Something that is so Wrong, Feels so Right

"I-I don't remember anything except my name... W-what's going on?!"

Cain glanced at the Pope wondering if he should tell Vito or if they should wait for the doctor. Cain turned back to his mate and decided it would be best to tell him now instead of waiting. He took Vito's hand in his, squeezing it lightly. "Vito, you were in an accident. You were hurt rally badly."

[Lizzy the Fluff Master]

Pope Leo nodded, walking over to Vito.

"Vito... I'm Pope Leo XIV. I'm... a friend of Cain's. But I've got to return to my home, I need to do some work..." The Pope hugged Cain, before leaving the room.

Cain watched the man leave, he couldn't imagine how he was feeling. He turned back to Vito, a small smile on his face. He was still so relieved that he was okay. "How are you feeling?"

"O-okay... Did I know you before? And how? I feel like I know you, but I don't know how..."

[Ninia]

Cain's smile grew, glad that even though Vito couldn't remember him, he still felt something. "Yes, we met a while before the accident. You were showing me around when it happened. You're someone who I care for, but before this I didn't know if you'd accept me."

[Lizzy the Fluff Master]

"Why wouldn't I accept you... And what do mean by 'care'?"

[Ninia]

Cain hesitated slightly, thinking about how to answer Vito "It's complicated. Before, you wouldn't have accepted my feelings because of what you believed. And as for my feelings, well..." Cain stopped speaking, wondering if should tell Vito or wait until the boy was better. Cain had no idea how Vito felt, had no idea how he would react to Cain telling him his feelings after only just meeting him.

"Please tell me..."

Cain moved from the chair and sat on the edge of Vito's bed still holding his hand. He gently picked it up and placed a soft kiss on the back. His eyes met Vito's and he hoped the boy could see the love he felt for him in them. He smiled softly "How could I deny you anything? You want to know my feelings so I will tell you. I love you, there can be no other for me but you."

Vito blushed, his eyes unable to tear themselves away from Cain's. "I-I don't know what to say.. I feel something for you, but I don't know it's love...Maybe it is..."

Cain felt his heart skip a beat when Vito said he felt something, his smile turned into a grin "That's fine for now, I'll just have to make you fall for me." He'd nearly lost him once, there was no way he would let that happen again.

Vito blushed, nodding. "Y-yeah..."

Cain stayed silent, just content to sit with Vito smiling as the boy's cheeks reddened. It wasn't long before a nurse entered saying that visiting times were over. Cain nodded and stood from the bed.

"I promise I'll be back to see you tomorrow, if you want me to of course?" Silently hoping he would say yes.
