^^;; If you read the question/suggestion entitled 'About Zercans...', it says:
There's some other interesting stuff in there too, so take a look! ^_^ And read the story!

Hm...I was reading some threads and I was wondering: Where do the babies/kits go after they're born? I mean, I know how the medi-box works the child out of his lifegiver, but where do they go after that?
I mean, do they just...lay there inside this coffin-like box with their mother, or do they appear in a different room (like a hospitaal nursery) with the help of magic, or does an attendant or someone just come in and take the baby/kit out?

I never thought about that, but that's a good question. How do you feed your baby? I mean...males have no breasts... And how can they tell whether their kit will turn out to be a seme or uke? You mentioned before that they have to wait a year or so, right? But how can you tell?

Would a lifegiver have labor pains at all before the birth? I mean, could they just go there on their due-date or whatever and hop in the medi-box just like that...Oooor would they have to go into labor like an earth female before getting to a medi-box? I mean, if they have to have a c-section when they go into actual labor, do they feel any pain at all?

Whoa... First off there is a compartment in the bottom half of the medi-box where the babe comes out cleansed of all it's mums nasty-stuff. 0.o So an attendant will take the babe from the box and the father will have the choice of keeping the babe with him or having it sent to a nursery.
Second, remember how Earthlings' bodies change with the sex with a Zercan? It's the same with any species, all species save Earthlings have natural milk within their pecs... so It's kind of like a chick would feed her kid. Remember though, male Earthlings have to go through transition-which occurs after sex with an outer-planeter- to be able to bear and feed his babe.
And yep, they do feel labor pains, that;s how they know their going into labor.
Hope that answer's everyone's questions! Until next time...

Alrighty since those answered my questions! I got a new one.
1. Does the lifegiver have a choice of either breast feeding or formula like most parents now a days have?

Breast feeding is most common... but yes, there is a formula that is available.

Is there a way to stall the labor process to get somewhere? I know that with the female body, once the host body (that sounds so callous...) has deemed the baby fully developed, the labor is it's way of dispelling the child from their body. Or something like that. I haven't actually glanced at a Sexual Education book since highschool (Sophomore? I think...) so I may be wrong.
Er, back to my original question. As the life givers are male, would the body decide that it would spontaneously combust if the child isn't taking out of the system in time? (ow... not an accurate comparison, but...) Or do they have an injection that will calm the body's reaction until they can operate and or put the person in the medi-box? Are people expected to have a medic within calling vicinity or if not, tools as a 'just in case' measurement?
I suppose one of the things stemming from my questions is the fact that, as this is an interplanetary rp, it would not be as simple as getting someone to a hospital as it is on Earth if they are in space. -__-;;

Yeah. The medi-boxes are everywhere. But now I have a new question. Do Zercans have weak immune systems? It seems like they rely on Medi-Boxes a lot and since they don't wait for their bodies to fight off the deseases, they're probably weak towards deseases, right? If the medi-boxes suddenly stopped working, the Zercans would be in big trouble. They probably don't have doctors since they have medi-boxes and don't have medicine.

There's a dominant and submissive mate. The submissive one (uke) has the babies.

What if neither one knows what the heck is going on? Would a pregnant Earthling end up in a doctor's office or hospital with a suspected abdominal tumor?! Can you imagine the excitement over that? Oh... Story idea? Having your mate shipped off somewhere to be studied... Hmmm... I'm just trying to imagine my Cat in this situation. Aren't some ukes going to be really upset when they find out they can/will get pregnant AND have to nurse?
