Well Caira saw it as an affordable place to survive the nights, so Garrett's views and his didn't really match up.
He arrived at a rundown brownstone and walked up the stairs. "Thank you, Mr. Garrett. You'd best return to your establishment now."

"Yeah, I guess." Garrett replied, running his fingers through his hair before crossing his arms. "You don't mind me walking you again, do you?"

"I feel as though you're getting a bit protective of me, boss. What would the other dancers think?" Caira asked, before heading for the door of his building. "Goodnight, Mr. Garrett." he said before slipping inside.

Garrett frowned and wrinkled his nose as Caira disappeared. "Protective?" He said aloud to no one as he turned to head back to the bar. "Who's protective? Certainly not me."

Caira just headed upstairs for a quick shower and bed, setting his alarm to wake him at noon.

Once the bar was closed up for the morning, Garret headed up to the apartment above the bar. It looked like the pent house of a ritzy hotel but only twice as big. After a shower, Garrett headed to bed.
The next day he was up and about around one and headed down to a small cafe on the street that he was fond of.

Caira worked as a barrista there, listening to the orders the friendly, handsome cashier barked at him. He'd just made a beautiful cup of coffee before turning back to his machine.

Garrett had on a smile and was about to charm the cashier for a free bagel again when he spotted Caira. He'd recognize that ass anywhere. "Caira?" The vampire asked in disbelief.

Caira finished his cup and gave it to the customer before looking at Garrett. "Hello, Mr. Garrett." he said to the male.

"Garrett." Garrett replied automatically. "I didn't know you worked here." It was a wonder how Caira was dancing long nights AND working as a barista!

Caira nodded. He couldn't get out of that hellhole without two jobs.

"Well, it's nice to see you." Garret continued, smiling genially at Caira.

Caira nodded. "Would you like to order something?" he asked the male, though his eyes strayed to the tall, handsome giver that strolled in behind the prince.
He smiled. "Hey Caira."
Caira stood stock still for a moment before he smiled at the male, an expression that made him exponentially more beautiful. "Nathaniel."

Garret's eyes narrowed and he looked over his shoulder as a very good looking giver, giving the male a really dirty look. Caira never smiled like that ever! Especially not at him. Suppressing a growl, Garrett nodded, "I'll just have a decafe blood mocha please."

Caira's eyes flicked back to his boss before he turned and began to make the coffee carefully. The tall...wizard? stood at the bar and waited, simply smiling at the dancer's graceful form.
