Vito nodded slowly. The sound of Cain's voice calmed his nerves.

Cain didn’t say anything after that, instead he just focused on staying in the dark, out of sight of the people wandering the streets at night. It didn’t take long for him to reach the outskirts of Rome. He slowed down his pace but kept going until Rome was a glow behind them. His ship was hidden nearby, out of sight.
Cain held Vito in one arms as he punched in the code for his ship. “Welcome back Cain.” The cheerful voice of his A.I. said. Cain ignored him and headed straight for his room, once there he placed Vito on his bed then stepped back. There was silence between the two until Cain decided to break it. “Ask me anything and I will answer you.”

Vito sat in silence, his eyes wide as he examined his surroudings. everything was made of metal and looked futuristic.
"Who are you, really?"

Cain was silent as he thought of the best way to explain things to Vito. “It’d be best if I start from the beginning. There are other planets out there, Earth isn’t alone. Most of these planets are more advanced than earth and have been exploring space for years.” He paused letting Vito take it in. “I’m from Jeskara. The best way to explain it is dark, the things human’s treat as monsters in stories live there.”
Cain looked up at Vito, swallowing the lump in his throat as he prepared to tell him what he was exactly. “I am a mix of two species from Jeskara. Half Vampyre and Half Incubus.”

The blond boy slowly nodded. "I see." Vito's feelings were impossible to tell from his voice. "I don't care what you are... I want to go with you. I trust you, and there's nothing left for me here. I want to build a new life and new memories with you..."

Cain was sure his heart stopped for a second. He stared at the other taking in what he'd said. "Y-You will?" He couldn't stop the smile that appeared his face. Vito just kept surprising him. Cain stepped forward kneeling in front of the other, taking his small hands in his own feeling the connection between them.
"You don't know how much that means to me Vito. I want to take you home with me, are you sure this is what you want?"

"Thank you." Cain brought Vito's hand to his lips placing a gentle kiss on the back. The other was putting a lot of trust in him by ding this and he would make it up to him. Vito would want for nothing in Cain's home, he would earn Vito's love no matter how long it took.
Eventually he stood and took a step back "Try to get some rest, I'll wake you when we reach Jeskara."

Cain thought for moment. He wanted Vito to stay close to him but he had just taken the other from the hospital. "Ok, just let me know if you need to rest or feel ill." He held his hand out for the other and led him to the bridge.
(I think it's called a bridge...the pilot place)

Cain smirked at the wonder and amazement in Vito's voice. The door to the bridge opened and Cain sat in the pilots chair. He put in the co-ordinates for Jeskara and prepared to launch. He pulled Vito onto his lap so he could hold the other close.
"It will take a couple of days to reach Jeskara and once we're there I'll take you to my home. Our home."

The small boy nodded, smiling cutely and snuggling into the larger male's chest. "Cain. Tell me about Jeskara. What kind of people live there? What are they like? I want to know everything about my new home..."

Cain thought for a moment, one arm loosely around Vito’s waist “The first thing you’ll notice is the darkness, the sun doesn’t really exist there, which also makes it cold. One thing I do love about it is the forests and rivers, most of the planet is covered by them. They look beautiful in the moonlight.” He decided that was enough about the planet and Vito would see it when they got there “The people on Jeskara? One way to describe them is the stuff from earth nightmares…"
He paused again, hoping that wouldn't scare the other. "The first people you’ll meet will probably be my parents. My Giver is a Vampyre and my Bearer is a Incubus but don’t let that scare you.”
