted, "But I just wanted to meet the famous Thomas Waleton..." he protested.
Thomas bit his lip, "I...I'll give you an autograph..." he offered softly. "If you...um...go...after" He quickly wrote the autograph and handed it over.
"Thank you!" the boy squealed then left the coffee shop.
Thomas looked to Citry, "Thanks..." he whispered.

Citry smiled back. "No problem, you're the valued customer after all, I can't have people messing with you or you won't visit again," he said, putting a little flirt into his words.
