Lucas looks up to him, "Because Uncle Kenny is happy...and he is never happy around this time a year..." He didn't understand it was because it was around the time Kendricks brother and their parents passed away.

Rory's brows furrowed in confusion as he turned to look at Kendrick. He didn't say anything and merely nuzzled up against the male, a deep instinct driving him to comfort his mate for whatever reason. "We'll just have to make sure you stay happy then, Kendrick," Rory murmured.

Rory was just about to lean in and kiss Kendrick before he heard Lucas' voice. "Lucas!" Rory cried, turning to stare at the kit, hands on his hips.

Lucas giggled, "But...you do..." he teased.
Kendrick went to go sit next to Lucas, "Would you be happy if Rory is my mate? If he becomes part of our lives?"
Lucas looked to him thinking a bit then nodded, "Yes...I want him to be your mate. To move in with us. I like him..." he whispered then looked to him as he bit his lip. "Um...all of us? You won't send me away?"
Kendrick was up kneeling in front of Lucas, "Baby it will be all of us...I will never give you up...I love you just as much as I love Rory..."

Rory smiled fondly at the display before he knelt down beside Lucas as well. He brushed a bit of the little boy's hair out of his face before kissing his cheek gently. "You'll be my first kit, Lucas" Rory, said with a blush, "if you want that, I mean."
