Alicio nodded and smiled sweetly. "I've helped raised my nine younger siblings and I was good in school, I don't think this cute little guy will be much of a problem."

The Viscount blinked at that. Nine children... Good Lord! "Um, yes, I do think you qualify." Stating his very generous salary, he said, "If this is satisfactory then I would like you to start immediately. I will send servants to retrieve any items you may need."

Alicios stood up and bowed slightly, hands clasped low in front of him. "Oh, thank you very much, sir. Oh, how am I to address you by?"

Running his eyes over the man he knew familiarity would not work in his favor. He needed to avoid seducing this particular innocent. "Milord will do for now." Then to Luca, "Luca, this is your new nanny. You will obey him in all things."

Luca just poked his lip out and scowled.

Alicio smiled at the boy. "How about we take you to the park then? Is that alright, milord?"

Finn shrugged. "Do what you wish. He's your charge now. I will, however, want daily reports on his progress. We'll share meals when I am here. Don't forget to inform the servants of the whereabouts of your things."

Alicio bowed politely. "Then, milord we shall take our leave." Then, he turned to the boy. "Luca, would you like to go to the park now?"

Luca clapped his hands. "Yes, yes! Park!" He jumped into Alicios arms. "Luca like nanny!"

Alicio laughed lightly hugging the boy. "yes, and Nanny Cio likes you very much as well, what shall we do at the park," he said beginning to retreat from the room with the boy in his arms.

The Viscount watched them go, pleased with himself. Ture, he'd have to resist temptation at every corner but little Luca was happy enough.

Luca chased scrambling leaves across the open grassy area, giggling all the way.

Alicio watched him smiling, reminancing on his own younger siblings. He wondered how they were doing. With the money he was going to make, he hoped they would soon be doing better.

Luca tripped and fell, stayed there for a minute before running over to hug Alicio, big fat tears dripping from his eyes. "Ahhhhhh!"

Kid taken care of, Finn took himself off to his preferred gentlemen's club for a good round of poker and a scorching whiskey.

"Oh, did you hurt yoursel?" Alicio asked kneeling down to look at the boy. "Tell Nanny Cio where it hurts."

Luca sniffled and showed his little wrist which was quite red and swollen.

Alicio lifted the wrist and placed his lips lightly to the swollen red spot. "There, that should make it feel better for a little while. We should head back now and let the doctor look at it, yes?"
