Astani frowned and pulled back, crossing his arms with a 'hmph!'. "Well then, Naiiaw and I don't need you!"
Naiiaw frowned and turned to the boys. "Hey, you two, quit it. If I have to I'll tie you both up and lock you in a small closet together until you get along."

Makali glared and stormed off, but he did not make it far. All the being worked up about the baby then being worked up because of Naiiaw made the baby hormones go into overdrive and he fainted, hitting his head hard on the way down.

Astani was the closest so he was at Mikali's side first. "H-Hey! You alright!?!?"
Naiiaw was already on his AI reserving a spot for Mikali so that when the AI teleported them they wouldn't have to wait. He rushed over to the two boys and gently picked up Mikali, cradling his head so as not to move it too much. "Hold on tight Astani, we're about to be sent to the hospital."

Mikali opened his eyes slowly and groaned, "Naiiaw...the baby..." he whispered scared.

Naiiaw smiled down calmly at his mate. "Shh, it'll be ok. I promise."
Astani leaned forward but instead of holding onto Naiiaw he gently hugged Mikali's midsection.
This worked for Naiiaw so he had the AI send them to the hospital. Once inside things got a bit hectic. Naiiaw ended up waiting with Astani in a small waiting room while Mikali was taken to be checked out.

Mikali could not see the boys till about an hour later and the doctor let them in. "Hello. The baby is fine, but you could have lost it. You need to rest and get your strength up, it looks like you were not eating well and possibly not sleeping. You are having a baby so you need rest and to eat, once you get your strength up you may do small things around the house but nothing strenious till you have the baby. Bedrest for two weeks." He looked to the boys, "It would help if you force him to stay in bed, I know bearers like him and I know he will want to keep working, but he cannot."

Naiiaw nodded, eyes narrowed a bit. "He will stay in bed even if I have to pin him there myself..."
Astani just hid a bit behind Naiiaw, silently nodding. 'Guess that means no more fighting...'

Mikali did not want to stay in bed, but he did not complain. He was worried about the baby and did not want to lose it no matter what. "Fine..." he muttered. "I will stay in bed."
The doctor smiled then handed him a book, "This is a baby book...to help you with this pregnancy." He waited till Mikali nodded before he left them.

Naiiaw smiled and moved to Mikali's side, reaching out to lightly run his fingers through his mate's hair. He leaned down so their lips almost touched. "You had me worried..." He muttered before gently kissing his love.
Meanwhile, Astani stood at the foot of the bed, feeling a bit left out but not wanting to interrupt and rile Mikali up. "The last thing I need to do is kill Naiiaw's lover. That won't win me any brownie points."

Mikali looked to him kissing him back before flushing and looking to Astani. "It wasn't your fault...I...I haven't been eating..."

Naiiaw frowned and turned Mikali's face to look him in the eyes. "And why the hell not?"
Astani timidly walked up and sat on the edge of Mikali's bed, resting a hand on Mikali's knee.

Mikali looked down flushing, "I've tried...I can't..." he admitted hands shaking a bit. "I'm either too worked up to or I...forget...you know me...I don't get hungry...so I forget. I tried to remember...but I could not..."

Mikali sighed, "Maybe...maybe I can hire a cook. My parents would not mind it...not that they are ever home or anything. I can just charge the card."

Naiiaw frowned, not liking the idea. "I'm not sure...Having a stranger in charge of your eating..."
Astani fidgetted a bit before speaking up, a small blush dusting his cheeks. "I-I know how to cook..."
