Rah eagerly accepted the kiss from the other, and even more readily accepted the news that the other would gladly take him along. As he was then pulled into the hug, he leaned in against the daemon. The man was just so comfortable and it felt so nice being close to him like this. It was inexplicable, but really, the albino boy was over trying to figure it out and just enjoy it as it was.
"Of course," He answered, loosely snaking his own arms around the other's waist. His cheek came to rest against the other's shoulder, a small pout on his lips, "There isn't anything here for me nor Ilija, and there never will be. Only the tribe laws keep them from getting rid of us themselves, and I doubt that will ever change."
But speaking of the other bearer, the majikadai boy paused. What would Ilija say? He had no idea what the other's reaction would be. Would he want to come along, or would the city hold no appeal for him at all? It was hard to say. Ilija had been even more tormented for his half-daemon heritage than Rahal had been, but he was also much stronger when it came to dealing with it. He was a stubborn man, and not the type that liked change.
"I'll have to speak to Ilija. You, too, probably. But I'm not sure the village will let you anywhere near it, even if you do promise to take me away," He paused before turning his head a bit, looking up to Errol, "But we live on the very outskirts where hardly anyone ever goes. I don't think it would be hard to sneak in, as long as we're careful."

Errol held Rahal close, slowly carding his fingers through the male's soft white hair. He sat there as he listened to the other speak, his mind circling around a million different scenario's that could happen. Of course, they all ended up with Rahal coming home with him one way or another. Errol had come to the decision that he was never going to leave the majikadai ever again. With that thought came an immediate feeling of happiness and Errol wasn't sure what it meant. He was beginning to come to a conclusion about it though, but held his tongue for the moment. One thing at a time.
"Then lets go and speak to this IIija. I'm not afraid of your tribe, either. If it helps, I have a friend who is half majikadai. He lived among the tribes for a while and if your bearer would feel better about it, I can introduce him to my friend." Slowly, Errol eased to his feet, setting Rahal down as well. "After tonight, we'll have more time to cuddle, alright?" With a smile, he kissed the tip of Rahal's nose.
Eager to be on their way, Errol hurriedly cleaned up camp, setting everything to rights again. In no time, it almost seemed as if they hadn't been there at all. Save for the fire, everything looked normal. Shouldering his pack, Errol glanced at Rahal, indicating that he should lead the way. "How are your wounds feeling? I need to change the bandages, but it'll have to wait. Getting out of here is more important I think."

Rahal offered a small smile when the other consented to going with him to speak to the older bearer. He was certain that the man wouldn't go with them or even allow Rah to go himself without meeting Errol. But still, the thought of convincing the stubborn man to leave the forest made him nervous. Yet the kiss to his nose brought him out of those thoughts and put another pleased look on his face.
"Alright," He echoed, pushing himself up as the other cleaned up camp. He heped as much as he could with little things, his arm keeping him from really contributing too much. But at the mention of his wounds, he shrugged his good shoulder, seeming not to be bothered.
"They're fine. Sore, but nothing I can't handle," He answered, waitng until the other seemed ready before he turned, starting off towards the river. "The village shouldn't be far. It's pretty close to the river, so if we follow it, we should be there soon."

"I would rather you not being in pain at all," Errol clarified, nuzzling against Rahal as he passed him. The majikadai's instructions were simple enough and it was easy enough to follow the river. Errol was thankful that the river was so close by. All that water had him feeling rejuvenated and it would enable him to fend off any attacks that could happen along the way.
"You're going to like the city," Errol said after a few minutes of silence. "And if you don't, we can move to a different planet. Did you know, the trees on Zerca and Sensaphoria are brown and green instead of silver?" He knew he was babbling, but he was so excited to be sharing his own birthplace with Rahal. He wanted to see the amazement on the boys face when introduced to all the new and exciting things of Jeskara.

"You and me, both," Rah answered with a soft laugh, smiling. The other's good mood was infectious, especially given the situation only moments earlier. Even as they walked in silence, the boy seemed just as chipper as could be, liking the feeling of simply having company just as much as he enjoyed the daemon's affections.
The topic of the city had the boy turning his head, looking surprised at the little bit of trivia thrown his way. After a second, though, he flushed lightly and shook his head. "I didn't know. Honestly, I don't know much about the city, much less the other planets," He admitted with a small, sheepish smile. After another moment of hesitation, he could help but ask the question now weighing heavily on his mind.
"Do you think I'll fit in in the city? I just.. You saw how my kind doesn't exactly like daemons. Is it the same kind of thing in Jokadi?" He bit his lip, hoping the answer would be negative. Even though he would be with Errol, the idea of being in yet another place where he didn't belong was a depressing thought.

