Jordynn just shook his head. "Then you wind up with men hating you."

"Men don't hate me. They love me," Roman snorted. "Why are you guys so strict? Didn't you ever mess around? I'm only 24!"

Jordynn snorted. "Yeah, no repercussions come from that at all," He said, snorting, before walking towards the door. No repercussions aside from being shot in the chest.

"Daddy - wait!" Roman hurried after him, hugging his back. "I didn't think... I'm sorry. I'm stupid. Please don't be mad at me." Rome was used to his mom getting pissy but his dad was always cool. It was weird to see him get upset at him.

Jordynn turned, hugging his son. "I'm not mad. But you do need to listen. People are crazy nowadays. You need to be careful how you treat them."

Roman sighed. "I'll try to think of ways to be nicer to bearers." he finally said.
"It's a start," Roux said, moving to hug Roman before heading out the door.

Jordynn and Roux made their exit, shaking their heads. What were they going to do with that boy?
Meanwhile, Rhema was talking with his Senior Officer about possibly moving up his Combat Operative test date.

Senior Officer Bai Lush listened to the bearer's request and considered what he had seen today in the ring. "You're good, Private, but no one is allowed to forego the advanced combat training no matter how good they are. I can transfer you to a ship and get it done immediately or you can wait for Private Commander Yenz to return from maternity leave. Your choice."

Rhema didn't even think about it. "I'd rather transfer, Sir." he said. He'd been in junior training for over half a year now, and it was simply tiring trwhen none was above everyone else's level. Rhema wanted to be challenged.

Bai sighed. "It'll be ashamed to lose you, Private. Are you familiar with the Fleet ship Interceptor?"

"The Captain Prynnes' ship? Yes. I am." Rhema said, looking at his S.O.

The man gave a nod. "The Interceptor is the top ship in Fleet. People are made and broken there. With your superior skills, that is where you need to be. In addition to that, Senior Officer Lieutenant Roman Prynne needs a bearer boxer to replace the one you annihalated the other night. The reason I bring the latter up is that for every win a Fleet ship gets, thousands of credits of funding goes to that ship and sector. You win fights, you'll keep the Prynnes interested." He explained, "If you want to advance your skills and gain rank then joining that team in addition to the transfer is your best bet."

Rhema nodded. "Alright, thank you sir." He said smiling at the male.

"I will contact the Interceptor with the replacement request. The ship recruiter owes me a favor. Go pack, Private, and report to the AI shipping area for your transfer." He ordered.

"Thank you sir," Rhema said with the proper acknowledgement before leaving. He sighed heading to his barracks to pack.
Around a week later, Rhema was stepping onto the Interception, walking towards his breifing station.
