Dominic laughed. "What attitude is that?" he asked only to see the bearer had hung up. "Now that just cheating. Kent, trace that number and redial it."

Azrael didn't answer, sitting back with a smirk before standing and heading to bed, flipping off the radio.

Dominic got three calls from different bearers claiming otherwise. He just found the whole situation amusing.

Show over, he headed out. He had to meet up with Alexi tonight for a goodbye 'kiss' before the man transferred to his new job on Zerca.

The next morning, Azrael was up bright and early to get ready to head to work. He dressed, before heading to his transport and to Ment-City Pre-Education School. He walked into his classroom, full of brightly colored things and crafts from children and sighed. He needed coffee.

Dominic was still in bed, a pretty blond bearer draped over him.

Azrael smiled when his class filed in slowly and got ready to teach.

Afterwards, he headed out with a couple of the other teachers for drinks and then home to make dinner, flicking on the radio.

"I do wonder often about romance," Dominic admitted to his guest. "Sex is easy. Romance is and should be a challenge."

"Romance is something that everyone should be able to share though." said the guest, Author Michele Callicott.

"But is that really realistic?" Dominic asked. "I was raised that romance was something you could only realistically have with your mate. To attempt to have a relationship based one motions with someone who could find their mate any day is just asking for pain."

"I don't think so, I think that being in love with your mate is one thing, but taking the time to show a bearer he's special--or vice versa--is something that everyone deserves."

"Thats a false pretense. You're inviting unhappiness to you or the person you're with," Dominic argued. "And just throwing this out there: I wouldn't mind if my mate was sexually active before he met me. But to actually be in love with another guy? I'd always be wondering if he'd rather be with that guy or me."

"Well, how about we get some other opinions besides yours and mine?" Michele asked.

"Agreed. I'm eager to see how many people agree," he grinned and pressed the necessary button. "Caller, you're on the line."

"I'd have to say..." Azrael began, shaking his head. "I wonder how everything you manage to say, I disagree with. Romance is in fact a necessity in a relationship. You don't always fall in love with a person due to romance, but, it's better to know that you actually can like the person. Not everyone is so lucky as to find their mates."

"It's you again," Dominic said with a grin, loving the way the man's voice just covered him. "And I don't know. Maybe you just don't like me and therefor automatically disagree with everything I say."