Errol glanced at Rahal before sliding an arm around the boy's waist and pulling him close. He wanted Rahal to laugh more. He loved to see his serious little warrior smiling so happily. "That's alright that you don't know much. I'll teach you," he promised, nipping at the curve of Rahal's jaw. He couldn't seem to stop himself from touching the male. When he got home, he promised to kiss Rahal stupid again.
"And you'll fit right in, I'm sure," Errol replied with a smile. "I'm not saying their isn't discrimination and stuff, but that's everywhere. Your kind is in the extreme, but only due to their isolation. Anything different out here is a threat, right?"

The majikadai boy didn't protest being pulled in. Rather, he simply leaned in lightly against the other, comforted by the other's reassurances. If Errol was certain, then he wouldn't worry about it. Like he'd said, there would always be people wary of him where ever he went. But, hey, it couldn't get any worse than back at the tribe, right?
"Thanks," He said, a small shiver running down his spine at the little nip. But before he could act on his own urges to return the attention, Rah spotted the sights of the outskirts of the village not far away. He stopped, looking it over before returning his gaze to Errol.
"It looks like no one's around, as usual. Shouldn't be any problem getting in," He stated, before thinking of something else, "Unless.. you can't climb trees?" The question was an earnest one. He himself could scale his way up to the village wiven together in the canopy without even the slightest hint of effort.. But if the daemon could or couldn't do the same, he had no idea.

Errol craned his head to look up into the tree. He gulped slightly, not having really thought about going into the tree until just then. "Um," he stuttered. "I think you'll have to blindfold me. I don't do very well with heights," Errol finally revealed. He wondered if a majikadai could understand a fear of heights when their entire lives were based in the trees.
"Perhaps...your bearer should come down," Errol finally added, his stomach already rolling at the thought of having to go that high up."

Rahal watched the other take in the sight of the tree with a curious glance that instantly turned to bemused shock when the daemon answered. He bit his lip to keep from laughing, buthe couldn't keep the smirk off of his lips. "Afraid of heights? That's your weakness?" He teased lightly, though decided to lighten the words by pressing a quick kiss against the man's jaw before starting off towards the closest tree. "I'll be back in a minute, then."
With that, the albino boy was off, grabbing onto the first low branch and easily pulling himself up the tree. It took only seconds before he was up on the walkway constructed between trees, and then he disappeared from sight. Yet true to his word, Rah reappeared after about five or six minutes. Ilija, a thin and almost frail looking, older bearer, followed after him. But surprisingly enough, hehad just as little trouble making his way down as Rahal did.
"Ilija, this is Errol. Errol, Ilija," He said, jumping right into introductions as soon as they were close enough to speak. The elder bearer looked the daemon over, a cautious look on his face.
"Rahal tells me that you have offered to take us to the city," He stated finally, tone not exactly unkind, but guarded, "Tell me, what is your motivation for doing such?" The man paused, his expression softening just slightly as he looked to Rahal, then back to Errol. "It is not that I do not trust you, necessarily, and I am grateful that you've helped Rahal. However, every good deed has a motivation behind it, and I'm quite curious to know yours."

"It's not a weakness!" Errol pouted, though he said no more on the subject, merely crossing his arms as he watched Rahal scale the tree like a little monkey. With a sigh, Errol tried to wait as patiently as possible, though nearly went up after the male. Thankfully, he didn't have to thinking about climbing the tree for too long as Rahal shimmied down it again with the older bearer in tow.
"Ah, it's a pleasure to meet you, IIija." Errol bowed slightly, though balked at the next question. Oh, he knew why he wanted to help Rahal. He'd figured it out completely as they were walking to the majikadai village. The only problem was that he didn't want to just blurt it out to Rahal. Is inner romantic was appalled by the thought and nothing short of a romantic dinner would be acceptable.
"Um," Errol started awkwardly, looking between the two majikadai before he finally looked an arm around IIija's shoulders and drew him away from Rahal. He then started to whispered frantically into IIija's ear, barely loud enough for even himself to hear. He told IIija in no uncertain terms that Rahal was his mate and he wanted to take him back home to be safe. The only problem was, he hadn't told Rahal yet and was waiting for the perfect moment.

