Today was the day Asmond was scheduled to go over to the village over and check on his mate to be. He was suppose to marry one, but then it seemed his mate was meant to be another. He was leaving his current place of residence, exiting the house he lived in alone. He had discussed this with the elders, and everyone else knew in general. It wasn't something he cared for, but this was a big thing.
"I'm going," Of course his parents were nearby as he headed off, but they didn't accompany him. Not like leaving a trail behind him, but they, and a few others were going to make sure things went smoothly.
The walk to the village itself took a good amount of time, but soon they were there, and some of the tribes inhabitants laid witnessed to their coming, knowing why. Or they should have known if the elders had told them. "I've come to see my mate from this tribe," he stated out loud, now just waiting for someone to send him out. His little entourage trailing behind him, surely to see the elders, or just to discuss how they would get together with some official, special looking happening.

Lavrenti was sent out of his home once Asmond called out, and looked to him curious. He was wearing his leather jacket as normal and tight black leather jeans with his nice belt(what he is wearing in the picture). He looked behind Asmond to see all the people then behind himself to see his own people. Finally he looked back to Asmond a blank look on his face, "They want us to marry...then you to take me home..." he told him softly.

Could the other male be any less excited? Asmond was briefly grimacing at the listless response of his mate to be when he saw he had appeared. And he had been described to him, so he was sure this was the one. "That is fine with me, it's why I came." He couldn't tell if he was speaking on behalf of his tribe, or just telling him what to expect, He certainly hoped this wouldn't be what an average day like with him was. He didn't like having to do with, but he knew how to suck it up and take it as it came. Just like he knew his parents were eventually expecting kids to be had, and he was determined to make that happen.

Lavrenti watched him wondering what he was thinking, he himself was nervous, and frightened, but he would not show it. The wedding is tonight for they have to prepare..." he told him now. "So we have time...could we go somewhere private to get to know each other?" It had been his givers idea but he wanted to, he wanted to know a little about his mate before they married. He looked to both sets of elders glad they agreed, "Would you like to go to the lake with me?"

So this was set in stone, they were getting married and his mate wasn't getting cold feet. "That's fine," he wanted to get to know the other male so this was perfect. "Lead the way." He would think he knew the area better the he did about here. The only reason he was over here now was to see the young male here to get married to him eventually. He never explored the place, and didn't think their people all close enough to just do as they please on each others lands. Briefly did he give a sign to his followers, and his parents who didn't mind at all. "Now, we can go." He was stepping forward, waiting for the other male to do something.

Lavrenti nodded then started to walk away. He was silent knowing others were watching as they left. Once they were alone on the lake he looked to Asmond curious. "What is your home like?" he asked softly, wanting to know about the place they would live together in.

The walk had been a silent one, at least until they were alone, away from the many prying eyes. "Not so different from yours, we have a lush surrounding of trees, everyone is relatively friendly." He couldn't say absolutely, there were a few grumps about, but no more then any other place. "It is not like you are leaving for an entirely different planet." They were still going to be on the one they were now, they're people didn't differ much, perhaps a little different in attire, but nothing too drastic.
"Tell me, Lavrenti..." He trailed off briefly, wondering something. "Did you have a lover before?" He wasn't going to say he would get jealous if he said yes, but he also wouldn't say no. It went without saying that they were mates, he had every right to be.

Lavrenti looked to him curious, wondering why he was asking. "I had a boyfriend..." he admitted softly. "But we only kissed...he tried to make me go further...but I've wanted to save myself for my mate..."

"So you merely kissed him," The moment Asmond heard the other male state he had a boyfriend, he nearly saw red. To think that someone had touched his mate, he was ready to lay claim to him right then and there, or better yet hunt down this boyfriend of his. "Oh," he could have given a sigh of relief, instead he kept a firm passive expression.
"Did things end before we met?" He meant to say if they ended their relationship before they were declared as mates.

Lavrenti looked to him trying to see his reaction, not liking that he was passive. "Yes," he assured softly. "It ended a few months ago...though he does not think it did." He looked away sighing, "Hes still trying to get with me...he doesn't like you much. I'll try to keep him away from you though..."

Hearing this other male was still trying to get at his mat caused Asmond's eyes to widen in fury. Unbelievable, if this man tried to get at him again, he made no promise as to not hurt the man. "Keep him away from me," Clearly his voice held a tinge of anger, his expression a mere grimace.
"If I see this man go near you, I'll throttle him." He was blunt about it, there was no need to sugar coat how he felt for the boy. Whether they just met or not, his mate was his, and him going near the man was the last thing he wanted. "I forbid you to go near him," he was jumping to keep the two apart.

Lavrenti looked back to him surprise on his face and he sighed. "I do not want to go near him, I just want to keep him away from you ok?" He moved closer shyly, "Don't be so possessive..." he told him softly. "Please?"

Not be possessive, that was easier said then done. "I do not understand." He calmed down as he spoke, simply frowning now at the other male. "How do you plan to do that without going near him." He did not want him to do it, he couldn't just drop the fact he wanted to be protective from him. "Who are you trying to protect?"

"I will ask friends to keep an eye on him," he told him simply. He flushed as he reached for his hand, "I am trying to protect you...and well...me...I do not need you fighting over me..."

Friends, that made sense, he supposed. "I will do what I see I have to, but I will...try not to start anything." Asmond grasped his mates hand in his own when it touched his. "Is there anything else I need to know about him?"
