After arguing with Serafin, a feeling of mixed fear and disgust filled me. I went back to Aina and my instincts kicked in as the fucking bastard bent MY mate over. Oh HELL no! I stormed over, ghosting through him again to have him fall to the ground in pain. I became solid again and straddled the fucker only to beat the ever living shit out of him. He did NOT know who the fuck he thought he was dealing with.

I felt something ghost through me, and I screamed as I saw everything bad that had ever happened to me flash before my eyes. I saw my parents die, Maaku get branded and raped, finding out that Killian was alive, and my brother losing his memory.

I finally had the guy unconscious and was about to throw his dumb ass in the ocean when I noticed that I had accidently ghosted through Aina. Shit. I hurried over and worked on putting his mind at ease.

Once Aina stopped screaming, I went back to the bastard and tossed him in the ocean, hoping he'd drown and get eaten by sharks. I sat down by my mate and pulled him into my lap, just holding him.