Rahal watched as the daemon at first seemed uncertain the the elder's question, the reaction immediately making himven more nervous than he already was. But when Errol actually led the other bearer off and whispered to him, the albino boy was just.. confused. Why all the secrecy? The daemon wanted to take them back to the city because he was worried about him, and because he'd seen how awful he was treated.. right? His brows furrowed, he watched without raising any complaints.
Ilija didn't protest being led off, either, simply walking along and intently listening to the words spoken into his ear. When Errol was done, he pulled back slightly to look the man over, as if checking him for sincerity. But at length, he nodded, the slightest hint of a reserved but pleased smile on his lips.
"If what you say is true, then how could I possibly refuse?" He answered, loud enough for the still-confused Rahal to hear. He turned, looking towards the other Majikadai. He took a few steps closer, then reached out to lay a hand on the boy's shoulder, "Go and fetch what is necessary to take with us."
The boy's lips spread out into a grin before he gave an eager nod and once again scurried up the tree. Ilija watched him leave, waiting until he was out of sight and earshot. "I had always hoped someone would find him and take him out of the forest," He remarked, crossing his arms as he looked back to Errol, "The idea of the city doesn't exactly appeal to me, but I cannot bear the thought of losing him, if even to his mate." He gave a small smile, "I never found my own, so he is the closest I have to a son."

Errol watched at Rahal scaled the tree again. It was a huge relief to have IIija's blessing. He wasn't sure what he would have done if the elder had refused to leave. He knew he'd ever have been able to make Rahal choose between him and his bearer. It wouldn't have been fair or right.
"The city is large, perhaps you'll be in luck yet. And I told Rahal we can leave the planet if the city here doesn't suit you. Both Zerca and Sensaphoria are very nice." Errol smiled at IIija, already liking the elder very much. "And you're free to live with us. I'm sure we can find a home that'll be a good fit." He clasped IIja's shoulder in a friendly matter, his smile wide and sincere.

"Perhaps I'll be surprised," He answered, shrugging a shoulder, though the tone hinted that perhaps he wouldn't have much faith in his enjoyment of the city until he saw it himself. Still, he wasn't going to make the albino boy make the trip without him. But those were thoughts for another time. Getting back to the city was the most important thing at the moment.
After a few more minutes had passed, Rahal once again emerged. This time, he had a few animal hide bags tossed over his shoulder. He'd packed light.. Not that there had been much to pack in the first place. The two of them lived a modest life in the forest, even compared to the others in their tribe. Once he reached the ground, a grin was plastered on his lips.
"We're ready," He stated, shifting the pack on his good shoulder. Injured or not, he wasn't going to have Ilija carrying anything, nor was he wanting to make the daemon carry anything else when he already had quite a bit. "Best leave now, too, before someone notices we're gone."

Errol frowned when Rahal emerged again carrying a pack. Climbing out of necessity was one thing, but carrying anything when he was injured was not something that Errol wanted to put up with. However, it was obvious Rahal wouldn't relinquish his things without a fight. So, to at least make himself feel better, Errol immediately went to Rahal and nuzzled against him, kissing his mouth gently.
"You tell me if you start to hurt badly, alright?" Errol said in a tone that brooked no argument as he fussed over Rahal's bandages, touching the boy to assure himself. They would hold for the moment at least. Errol regretted that they had to all but flee the village, otherwise he would have taken a moment to tend to Rahal. Smiling to his mate, he brushed a bit of white hair out of Rahal's face before indicating that he and IIja should follow him out. He hoped to reach the end of the forest by the end of the day.

Rahal gladly accepted the nuzzle and kiss, only remembering Ilija's presence after the fact. His chees lit up when he looked over at the older bearer, who only offered an amused look at his embarrassment. But he didn't tease him, surprisingly, and so Rahal returned his attention to the daemon and gave a soft nod at the request before following after him moments later.
For a long moment, the albino boy was silent as he walked, too caught up in his own head to speak anything out loud. But in the end, the curiosity proved to be too much for him. He hurried his pace a little, coming up beside Errol.
"So, what about your family?" He asked, looking a little intimidated at the subject. After all, the albino boy only assumed that he would meet them at some point in time if he was going to live with Errol. "What will they think of you bringing us home with you?"
