Ahiah blushed, "Not really. But I'm glad ya did come."

"Great. Then take this flower so I can proceed with my chivalry," he said with a charming smile.

Ahiah blushed, damning himself for it, before taking the flower and heading from the transpod to join the male on the ground.

Taking the man's elbow in hand, he led him a short ways down the street to the street. catching a transport, he took him to the Earth oriented 6 star restaurant called Era, that the Shodan's mate himself favored so much.

Ahiah looked around in surprise. "You've got a mighty-fine taste in restaurants, cher. I hear tell this place is probably one of the best." He said, looking over at Bane.

"Which is why I thought to bring you here," he said, winking at the man. "A first date should make an impression and I hope you get the right one tonight," he told him before turning and informing the host of his reservation. They were seated then and given a few moments to order while Bane ordered a select wine.

Ahiah blinked and looked around. He was surprised at the lengths the man had gone to, but a part of him was still guarded even as he sat back in his chair.

The waitor came and went and Bane leaned back in his chair. "Is all this too much for you? I wanted to show you how much I respect and, well, like you."

Ahiah fixed his chocolate eyes on the male. "Naw, I just...I just ain't used to all the effort for my sake." he said.

[ode]

"Well get used to it. I pride myself on being charming and you definitely bring out the charmer in me, gorgeous," he said with aplumb.

Ahiah didn't know how to respond to that, so his face did it for him as he flushed, and he picked up his wine glass.

"I reckon you chose this place on a count of the face I'm an Earthlin', but have you ever been?" he asked.

Bane shook his head. "I'm also half Earthling. My parents, however, died when I was two so I never got to go to Earth. I've always wanted to though. And yes, that's partially right. This being an Earth-based restaurant seemed like a wise choice."

Ahiah nodded. He hadn't known the male was half Earthling, like himself, but it made sense. "Ever think of visitin?" he asked.

"Often. But I gotta wait until Lev and his mate heads that way again. I can't leave the band high and dry," he said with a shrug. "Where are you from? If everyone there is as lovely as you then I think it's a place well worth visiting."

"New Orleans, Louisianna." he said, his unique slur making the place sound like 'NeOrlins'.
