And Jiri was beaming as he led his mate into their house once more. He'd gotten good news shortly after Gamma had been hospitalized that he hadn't shared with his mate, not wanting to upset the man if something went wrong this time. But Jiri could feel it was time, he could feel their son's strength coming through him. Thing baby was a wizard like his Giver.

jiri nodded and smiled. As he sat at the table waiting for his mate to prepare them a meal, he said, "Gamma, I have something to tell you."
