Ran looked at Ignis surprised by his offer "Y-You would?" He didn't know what to think, it was a tempting offer but... "You really don't have to, I'm doing this because I want to..." He trailed off, confused by his own feelings. This was his chance to leave the planet, the money would definitely let him do that but it wouldn't feel right to him...he was showing Ignis around because he wanted to spend time with him.
He was brought back out of his thoughts when Ignis answered his other questions, Ran laughed "Now I really want to know."

Ignis studied his face. "I know, but i would give you the money any way." Ignis thaught to himself for a second. "Or you could come with us if you want."
Ignis smiled, he liked the sound of the males laughter. His face became serious again. "I really can't tell you. The only people i'm allowed to tell are my close family and my mate, but i don't have one."

Ran froze. "I-I could come with you..." Ran just stared at Ignis, he couldn't believe what the other male was offering him. A chance to get away. He smiled softly "Thank you for the offer...Can I think about it?" He just wanted a little time, to sort everything out.
Ran was surprised but also slightly happy about Ignis' words. He too didn't have a mate, there might be a chance that...Ran shook his head. Even if they both hadn't found their mates, it was highly unlikely Ignis was his. "I haven't found my mate yet either."

. Ignis waited for Ran to say something. Think that maybe he shouldn't have said something. Ignis smiled when he finally said something. "Of course you may think about it. The other would want to travvel, but maybe not with the likes of Ignis. He hoped that wasn't the case.
Ignis didn't know what else to say about the mate thing. He felt something for Ran, but he wasn't sure what it means. It would be great if Ran was his mate, he was the first male he felt anything for, but he didn't think he himself would be a great enough mate for Ran.

Ran smiled gratefully at Ignis and turned his gaze back to Aiden, partly to make sure the young boy was ok but also to distract himself from Ignis. When he was with the other he just felt a strange pull towards him, something he couldn't explain.
He thought about Ignis' offer. IT wasn't like he didn't want to leave or that he didn't want to leave with Ignis but...he still worried about his family. Would they be ok without him? There was really only one way to find out. Ran decided that he'd ask them as soon as he could.

When Ran smiled he couldn't help but smile. The other was truly beautiful.
Aiden jumped in front of Ran holding out his arms for him to pick him up. "Me ungy." Ignis just shook his head at the little boy. "Traitor." He laughed. "When are you not hungry?" Aiden just stuck out his tongue and shook his head at Ignis.

Ran laughed at Ignis' teasing and bent don to pick up Aiden. He rested him on his hip and looked up at Ignis. "We have two choices, we can go out or you could come back to my house. My family won't mind, it's up to you."
Another reason for going back to his was that Ran could tell his parents about Ignis' offer and he could finally decide whether to accept.

Aiden laid his head on Ran's shoulder. Ignis thaught about it for a couple seconds. "How about we eat at your house so Aiden. Can take a nap afterwards. "

Ran nodded and turned to leave the park "I don't live that far." He moved Aiden to a more comfortable position and started to head back home. It didn't take long to reach the small house and Ran opened the door, kicking his shoes off when he'd entered.
"I'm back."
"Welcome home, I thought you'd spend all day down at the Ship docking bay." His bearer's voice drifted from the kitchen.
Ran gestured for Ignis to take a seat and gently sat Aiden down on the couch. "I'll just go tell my Bearer you're here."

Ignis followed Ran to his home and took off his shoes as well. He sat where Ran gestured, patiently waiting.
When Widen was seated on the couch he layed down and sucked on his thumb.

Ran giggled at Aiden’s actions and gently stroked the boys hair. Then he turned heading to the kitchen where his bearer was. “Hey Mum, Are you busy?”
The petite bearer turned around raising a brow at his son “No, why? Is something wrong?”
Ran shook his head smiling at him “No, It’s just…I met someone and I invited him back over. He’s only here for a while and I offered to show him around.”
Ran’s bearer frowned “And you trust him?”
Ran nodded “He hasn’t given me a reason not to…and there’s something about him…”
There was silence between the two as Luca studied his son before sighing “If you’re sure then ok, he can stay.”
Ran let out the breath he was holding “Thank you so much.” He hugged Luca before joining Ignis in the living room. He grinned at the other “You can stay”

Ignis sat up straight when Ran came back into the room. "Are you sure, I don't want to intrude."
Aiden got off the couch when no one was paying attention to him and made his way into the kitchen where he saw Ran come out of. He stood there watching the bearer that was there. After a couple seconds he spoke up. "Me ungy." He said looking up at the bearer.

Ran smiled and sat down next to Ignis on the couch "It's fine, you can relax. Anyway, I've decided what I want to do. About your offer." Ran looked shyly down at his hands "I-I want to go with you, if the offer still stands. That's why I want you here, to show my parents they can trust you like I do." Ran felt his cheeks flush as he waited for Ignis to speak.

Luca smiled as he saw Ran's face light up and he quickly left the kitchen to let their guest know he could stay. It surprised him that Ran had brought someone over, he never usually did so this man must be special. Luca smiled to himself and got back to getting dinner ready when he heard a small voice behind him.
He turned around and saw a small child standing in the doorway. Luca was shocked but soon smiled at him and walked over to him. He crouched down so he was eye level with the boy and smiled at him "'I'm just making dinner right now but go on then, I'll give you little snack." He stood and got one of Skyler's snacks and gave it to the boy.

Ignis leaned back and sighed, listening to Ran speak. He smiled when Ran said he would come along and that he trusted him. "That great! Once I offer something I don't take it back unless I find out you want to hurt my family." Ignis didn't understand why Ran was shy now when earlier today he was so bold and voiced his thoughts.
Aiden smiled and hugged Luca around his legs. "Tank you!" He let go and skipped happily back to the living room and up to Ran holding up his snack. "Looky Looky."
Ignis looked to where Aiden was and then back at Aiden. "How did you?......where did you get that?" He said pointing at the snack.
"Ran mommy give me." Aiden replied trying to get on Ran's lap.

Ran didn’t understand why he was so shy now either. He’d never cared what people thought about him, if it was loud, dim, annoying yet right now he wanted Ignis to like him. He didn’t know why but he just did, and it scared him a little.
Ran laughed when Aiden came running back into the room holding a treat. He helped him up onto his lap while he told Ignis what he had.
“My Mum gave it to you? Well aren’t you the lucky one! Did you say thank you?”
