Hirsch headed back out to his transport with a shake of his head, wondering what that was all about.

Anouk, never one to mince about - as long as there wasn't another human being around - opened his manual AI computer and wriote the man an email.
Mr. Collins,
I apologize if you left our meeting feeling somewhat confused. The blame is mine entirely but I assure you I am much more coherant than I appear to be. And when it concerns my work, I'm afraid I can be a bit... anal, for lack of a better word. That said, please contact me via email for any changes or questions you have concerning my book.
- Anouk Arson.
P.S. I assure you. While I may be, at times, incapable of saying a complete sentence I am actually rather good at writing them.

Hirsch blinked and opened up his e-mail. He smiled at the message and spoke a reply that the AI wrote for him.
"Mr. Arson.
No worries, I was only concerned that you might not be feeling too well. I will certainly message you with any questions before I make any edits to your book. Rest assured, it is in good hands.
Hirsch Craven."

Craven!
Oh, I do apologize. I suppose I really do have a reason to blush now. Craven, a much nicer name then Collins. I think so, anyway. And much more of a charming ring to it. So bravo to your mum and dad for having good taste in names.
As for my book, I doubt the publisher would have sent me anyone nit up to my previous editors parr. You do look rather young to be so accomplished.

Hirsh laughed at that.
"Mr. Arson.
Thank you, I rather like your name as well.
Well, yes in fact. I am twenty-six. But I have been in publishing and editing since I was sixteen. A friend of my uncle was actually your previous editor. And he and my uncle have sort of passed down their love of words to me.
Hirsch Craven."

Mr. Craven,
How lovely. I think that when family values are upheld that it is a beautiful thing. I often believe my parents wish me to be as social as themselves but I am not. I share a love for the imaginary with millions of others but none with my immediate family.
Forgive me if I write too much, too soon. I talk so rarely that when I email someone it becomes rather like a live conversation.

Hirsch smiled.
"Mr. Arson.
It's not a problem. In fact a rather like that there is some way to get to know you a bit better if speech is a barrier. I understand it must be a terrible case of shyness?
Hirsch Craven."

Anouk bit his lip and flushed a bit.
Mr. Craven,
Shyness... anxiety... people make me nervous to the point of blacking out. I apologize if that is too much to reveal but I feel that I need to be honest. You seem like a very open person though, I imagine you do all that my characters do and more in your life.
-Anouk.

Mr. Arson.
It's quite all right. I get it. My little brother was terribly shy as a child as well, so I've learned to deal with it. I can tell you a trick though, when everything comes down on you and you start freaking out, just breathe. It helped him alot.
And I'm not as adventurous as you'd like to think.
Hirsch.

Mr. Craven,
Have you ever been more than a day without your daddy? Sad, I must admit I have not. Is it wrong to burden him with myself, do you think?

Hirsch was surprised by that.
Mr. Arson,
I must admit that I have. Though not more than a wee or so at a time without talking to them at least. I can't comment on whether or not you're a burden, as I'm sure your father doesn't think you are a burden at all.
Hirsch.

Hours turned to days and pretty soon it became second nature to Anouk to sit at the computer and email the man. Be it for work but more often for mere conversation.
Hirsch,
My father took me to a private screening of my grandfathers new movie last night. I got halfway through before I realized it was supposed to be a comedy. 0.o...
You spoke the other day about the Fanatic restaurant and how wonderful their food was that I ordered in last night. You're right, it was great. Though I do wonder if it would have been even better at the restaurant itself.
Is it odd that I am lonely? Even though it is my own self that denies me human contact? I feel at odds so often.
Please do orgive me if I am getting to personal again.
-Anouk.

Anouk,
Are you talking about Drakary Jukar's new flick? Yeah, it doesn't work as well without that Veinu guy.
Fanatic. *internal moan of pleasure* It's completely great isn't it? And the restaurant is totally cool, a very chill place to hang and eat. Do you want to go one day? I'm friends with the owner and I can get him to open up a bit earlier.
And no...I suppose it's not. Everyone needs people, even if we aren't so comfortable around them.
Hirsch.

Hirsh,
Go... with you?
-Anouk
He gasped as a small shiver went through him at the thought.

Hirsch smiled at that.
Anouk,
Of course! You don't think I'd have you go alone. That is, if you're feeling up to it.
Hirsch
