Mat looked to him suddenly worried about their baby. He tried to get out from under him, "Stop...stop you are going to hurt the baby..." he protested then froze, he didn't meant to tell him yet it just slipped out.

Zain stared at Mat critically before picking him up bridal style and carrying him to the infirmary.
"Hey! I want a check up on him and a pregnancy test run!"

Mat sat still as he was checked up, glad the doctors didn't tell Zain he had already been checked. "Zain, sir, he is pregnant, with twins," the doctor told him. Mat was surprised at that the doctor had only told him he was pregnant.

Zain gave a curt nod before picking Mat back up and carrying him to their room. He walked to the bed and dropped him down onto it.
"Enjoy this while it lasts, this will be the only time you will not be punished as severely as usual."

Mat watched him and knew what he had to do. He had to run, he couldn't raise children in this environment. Once Zain had left he started to pack quickly hoping he would not come back soon.

As always, Zain didn't trust his mate. He stationed guards at every possible exit and had even made sure the vents and windows were bolted and welded shut. It had taken awhile to convince a welder that it wasn't a safety hazard but it was worth it.

When Mat figured that out he nearly had a panic attack, he needed to get out. Soon he figured out a way, he would leave when the groceries were delivered, he could hide in the truck. Once it came he slipped in the back praying he could get free.

Zain had gone to the room to let Mat know the groceries had been brought so he could eat what he wanted. When he got there and found it empty he let out a enraged roar so loud that the whole manor heard it.
"WHERE IS THAT UNGRATEFUL BRAT!?!?!?!?"

Mat was happy when the truck rolled away he waited for a few stops before getting out and making his way home. He would get some money from his brother then head off planet.

Meanwhile, Zain was tearing his house apart looking for Mat. It wasn't until he remembered what Mat had said earlier that he stopped.
"AI!!! Search for Mat and let me know where he is!"

Mat was a bit hurt that he had to leave but it was for the safety of his children and his heart. He quickly explained to his brother what happened then hurried to find a ship.

Zain's AI located Mat as leaving his brother's and heading to a ship. Zain went straight to the ship and disguised himself as a crewman, making sure to stay out of Mat's vision. He wanted to play with his mate a bit.

Mat soon bought a room on the ship and sat there frightened. He did not where he was going to go or how to raise the twins on his own.

Zain had his AI watching Mat at all times but was keeping quiet for now. He was currently moving luggage to the assigned rooms. He had to admit, there were some cute bearers here.
