On the Streets (Damian Scott & Raven)

Raven smiles softly and turns, ''Come along then." And takes off on a brisk walk towards his job once more.

Damian got up and quickly followed the man to his work, glancing back to make sure no cops were following or anything. He didn't see anyone so figured this wasn't some kind of trap and continued to follow behind the man as he relaxed more.

Raven chuckles lightly as he looked back to see what the other was doing, "I hardly ever associate with the authorities... For reasons beyond even my understanding." He reaches back and takes Damian's wrist. "But please, walk next to me... You are making me nervous."

Damian tenses when the man grabs his wrist and turns to look at him a she moves to walk next to him. "OK sir. Sorry. I've been on the streets so long it's hard for me to trust anyone. Just was making sure it wasn't a set up."

Raven smiles softly and then lets go of Damian's wrist, "All the more reason to walk beside me... I'd have to kick someone's ass if they dare touched you."

"Oh ok sir. I'll walk beside you." Damian walking beside the guy and watching as other street people stared as he walked by. he got a huge grin on his face and started to strut down the street, showing off in front of the others who had always tried to hurt him.

As they walk past someone whom glared at Damian as they approached Raven gives them a growl, they back off automatically. Then the Zercan smiles and waves, brightening up immediately.

"So kid... What's your name? I'm Raven. Raven Haelyn."

Damian watched this with interest and got a huge smile on his face as the boy baked off. "My name's Damian Scott. Nice to meet you Raven." He moved closer to the guy, feeling safe around him after he chased off that one boy.

"Damian huh? Did you know one of my brother's was going to be named that?" He smiles to the human with a toothy grin. "Instead Ma named him Atari."

"Atari, isn't that some old video game system or something? Not that I'm insulting the name or anything. I think it's a cool name."

I shrug, "Not from this country... Wouldn't know."

"Really? Guess I should have realized you weren't from the area. No one from aorund here would ever be nice to me.

"Hmmm..." Raven cocks his head to the side in thought before snapping his fingers. "My Ma would of loved you. He was a part of a circus and he loves all people."

"Really? That's cool. Wish I could have met him. If people just got to know me they'd realize how nice I was, but on the streets no one trusts anyone. I'm glad I decided to trust you though cause your really nice."

Raven blinks before smiling, "Thank you Damian. You are nice too." They reach the school. "But our chat must be cut short... I've classes to teach."
